It's strawberry time here in Michigan. We've been enjoying strawberry shortcake with angel food cake but I don't like to sweeten the strawberries with granulated sugar because of points and it's not healthy, so am looking for an artificial sugar that tastes good.
What kind of artificial sugar do you use and what foods do you use it for?

I like the erythritol and stevia blends like Natural Matรจ or Splenda Naturals.

Anything natural (no pink or blue packets, yellow is iffy). I like a brand called Whole Earth. It's a stevia and monkfruit blend. It doesn't leave a gross after taste like some stevia products do. wholeearthsweetener.com/

Fortunately the strawberries here have been sweet enough not to need anything but 2 tsp of unpacked light brown sugar is only 1 SP and goes a long way

Another vote for Whole Earth! It's my fav, but stevia alone is my next choice.

For something to just sprinkle over strawberries, I'd pick Truvia. I also prefer Truvia for things like cinnamon toast, and especially to sprinkle on crepes with lemon juice or cinnamon. Truvia (I just have the packets in this brand) has big crystals that look, and in my opinion taste, like real granulated sugar. For the cinnamon toast and crepes, that teeny bit of crunch is appealing.

Finreporter, you sound like me. I don't think I'd ever drink water if Mio didn't exist. I don't like diet coke, but I do like Coke Zero. I just can't drink fizzy stuff very often anymore. I use the yellow packets for coffee. But I'm always on the lookout for a natural alternative that tastes good. Sweet with no aftertaste. I'll try the Whole Earth if I can find it.
