Let's do a daily post with just ONE THING we are grateful for. With everything that is going on, sometimes it is hard to remember to focus on the good things too. It can be funny, silly, serious, whatever, no judgements here.

I have one too. Unfortunately he keeps seeing his reflection in our high windows and attacking himself. Bang! I shake a broom at him (if I can catch him) and he gets the message for a day or two. Then he forgets and starts up again. My one thing: it's a dry heat. I'm in Cali but used to live in Minn. I remember those hot, humid nights all too well. Also it cools off here at night.

i'm grateful for my windows! they seem to keep the house tolerable without needing to turn on the A/C which is unfortunately broken at the moment anyway. i have found that as long as the temp doesn't go above 95, miraculously the house still feels comfortable. we are fortunate that once the sun goes down, i can then get a cross breeze from all the open windows to help cool it down a little more, in addition to our fans. thank goodness i had all the windows replaced when i moved in 3 and a half years ago.
