Good morning all. Another restless night. LuLa had us both awake several times. She is not doing well. Not sure if she ate something on the ground. We will keep an eye on her today. Unfortunately our Vet is closed till Monday. Please keep her in your prayers. So hard dealing with an ill fur kid.......especially being sleep deprived.
Wishing you a good healthy safe and OP day.
Will try to pop in later.

Take care all xoxoxox

Good Morning, WW Friends ~ Happy Saturday! We have a beautiful 55 dg sunny morning. A little cool, but going up into the high 60's later on. Can't complain, because I love this weather and by mid week it will be 90 again which I do not love! So I better enjoy the coolness now. Ann ~ So sorry you are not feeling up to it today. Hopefully some R & R will perk you up!?! Take care!! Judy ~ I think you and I were posting at the same time yesterday and I wrote a rather lengthy post that I do not want to repeat here, so all of my "news" is on yesterday. Pam ~ Hope the news from your Camp was all good news. What's new on the raccoon front?? I ended up making supper last night. I had a quick, easy menu in my back pocket. DH got home while I was walking, and was in the shower when I came in. About the time I had supper warming up, he said "you know, we could have gone out tonight". So we settled on plans to go out tonight. We have quite a few Red Lobster gift cards, and would like to use some. Especially after the sad news about Ruby Tuesday closing abruptly! So we made a plan to skip lunch (he usually does anyway) and go for an early supper around 4-something. They shouldn't be crowded and we are looking forward to something we haven't had in a long time (like shrimp). We had Bagel Thins, banana and peanut butter this morning with some bacon. DH loves his bacon on Saturday and wakes up saying "bacon, bacon" until I LOL. Actually he put LF cream cheese on his, but I love peanut butter and banana together and the last two bananas needed to be eaten. I am off to walk this morning. BBL. Make a great day!!

Hi all,
Just a quick check in! We made it to the Cape and it’s a lovely day-dry, warm and sunny. I read my book under the umbrella on the patio today. We had a repeat of lobster rolls and fried clams tonight. I surely cannot out-walk the mouth! 🤣
Sue, glad you had fun out with your friend and sorry about Ruby Tuesday’s closing. Maybe you can use it at another franchise. We have a gift card to a local Mexican place that also just closed. 😟. Oh, and the recipe was called Veggie Egg Cups for 3 pts each on the WW website. If you can’t find it, I will send it. I didn’t use the same ingredients- I used of cheddar and broccoli and not feta. Think you can use whatever you want or have on hand. We had them again today.
Ann, I am so sorry LuLa is not feeling well. Don’t you wish they could tell us what’s bothering them? Hope you feel better, too!
Off to ukulele singalong! Bbl

Good evening!
It's been a long day. I got up at 7:00 and got in my walk and a breakfast of yogurt, pineapple & seeds. Then DH and I started putting up corn. He picked most of it yesterday, the rest this morning. Then he shucked, I scrubbed off silk and we both cut it off the cob and I packaged it for the freezer. With a short lunch break, we put up 25 qts. and 10 pts. and then cleaned up all the mess. It was about 3:00 pm when we finished. Lord knows if we would have survived a full term, undamaged crop! After resting a while, I delivered corn to Dee, my DB, and the two neighbors who cat-sit for us from time to time. While I was doing that, DH peeled and de-veined shrimp. I made dinner from a Skinny Taste recipe for shrimp, zucchini and tomatoes (https://www.skinnytaste.com/shrimp-and-zucchini-with-bowties-in/). It came out great, even though I forgot to add any parsley or Italian seasoning. If I had only had some whole wheat bow-tie pasta, it would have been nearly zero points. I did add a splash of Chardonnay which didn't hurt the flavor. We only had grated Parmesan & Three Cheese Blend to add, but it worked. DH had seconds, so I think it came out good, lol.
Now I'm ready for a shower and jammies. I finished The Weight of Ink with an hour or so to spare. It was okay, but was one of those books with way too many words for the story line. I'd give it 3 stars. My new book is a Julie Garwood called Wire and I like it so far. My audio book is Barbara Delinsky's Family Tree and is good, if you can stomach anything else on race right now.
Sue - Maybe you could sell/gift your Ruby Tuesday gift card to someone in an area that still has one, if you can't find another near you that's still open. They have closed lots of franchises over the past couple years, so better act fast.
Ann - I hope Ms. LuLa is doing better. I know she is your "baby". I know you enjoyed your restful, "unplugged" day.
Judy - Your day at the Cape sounds perfect!
Hitting the shower now.
