.bleary with coffee listening to Neighbor’s roofers on bedroom side of house thunk and pound next door..They arrive 6:30. They pick up Concrete tiles and stack them in the roof, Rip out old roofing material under that, repair rotting wood, put down new roofing, then hammer tiles back in. Stuff gets thrown down into a metal junk container that will be hauled away later. Noisy even with double lane windows. She came over Yesterday , stood at distance, and left a bottle of wine with apology for the week.
Went to sleep early last night, but woke up every 45 to 60 minutes all night...too hot, too cold, clogged nose, weird dreams, etc. yuck.
So aside from going through recipes I cut out or printed last couple months and figuring out a food plan before I venture to grocery store, no plans.

moonriver , It’s nice to remember our parent’s birthday. It is a lot cooler today than the weekend and the weather forecast calls for frost this weekend. Are elective surgeries allowed now in Michigan? They allowed them here starting this past Friday. Karen, happy birthday week! Linda, sorry for the noise but what a nice neighbor. Waving to the crew.

Thanks for the start, Chele. In addition to May the Fourth Be With You, it's also the 50th anniversary of the Kent State massacre. I think I mention every year how close to home that was for me because that's where I had hoped to go to college. LOL on washing your Hans. Are you expecting precip with your cold weather this weekend? I saw that your governor said he "went too far" on the face mask requirement for the public. I personally think he was right the first time. "Non-essential procedures" are available starting today in TN. Going to be interesting. Becky, we had bright sun on Saturday as well, so we would have been sunburned in unmentionable places had we been in the buff. Everyone retained all their apparel, including masks, with the exception of my 3 problem children. Did Kenneth get nice boots? I've never looked at the clothes and footwear in Tractor Supply but have gotten some things at our local farmers' co-op. 6K sounds like a great step goal until you are fully recovered. There is a 5-page document that came out from the state on what gyms are required to do. There will be no locker rooms or showers, so that will help. But I usually change clothes after I finish at Gold's, so I will stick a pair of workout pants and a roomy shirt in the call to pull over my workout clothes when I'm done so I can keep the germs off my upholstery. I will also jump in the shower when I get home. Did you hear how many people showed up at church yesterday? I guess you already "attended" so if they don't get your local service on FB any time soon, it shouldn't be a huge deal. LOL on your "idiot governor and his band of monkeys". I hope it won't be too warm there today. Are you expecting snow toward the end of the week, Denise? I saw something on the a.m. news that there is a freak cold front moving down from Canada and there is expected to be snow as far south as the Appalachians. We are expecting colder than normal weather, so I may have to delay putting my new plants in for now. Happy Birthday in Heaven to your DF. Mine would have turned 90 in March. Do you have siblings with kids/grandkids? DB/DSIL have 5 kids between them and those 5 kids have 7 of their own, and I keep in some level of contact with the nieces and nephews. Linda, I heard that ICU capacity is one of the reasons a lot of governors decided to reopen. Why do they think that's a justification??? Give the healthcare workers a bit of a break!! The other major reason is that they don't want to pay unemployment. Definitely still not safe out there. Is a tile roof noisier getting installed than a shingled one? The smell has to be less, especially in the heat. You have had a lot of rain, so I wonder how long your neighbors have had to delay due to weather. So sorry about your restless night. Hope you can get a little rest today. I know that's the plan, but I also know how that tends to change for you. Kathy, you should see the crowds in G'burg yesterday. They had photos on the noon news and it was way over the top and NO masks to be seen. No clue if these are local people or tourists. GF gave up doing the rental cabins because people figured they paid a cleaning fee and wanted to get their money's worth and left nasty messes. So I don't know if the tourists are coming back yet or not but will see how many out of state places are evident when I go out on Wednesday. Are you getting a cool down this weekend like the rest of us in the East? I'm happy you are getting some wildlife back at the pond. Thinking of you, Liz! Hope you are staying well and getting through. I have 40 Arya dinners in the freezer, so she'll be good til the middle of next month. A little laundry and that's about all that is planned for the day. I got a late start because I was helping to pull together the "leftover plant" sale, which will be Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, and it has taken me 2 hours to get this posted due to continuing work on that front. But I think we have all our ducks in a row now. GF and I will work Wednesday. Can't do Thursday due to Osteo. I will probably have more plants follow me home. We are not "selling" but are doing donation only. We usually do pretty well on donations. We had strong winds toward bedtime and I had to bring in my tomato plants so they didn't get damaged. Will have to do the same tonight because we are predicted to have more storms. We lost the top off our bird feeder and it took Dale a while to find it. So we will bring that in tonight as well, so no late night snacks for the cardinals. Then getting cooler for the remainder of the week. At least we won't have snow this far south.

tile roof takes longer with removing , stacking and replacing each big curved concrete tile. clunky, clunk, clunk, crash when they break one and throw it down.
Karen, how about putting a big trash bag over the car seat? you can reuse it.
I always think of that song May 4....”four dead in Ohio”. Remember when Trump talking about hiw protesters should be attacked, that in the good old days they got carried out on stretchers? Seems to have changed his mind lately.
I see they are starting to arrest some of those open us up people who have been joined by anti-vaccine folks who want everyone to get immune by getting sick..only 2.5 million will die! right now it us 200,000 with masks and distance. Trump kind of did not give the real number expected.
Denise, my dad would have bern 102 this August.
Did my morning yard work half hour listening to thumps, bangs and Mexican radio from the roofers next door. I had to pull up a wobbling paver and saw out the root under it from the almond tree we had removed last year with carpenter ants. Did some dead heading and came in and finally dyed my hair....been since Thanksgiving! Wonder what Thanksgiving will be like this year.
spent time on a puzzle, then going through recipes I have printed or cut out and organized them and got a loose plan for the week.
Tomorrow DH and I will go to Whole foods ...really big store. and get some produce, cheese and bread.I like Sprouts better since Amazon took over and ruined WF, but the bakery and cheese are extensive.

listened to this during supper... m.youtube.com/watch?v=I9aandgBdxwYou'll Never Walk Alone" is a show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel. In the second act of the musical, Nettie Fowler, the cousin of the protagonist Julie Jordan, sings "You'll Never Walk Alone" to comfort and encourage Julie when her husband, Billy Bigelow, the male lead, falls on his knife and dies after a failed robbery attempt. It is reprised in the final scene to encourage a graduation class of which Louise (Billy and Julie's daughter) is a member. The now invisible Billy, who has been granted the chance to return to Earth for one day in order to redeem himself, watches the ceremony and is able to silently motivate the unhappy Louise to join in the song. Chele Thanks for the start.May the 4th be with you as well. moonriver Denise It's nice to be able to remember our loved ones on their birthdays. Linda What a noise to wake up to. Chele It got up to 93 here today. It's only down to 84 at 8:15 but only up in the 80's the rest of the week.Yea. Karen He said his boots are so comfortable it's like walking on air.I wish my sneakers were that comfortable but his old ones really hurt his feet.I don't buy much in the way of clothes there but he can usually find boots.Someone posted a picture of those in attendance at church and it couldn't have been over 10 if that many. They had them distanced very nicely.I watched the FB service today and the pastor said he was actually glad there wasn't a crowd because they weren't ready for a crowd yet.He started his sermon by saying it was the first time he had ever spoken in front of an audience of bandits referring to the face masks. It was 93 but thankfully a cool front is coming through tomorrow leaving us in the 80's the rest of the week.Abbott is an idiot.Even Adler makes more sense than Abbott does. They had to close 2 parks in Travis County on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. One was a park they closed on Saturday due to overcrowding.People just don't get it still.

I have a headache because I cried when I heard the sing, then again when I found they were playing it all over England and Europe for the medical workers.
Am I the only one moved by it?
