Good morning.
Rained some last night, the wind has kicked up, about 30 some miles per hour. Clearing right now, but the weather geeks are saying more rain will come later this afternoon. High of 80.
Pinky, I hope you are not sick...….
Carol, that is funny, you mentioning about what day it is, as DH really has a hard time with that, me not too much, but when I wake up, I think to myself, Tuesday...no Monday! Lol.
It has been so long since we had DH parents around, I truly miss them, bless their hearts! DMIL had such a hard life, with having to deal with her mental issues, and DFIL leaving her. And I do understand why he did, because of her issues, life with her was so hard. Back when DH and I were dating and getting married, they were a fun couple.
Ha, that is an excellent comment, about 2015, and 5 years later! I am almost scared to think of how it will be 5 years from now!!!
Marsha, wow, that will be a drive, to go visit your son!
I had to chuckle when you said it is a residence requirement to live in GB, funny but also sad. I have heard through the years if you go to a game, as a fan of the visiting team, you are treated very good. Hope that still is true once fans finally get into the games, what with the high tempers in the country now.
I hope your DD gets out some time this morning, as the weather guy just said rain should be back around 3. (right when my sibs are due here).
Robin, good to see you back.
I hope we do not end up as your crazy sister clients! DH and I are sort of dreading this afternoon, with my siblings. So far these past months have surprised me as I thought DS would be the one quizzing me about DB money, but it was my DB, always questioning us, and my sister has not said a boo, except for the question way back when we sold the car, she wanted to know when she was getting her check. So we are expecting anything to happen or be said, this afternoon. I am happy DH thought to do it this way.
I had read the Address, awhile ago, I checked my library of books, and remember I loved it!
Gareth, for me, laundry is a never ending chore. I thought I had straightened DH out, about putting clothes in the wash that he just wore to an appointment, or something like that, but nope, he is still doing that, so I give up, guess I have to pick my battles with him.
How nice about your DS, and DGS! Too bad it worked out to be at the same time as the lawn guy, isn't that how it goes?!
I misquoted myself....sounds about normal, right? I am doing Blue. Funny, yesterday was one of those days that I was hungry all day. I was drinking so much water, I thought I was going to float away!
Anngie, sorry no help with the gas insert. We have an electric fireplace here. Years ago we had a wood burner, for heat, which I hated. That was back in the late 70's, and DH put it in, in the corner of the living room, supposedly for the main heating. It was awful. So I am happy with the electric, but that does not help you.
I will have to go on Overdrive and see if I can reserve that book, The Lions of Fifth Avenue. Thank you.
Our sound bar came yesterday, since Best Buy did not have them in stock, on Sunday. DH got it hooked up and what a difference, we are happy. We could not use our old one, as it was too big for the new TV. (Not enough room on the mantel, along with the TV.)
I did all the apartment cleaning yesterday, and kept my phone in my pocket the whole time, and I ended up doing over 6,000 steps! Good thing, as I was too tired to do any walking! Was happy DH ran over to our elderly friends house for the afternoon, so he was not underfoot, while I was cleaning.
Time for more coffee, have a nice day.
