I pour it down the drains and follow with boiling water. Cleans and deoderizes.

DebDoesWW,
Do you put something else in the litter box beside baking soda? How much baking soda? Going to tell my daughter as she has cats. Thanks!😸

I use it for soaking produce to remove pesticides, I've used it for bug bites, and I've used it straight up for brushing my teeth. I have also used it for deodorizing rugs occasionally too.
I've also heard of using it in the litter box but I don't think I have used it for that. I should try it, especially after the litter box has been used for awhile but not ready to be totally cleaned out and replaced with new litter.

I have one open box in the refridgerator most of the time. It's also great for loosening dirt on the walls and floor (and I assume the "ceiling") of the dishwasher (add it to vinegar and run the dishwasher without any dishes in it).

I use a cup in my wash for those stinky workout clothes and I wash my hands with a paste of it when I've been peeling shrimp or working with fish. takes that smell out.

great ideas! i ran out of baking soda recently and was looking for it at the store the other day. maybe i was looking in the wrong place but i didn't find it (was checking near the oil and flour and other baking supplies). i don't buy it as often as i should so that must be why i'm not sure where in the grocery store to find it (usually just grab a box when i happen to see it).

Anyone know where they find baking soda at their store, I would think where Fin looked in the baking section? I don't buy it often, only for the refrigerator.

I use it for everything! -cleaner -laundry -with vinegar for the drains followed by boiling water -facial cleanser- not daily -deep scrub on hair to get residue out- follow by shampoo and then a conditioning rinse with AC vinegar- not daily. although there are people that use only that and not shampoo -carpets and furniture when I'm vacumming -drink a tiny bit with water when I don't have Tums available -brushing my teeth - pour into a book, let sit then shake out and dust off, if book is molding smelling -use it on pans that can't have soap- like cast iron or baking stones (the old pampered chef type) - bug bites - getting tough stains off of counters and out of bathtub -Fridge and also freezer (my freezer gets a funky smell for some reason) - put in shoes to get odor out
As you can tell I love baking soda and have several boxes at all times

I use it in place of stuff you sprinkle on the carpet and vacuum up. Sometimes I add essential oils (pet safe of course) to add a nice scent. I buy the BIG BAG of it at Sam's Club!
