I tuned out halfway through. Just was not feeling the episode. It was beautiful out and I used that time to go for a walk.

I had it running on FB while I was cleaning the bathroom <stop snickering, DebDoesWW ). "Re-LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-tion-ships". Like fingernails on a blackboard. The psychotherapist, ** Ass-TAIRE [O delighted in saying her name "the fancy way"] - who I don't think was ever CLEARLY identified so she could be found on-line - has her own methodology based on her "couples counseling" practice. Like any psych point of view, it's not for everybody - just as her tips are not for everybody. Listening to O <mmmMMMmmm'ing> or interrupting to interject some comment was distracting. Listening to O back-pedal when Esther did NOT "toe the Oprah line" about something Kate Hudson said last week was cute. I will continue to run 'em in the background while I get on with my life. ** I did figure out who she was and find her on-line: Belgian-born Esther Perel.

fullmahina, I've never related well to Oprah. As you said she's done a lot but it isn't to my taste. Might never forgive her for Dr. Oz.
