Good Morning Everyone - just another reminder to TRACK your TUESDAY. Jot down what you eat or plan ahead to what each meal will be to see if you are getting the right balance of fruit, veggies, and protein. For me it's gotta be a much lower carb intake - so I did plan out this Tuesday: B - omelet w/pepper, spinach, tomatoes with blueberries/strawberries L - pre made a salad of spinach, ice burg lettuce, peppers, strawberries, hb egg, left over steak D - Chicken (crockpot) breast over brown rice w/fresh steamed broccoli I have plenty of room for a glass of wine and snack later. Will also aim to get in a WALK today.
The last few days have been freezing rain, snow, and just plain COLD outside. Today promises to see the sun with temps in the 40s but at least there will be sun!
Yesterday was a very hectic full day around here. Lindsey is still home but plans to drive back today. She said she was just tired from the weekend and wanted to hang out on the couch. No college papers to write and no pressure to do anything - but she had to help deal with the contractor/handyman who brought 2 partners. The NOISE and the commotion was insane, but all necessary! We just had no moment of peace throughout the day! LOL
More work to be done today. One more big project to finish inside then they move outside if the sun is out. My laundry list of TO DO projects certainly got taken care of and I couldn't be more pleased! Replacing the front door handle and adding a deadbolt was a complicated matter even for the most experienced - he had to drill holes for the deadbolt then shave down part of door for the latch - and it just would not neatly match up - took 2 other opinions to figure out the kit I bought at Lowe's - but they got it. Apparently each brand is a tad different and this one only provided pictures not written directions. (oops, sorry - I just picked one up off the shelf) Our bathroom vents are also far more work than what appears. Apparently the ceiling was built after the fans/vents were in place which means there are large holes if you don't perfectly match the size of the 25 yr old vents. Um, which they don't easily make these days. So the guys rebuilt the opening, returned to the wholesaler for larger fans/vents and then had to match the piping and will re-plaster around the opening. WAY more than my friend and I could have done. Which is exactly what we suspected as we did try 5 years ago - oh, then little jobs got done such as replaced a bedroom door (previous owner used a glass 'office' style door) Lindsey hung her Boy Bands to cover her glass door but the time has come to put a real door back up. Then curtain rods needed re-hung, bi-fold door needed fixed, new ceiling fan put in our Master bedroom w/remote control! So you can see, it was a lot of jobs. The whole while they wore their masks and we kept ourselves in the other part of the house.

DH Gary returned to work!! (Hooray!) and actually had a good day yesterday - we suspect he was far more bored then he realized and getting back out there and talking to folks helped. His black cotton masks we ordered from WalMart arrived last week so he feels more comfortable. The paper masks I had (years ago used as dust barriers) are just hot when worn for long. Routine of work for him will make us all feel better -
DD23 Carly started back with her online Grad classes. This summer term starts now through August. And the course load sounds insane- like, 'read 10 chapters a week, one test, one major project' all due by Sunday evening when the text books were not even posted until 7:00 last night. She immediately contacted a professional colleague who happens to have a few of the text books Carly needs so she can at least get started. Most of her evening was spent venting with her online cohort! lol She will survive.
I'm setting up again (just for today) in the DR in order to be on-call for the workers. I don't want them having to search for me upstairs in Linds' room on and off all day. I jokingly told Carly she should go study at the local library or Starbucks...oops, they are still closed! Thanks to COVID-19

Carole - I didn't see how your Sunday family time went? I know you felt emotional, as we ALL would have, with such changes this year including no pancake breakfast fundraiser, but overall, how did Eden and Jaclyn do? Were you allowed to give Eden her Easter basket? Did Kathy join you guys? Hope this sunshine finds its way towards you today! Sue - what a huge relief you can remove your mask at work. I really felt bad for you - I did order myself 2 of the masks you suggested from GrammiTammi on Etsy and they do feel more comfortable. My thought is we are going to be wearing masks far longer than folks would like and if not this summer than back at it this Fall. Just my thoughts. Glad Hannah did not lecture you for being a rebel on Sunday, but honestly, you were outdoors, and you were less than 10 in your group! Which is why our hiking trails and most parks are open. Yes, the water levels are WAY too high! Poor Cheryl, her family cottage smack on Lake Erie has lost it's beach front and their retaining wall has been eroded from high waters - they either find a special contractor to help rebuild the wall or tear down the cottage and build new. Problem is, the only way to reach it is by water - you walk down steep stairs from top of cliff down to the cottage...not safe to lug materials/blocks...Cheryl said, back in the 50s when they built it her father and husband had boats bring materials to the beach and they could stand on land. That area is all under water now. Gabrielle - hope today is a good day - are you able to rejoin the Track for a workout today? Our malls are not open yet, but any store with outdoor entrance can re-open. With our weather being so awful, doesn't look like many folks dashed out! Maybe today will be different - I know for us, I really want to order our new FR couch/love seat before things shut down again to a Red Phase. Jo - saw you pop in - HELLO!! Hope you had a good day yesterday Waves to our Jenny, Lisa, and Nadine - we know you are out there but terribly busy! Lisa, I hope your pulled muscle area is slowly healing (Ow!!!) and I will follow your advice being more mindful when gardening - I stirred up a nest for ground bees the other weekend but had covered their nest entrance with garden rocks inadvertently which, apparently took care of that problem.

Morning Christine and all to come...I slept great last night....dozed about 9:00pm in the recliner and woke at 10:20 and went into bed...didn't get up to pee until 4:38am...that NEVER happens! I was beginning to think my body had an internal clock that woke me at 2:30 every morning to go to the bathroom! LOL!
This will be the last chilly day for us....58° for a high but then....60's, 70's and maybe even an 80 by the weekend! YAY!! Finally!!
Need to pack my lunch and get moving...see you all after work!

Good morning!
Got up early for the TM....no Track Tuesday still. As a matter of a fact, nothing feels different now that we are in "Phase 2" except that you can buy flowers at a florist (which I don't often do). Busy, busy week...SO many meetings as the school year wraps up and our Supt decided that we need to do strategic planning...24 hours of Zoom over this week and next week and about 200 pages of reading. Fun times! That on top of all of the meetings, planning re-entry...means not a lot of sleep and constant work. Today's first Zoom is at 8:00 and the last one ends at 6:30. I have a 30 min break in there from 3-3:30. That's it. Uggh. Oh well, grateful for my job (I think).
Christine: Wow, it's amazing how much that handyman got done! I could use someone like that! Mostly it's things like the trim that never got finished, etc. So worth it! Glad to hear that Gary is back and feeling comfortable with his mask. I hope that the business begins to pick up and the economy begins some kind of recovery. Did he EVER get his unemployment? It seems like you waited so long! LOL, maybe Carly can just stay in her room today if she doesn't want to be around you working?? Hope that you have a good day and get the project done!
Sue: Wow, so glad that you got the mask thing figured out...that must have been miserable. I guess that now you will really have to be attentive to distancing? That is the big thing here--a lot of frustration that people (for whatever reason) are not wearing masks AND not distancing. So glad that Shea was with Hannah for Mother's Day! Hope that you have a good day.
Carole: Saw you pop in...hope that your internet is cooperating and work is going okay.
Jo: Saw you pop in as well--hello!
Okay, got to shower and finish my reading before 8:00....hello to Jenny, Shelly, Lisa, Nadine, and all who follow. Won't be back as I don't think I'll want to see another computer after 6:30, LOL. Have a good day!

Morning all
I must get on here quick because we've been so busy I couldn't get on to visit. My mom and dad and sister had a good time on Sunday for MD. Food was really good with the new smoker/grill and just visiting with each other was nice. We stayed 6ft away when you could but all in all it was a great day. It was around 75 degree's which is perfect. Today it's raining but at least will be getting up to 64 today. I'm at my old plant this week WWOW is training in a town near by so it's nice and quiet here. And, it only took me 20 min to work, I like that commute.
OK here comes the trucks must go for now I will CBL if I can
