Do you ever feel the need to take a break from weight loss or weight maintenance? If you do take breaks how do you manage them?

No, I've never felt the need to take a break from this. I always struggle a little and go into portion creep easily so I know I would easily gain weight, and I don't want to work hard at losing weight again. I'm happy with what I eat. I do sometimes not want to do the mental work necessary to eat out and not overeat.

There was a time I said, "Who cares!" and I stopped caring and counting and gained a LOT of weight. I snapped out of it eventually and lost the weight and got down to goal weight again. I am currently up and working toward goal (again) with ups and downs along the way. When I stop I gain and when I gain I am not as happy and then I get back to it again and it is work...wish I was at goal NOW and working to maintain!

I donโt try to take breaks anymore. Iโve learned that it gets harder and harder to undo the results. At this season in my life I would rather find my sweet spot and learn how to hang out there.

luvvinlife, That is another reason I don't want to take a break, not knowing if I can get my act together again to lose weight.
