Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Well, it did snow off and on yesterday afternoon. Big fluffy flakes, they looked beautiful - but it’s May. I did get a nice walk in, told a neighbor that I thought I slept through summer. It’s very cold out. I didn’t get snow overnight, but north of me did and there were a few accidents due to the slippery roads.
I will get 3 meals for the $12.99 at OG. Today I’ll have chicken Parmesan, save 1 piece of chicken for Monday. Tomorrow will be fettuccine Alfredo. Looking forward to it. I’m going to call the liquor store and order wine. I buy the 4pack bottles so I don’t have to open a full size bottle. They have curbside service.
I’m planning a spa evening today. I need some pampering even if I have to pamper myself. I’m going to give myself a mini pedicure, and will buff and shine my fingernails.
I got a call from work. They are going to send me work on Monday. Talked to other cashier for a while. She said it still pretty slow, but sales staff stops in every once in a while. She’s glad to be back, is enjoying talking to everyone. I get it. She thinks I’ll get called to the office after the 15th, that’s what I’m figuring too. I might work in the business office (another building) where the filing is kept. That would be ok. Other than wearing a mask and the waiting room only has a few seats for distancing she said everything else is pretty much the same.
Neighbors, a couple of houses away, had a screaming match yesterday. They were really loud and someone eventually called the police. From what I heard, too much togetherness.
Later ...

Joyce, when Bill and I got the Olive Garden meal we had the chicken parm also. It was good and we also had 2 big pieces of chicken, so that was 2 meals and I had the fettuccine alfredo as my second meal. Good deal for the price and the food was still hot when we got it home. I hope you get called back to work as long as the conditions are safe for you to work and it sounds like it is.
Waving to Ruth and Cathy. Hope you are both doing okay.
Not much happening here. We didn’t get snow but they did north of us, not much, just enough to cause some traffic problems. Very windy here today and cool (in the 40s for a high), but it is sunny. Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer, not real warm but not as windy. Bill stained the floor in his office/guest room this morning. It looks real nice but the smell is pretty strong and due to the outside temp we don’t want to open any windows. We are both staying off the 2nd floor for now, will check it out later this afternoon. Have to go move some clothes from the washer to the dryer and then probably ready my book.

Wow! It’s snowing like a November afternoon. It’s very windy too. It’s too cold here to keep the windows open too. No outside walking, I’ll exercise indoors instead.
Just got off the phone with DB. He called to wish me a Merry Christmas 😂
DB and I always had a good relationship, we’re so much closer now. We were talking football. DSIL has a friend in San Francisco, the Bills are scheduled to play there in December. DSIL’s friend bought tickets to the game, DB made reservations at a hotel near their stadium. They are hoping to go there for the game.
It was nice to be talking about future plans. No one knows what the future holds, but mentally it’s important to think things will be somewhat ok.

Happy Mother’s Day!
Another cold morning. Looking forward to next weekend when it will actually feel like Spring. Rain expected for part of the day, but I should get my walk in.
Nothing much planned for the day. I might do some laundry, or I might spend the afternoon coloring. I ordered the shelving units from Home Depot and will probably pick them up tomorrow. They have curbside service.
See ya later

Joyce, that is funny that your brother wished you Merry Christmas. We had snow flurries here yesterday afternoon, crazy weather. I agree that it is important to look forward to some fun activities. Hope your DB and DSIL get to go to San Francisco for the game, sound like a fun trip. What kind of shelving units did you order?
Waving to Ruth, hope you are having a great Mother’s Day even with everything that is going on.
Bill made breakfast as he usually does on weekends. I ran to the store to get a few items for dinner today. There were hardly any frozen vegetables and even some of the fresh produce was scarce. I was able to get the few things I needed. We took a walk when I got home. The sun is nice but the wind is still very cold. It did feel good to get out and get a walk in.

Good night all. Had a long message typed and my iPad is acting up and it just disappeared. May have to start doing them in notes and then do a cut & paste!
Anyway, this will be short. Will get on in the morning and do a long catch up.
Hope everyone had a good day. We got to FaceTime with older DD; then had an in-person visit from younger DD/DSIL/Harper/Sawyer. And we spent 90 minutes out in the backyard where we were wearing winter coats & gloves! And masks! But I got masked hugs from the girls when they were leaving. First hugs in 6-8 weeks. And we got 2 very short FaceTimes with Mara. About 5 min each time. She just doesn’t get that she needs to hold the phone where we can see her while she’s seeing us. She wants the phone up close to her face where she can see us better.
Ok, off to bed. More in the morning.
