From a WW Weekly: Mindfulness – being aware of your thoughts, feelings, and sensations in the moment, without judging them as good or bad. How are you doing practicing mindfulness?

I'm actually working on this through my meditation practice. It is relaxing not to do all the judging.

Not something I focus on at any given point in time. My husband is a BIG proponent of this idea and also emotional intelligence and has given numerous training courses on the subject. Ah well...

I’m usually aware of my feelings but I haven’t been able to be objective about them.

I try to do this all the time. It doesn't stop the emotional storms but I can get back to the harbor more quickly.

luvvinlife, Lately I've been able to talk back to my feelings, or just say "it's a feeling" and let it go.

luvvinlife, yes, being aware that it's a thought or a feeling in the first place is the big step in this process IMO.

It’s slowly beginning to paying off. bbbearsmom, It took 4 reviews for me to finally recognize that something needed a response. This last time I actually took that step and stopped justifying my Sabotaging Thoughts. I wonder what the next review will reveal? Hmmmm......
