Linda, how's the infection? Are the meds working? Are you back on antibiotics, after the awful time you had not long ago? I thought my UTI was coming back yesterday so I started back with the herbs and feel ok today. We had the moon reflecting off the lake this morning and it was amazing. Dale got a photo of it so I hope it came out good. The cake sounds wonderful! How was it? I hope you and Bob are staying put. Your governor seems like a dufus for trusting a secret model on reopening, instead of the one the universities were building.
Congratulations on the great report from the surgeon, Becky! I would think if it was a blood clot, not only would you have constant pain, but also it would be warmer to the touch than the area around it. You should make that 5 degrees fairly quickly after you can get a lot of benefit from the machines you'll be working on soon. Will you be going there twice a week or won't you know until you get there? Did you have time to do your HEB stop between appts?
Kathy, we did watch Eve. I'm so sorry about Niko. I'm guessing Dasha is one of The Twelve. We should be coming up on the season finale of Outlander fairly soon, shouldn't we? I got a package of Spicy California Sushi today at Publix and it was pretty good. Not as good as our local place, but it took care of my sushi craving. I heard something about some road closures in Gatlinburg starting this weekend, so that will make some people unhappy. We don't have many tourists, but I did see some out of state plates today, most of them FL, GA, OH, and IN, but did see one from Hawaii, of all places.
We watched 9-1-1 last night, Chele. I guess we know what will be going on in the season finale. I wonder if Athena will be all better by then. The Buck/Abby encounter should be an interesting one. How are your allergies doing and how is your weather? We are experiencing what is known locally as "blackberry winter". Supposed to be close to freezing on Saturday morning. We got a message from the state master gardener coordinator and it started out, "I hope your tomatoes and peppers are still in your garage or greenhouse". Mine are.
Liz, with all NYC has had to endure, at least they aren't having to deal with the requirements to go back to work in non-essential businesses when it doesn't feel safe to do so. Are you expecting snow this weekend?
Do you always work nights, Denise? I worked nights early in my EMS career and it was difficult to lose wt and really easy to gain. I did much better when I was able to go back on days. It sounds like you are as fond of the water as I am, given the places you mentioned visiting. Are the places you like to go all pretty close driving distance to where you live?
Despite nasty, windy, rainy weather yesterday, we sold a lot of plants. We got slammed with shoppers and it was difficult to keep everyone in their cars and ensure that we admitted them in the order in which they arrived. We sold $530 worth yesterday and almost that much today, from what I heard. We still do have some plants left, but mostly small stuff. Osteo went pretty well, but with the new procedures, they were running way behind and I had to wait in the car for about 20 minutes. I told Dale we may as well assume it's going to be the same way for the rest of the month. Publix wasn't too crazy, but people still can't follow directions--and they were both on the floor and at eye level. About half the customers were wearing masks, so that was a good thing. It was really strange to be on such a "long" trip after so many weeks or little to no driving. I didn't go to Gold's today. Not many cars in the parking lot, but I'm just not sure gyms need to be open quite yet. I told Dale if I could develop a good lower body workout, I have enough cardio options here that I could give up the gyms for now.

Karen, thanks for the start. I am glad the plant sale went well. I am sure Osteo will be backed up since they are following social distancing. I think it wise to avoid the gym, since people at the gym are not known for cleaning up after themselves. I am glad you got to satisfy your sushi craving. We have not. I passed Dorothy Lane market on my wayback from the ophthalmologist a couple of weeks ago and the parking lot was more packed than usual, so I did not go in for sushi. I found a recipe from the Mediterrasian site for red lentil kofta I might try. I caught up on 9-1-1 today. Next week should be very interesting since Buck has not gotten over Abby. Our plants are shipping from Pennsylvania today and will arrive Monday. I hope UPS knows what they are doing.
Becky, I am glad the surgeon is happy with the results and your progress. The machines sure will help with strength and flexibility. Gee, I hope it is not a clot.
Linda, I hope you feel better soon and the antibiotics don’t mess up your stomach again. I never thought about the antibiotics I was on for my ear messing up my stomach but it has been upset for 2-3 weeks. More yoghurt! Those recipes look great.
Kathy, did you get your cool front? Today was back in the upper 60s but 50s tomorrow with a low of 30°. We are going to have to cover Mr Lemon.
The mulberry tree pollen is high today and we have a mulberry tree in the backyard. My eyes have been burning all day but I have been able to breathe. I made a cucumber dill salad and some biscuits and Iggy scrambled us some eggs. He is taking tomorrow off. I hope it doesn’t rain so he can work outside. Otherwise he will drive me bananas. He has been very restless this week. The governor is opening up salons May 15 and restaurants May 21. I won’t be going to the salon even if my hair is getting is a little wild-not until July, at least. We won’t be going inside any restaurants either.

Karen Thanks for the start.
Linda The cake sounds wonderful.I am glad you feel better already.
Karen I had to go outside before bed to look at the moon.It was awesome.I will probably go twice a week.He ordered 2-3 times a week.Wednesday will just be the assessment. We didn't have time to go to HEB between appointments and didn't really need that much so put it off till this morning. You had really good sales from the plant sale.I think I would have problems going to a gym right now.Ours can open up on May 18 but hair, nail and tanning salons can open tomorrow with 1 customer per stylist and other restrictions I'm not sure about.I just know I am not ready to go to a hair salon.
Chele Thanks.I doubt it is a clot but it is more sore today after my 2nd shorter walk but I think it's just soreness since it doesn't hurt all the time.I hope Iggy is able to work in the yard tomorrow.
