You’re up early, Karen. Yes, the shelves are up. He may see his DB tomorrow. I have already lectured him. No restaurant. No hugs. No kisses. Mask. I refused to have him in the house. I suggested the patio. We’ll see. What did you have from Salsaritas? That is too bad about the wifi. Just when you got used to streaming again... Good luck with the house. You might as well be up front with the inspections, then if someone makes an offer you know they are serious.
Linda, cute, happy picture. I love my recumbent bike. Between allergies and bad weather, outdoors is sometimes not an option, Do you have a circular house design? You could do circuits around the house with music blaring. Teddy used to do the circuits with me. Probably a good thing the museum and senior citizens center are not open.
Becky, I am sure with no meetings and no on site sale of products, revenue must be down for WW. Still they do a lot online now. I hope you get your free months. I hope they extend your PT sessions so you can get full bend and straightness of the knee.
Kathy, our county and city are trending a little up. We’ll see in a week what happens after all the protests. Good thing the large gathering will be so far away, but those folks will be taking back whatever they catch to their home.
Denise, Liz, have a good weekend off.
We will be going to Second Street Market later this morning. I hope they have strawberries this week.

Kathy, do you have a rainy day? Covid numbers are climbing everywhere here as well and in most of the South. So much for the virus disappearing when warm weather hit. It would be nice to know how close within your zip code the cases are. We don't even have it available at zip code level, just county. So we have no clue which part of the county may be increasing faster or if it's widespread. Both Knoxville and Nashville have postponed moving to the next phase due to rising numbers. I don't know that it will be much help if numbers are going up this fast where we are. Nice that you live so far from Jacksonville but I hate it for the folks there. You know the conditions for moving there included no masks and no social distancing, so if you think the cases are climbing now, just wait. Just like it will probably be for us and the county fair. I, too, hope we can get the internet working soon. It's barely dial up speed right now. Hopefully it's good that people are interested in the house. It just takes the right buyer. The location is outstanding, as is the floor plan. They just have to look past what the previous tenants did and didn't do but should have. How does your garden grow, Chele? Were you pleased with the plants you ordered online? How was Second Street this morning? Did you find strawberries? Were the customers behaving themselves today? Is Iggy seeing DB on his own tomorrow? I hope he heeds your advice. I got the shrimp bowl with extra fajita veggies, black beans, and Mexican rice at Salsaritas. I will have the other half for dinner tonight. It's a massive portion. I had the same thought on sharing the inspections and knowing it's a serious offer. Someone did schedule a second showing so that seemed positive. We are still able to stream--kind of. There is a lot of buffering, so we are mainly streaming things we can control the playback on so we aren't missing gaps of a program. We should have the other wifi on Tuesday or Wednesday, so we'll put up with what we have for now, since it's on a 10 day trial anyway and the company has yet to respond to our request for info on how to send it back. Yes, next week should be a telling week for covid across the country with all the protests. And then Trump has his big rally in Tulsa on Friday, so we'll have to see how bad it gets there a couple of weeks later. They are already experiencing a spike, so 20K people without social distancing or masks is bound to cause spread. And, can you believe they are making rally goers sign a waiver not to hold him responsible if they get sick there? That tells me that he knows good and well it's still a huge problem but has chosen to otherwise ignore it. Becky, that's cool that you had a PT yesterday who hadn't seen you for a while so she could see your progress. Do you think they will keep you in PT until you get all 6 inches back on your angle? What confusing WW emails! Is there a way you can look at your account to see if the extension is there? I know it's so much easier when people in the same house eat the same things, Linda. Could you make some modifications to your hamburger or hot dog and not have the bun? Desserts and sweets are a definite killer. Could you just have fruit and get the sweet craving handled without the extra calories and fat? Junk carbs are everywhere, sometimes even hiding in things that seem healthy. I have a gel padded bike seat cover on mine and don't have issues with numb butt, unless I'm on there for an hour, which is pretty rare. Not surprised they are pulling back on reopenings, given what I heard last night. Y'all have a mess out there. I always thought quokkas were adorable!! How can you be in a bad mood seeing that little face smiling back at you? Liz, how was the week? Do you have the normal errands on the weekend agenda? I hope you have beautiful weather this weekend. How are your plants doing, Denise? I have a ton of tomato buds on my plants but only about 4 tomatoes coming along at the moment. Arya had us up earlier than usual this morning and out for a bathroom trip. Then she laid a pile on one of the throw rugs while I was doing a mini-purge in the pantry. She hasn't eaten breakfast and her little tummy is growling up a storm. She must have eaten something she shouldn't have. I changed the bed and put on a new lightweight quilt that I hope will be more comfortable in the warmer weather. Three loads of laundry done, including rugs of course. Did some time on the treadmill. We have a beautiful day with mid 70s right now. Maybe we'll sit outside a little and read. Happy weekend, Chicks!

texasless91,MY plants are doing pretty good. My cucumbers are doing and so are my yellow beans potatoes rosemary and peanuts. Don't know how the peanuts will do but I always like to try something really different. I tried growing an avocado tree from the avocado pit and it grew a little and got leaves on it and it was in a small pot then it died but that's ok it was fun experimenting. I like to grow yellow beans cause I never find yellow beans in the grocery store anymore just green beans I guess everyone likes green beans more

nybuckeye,Thanks for wishing me a good weekend off hope you find a lot of good stuff at the market. I bought strawberries and Kroger this morning only 1.88 for 2 lbs thought that was a pretty good price. I love white flesh nectarines and rainier cherries . Our local mich strawberries will be coming in soon. I always go out and pick my own at the pick your own farm but with this covid thing I don't know if they'll have it.

moonriver, Denise, that is a good buy at Kroger. We found some local strawberries at the market. They are smaller than what you find at Kroger but packed full of flavor. I am too lazy to pick my own. Have fun if you find a spot. Karen, Iggy is in his own visiting with his DB. Their DM confirmed my suspicions that BIL thinks COVID is a bad flu and she warned Iggy not to get close. The shrimp bowl sounds good. Mmmm good. Besides the strawberries we found arugula, butter lettuce, tomatoes, purple radishes, salad turnips. carrots and S.Carolina cling peaches. We saw one vendor without a mask but everyone else had one on. The tomatoes are flowering and the herbs are flourishing. The green beans are growing. The peppers are doing what our peppers normally do. Hardly anything. Next year we are putting them in pots. We have one lone sweet hot pepper growing and teeny buds on the others. I read about Tulsa and the health release people must sign. Sigh. Has Arya recovered from her tummy upset? It was spritzing rain this morning but is much cooler. 2:30 pm and only 67° and the sun is peeking through the clouds. I have pizza dough in the bread machine for veggie pizza tomorrow. Iggy is making himself a pot roast today with mashed potatoes. No taters with the roast. Not how I would do it but vegetarians cannot dictate choice of veggies to a carnivore. Have a good Saturday.

While I was making the pizza dough, Iggy decided to organize the shelves in the garage since he moved some stuff to the shed. Guess what he found? Ammonia, 409 cleaning spray and a big container of Lysol wipes! Woo Hoo! He also found a hardware store’s amount of materials to hang pictures. I have been told next time we want to hang something to tell him to go shopping in the garage.

woohoo...great find, Chele. Hope IGGy is careful.
everybody's veggies but mine are great, my tomatoes never bloomed! They do not lack sun, fertilizer or water. Normally they just would not set fruit. Thinking I should trim them 2/3 while it is so hot.
Got out to a six foot flower edge and cleaned out half a trash bag of weeds leaves yard guys have blown under my larger flowers.old guys blew so hard the top soil went, and these are not bending over or trying in those areas. Bimonthly Yard maintenance is essential power trim, lawn Mow, blow, and go! That trim is not good for shrubs ,but we cannot go out in sun and do it,
I moved the two tall chrysanthemums that we’re supposedLy dwarf to the back so the geraniums could be seen. Need to put some vinca survivors in there before sun shifts south and bakes the geraniums. Plant place outside is one of few places I can go. AZ leads nation in spiking cases..,people just will not follow guidelines.
felt good to be out in shade even if I got a bit too hot and had to quit . Mood us much better when I can get outside. Highs averaging 107 this week. But last couple years the last two weeks of June have been 112-118! Glad it is not that.

Chele, they said most of our increase was in the 20-35 age group which might explain why our hospital numbers haven't gone up too much. The convention will have people from every state, so you're right that they'll be bringing it back home. I don't have a circular house plan, so I do laps back and forth from the family room through the kitchen and to the living room and entry way. Sounds like a good haul from the market and nice that almost everyone was wearing a mask. You hit the jackpot on the cleaning supplies!
Karen, it looks like rain, but we haven't gotten any yet. I hate it for Jacksonville too. Their numbers have been lower than the other metro areas in Florida so far. I'm also thinking of the delegates that will come from each state and then go home. Seems like a great year to do the conventions virtually since there's no question on the nominees, but he must have his rallies. I haven't heard what the Democrats are doing. Biden can broadcast from his basement as far as I'm concerned! I was really hoping we'd get a break this summer, but it doesn't look like it. Would love to have a shrimp bowl like that tonight! That sounds like my kind of restaurant. I read where the Zellwood corn is non-GMO, but there is only one farm left that grows it and they don't sell much outside of Florida.
Denise, that's a great price on strawberries. The Rainier cherries are always a special treat each year. I had a variety of them last year that was pink and they were also very good. I see the yellow beans here sometimes, but not as much as the green.
Linda, I don't even try to grow veggies here. Too many bugs and pesticides around. The AZ numbers are getting scary. I saw something that said if everyone would wear masks, we could really bring the numbers down. A clothing store owner here got into some fights with her customers over masks. She had a sign up saying masks were required and had free masks available if people didn't have them. They still wanted to argue with her and she got nasty comments on her website.
Waving to Becky and Liz. Hope you're having a good weekend.

Thanks for the start Karen. Chele I don't blame you for not wanting Iggy's DB in the house.WW actually sent the 2 free months to a different email and it wasn't for my current account.I saw where my subscription is up on the 29th so I cancelled and they offered my 2 free months on that one so I took it.Thanks.I hope the insurance will extend my PT as well.I hope you found something good at the market. Karen I didn't get the initial WW offer because it was on a cancelled account but when I cancelled my current account they gave me the 2 months anyway.I looked and my next payment isn't due until August now.I don't know how long Humana will extend my PT but since I have scoliosis I may not get the proper bend and straightening. Chele You made a good haul at the market.Glad Iggy found cleaning supplies in the garage. A friend came out to get our bull to take to the auction barn today.Nobody but big buyers can attend the auction and our bull was old and wasn't able to attend to business anymore.Anyway he came bearing gifts. He brought some homegrown tomatoes,a bunch of cucumbers for me,yellow squash and a yellow meat watermelon. The melon didn't have a good chance to ripen enough so we may get rid of it tomorrow to make room in the fridge.Kenneth says the tomatoes are good and the cucumbers are really good. moonriver Denise enjoy the rest of your weekend. Waves to Kathy,Linda and Liz.

kaycee,I hope my yellow beans will grow good. How are things in Florida with the covid thing? Were opening up hair salons here in mich on mon along with nail salons too. Our governor has taken it real slow on reopening things I guess its better to be safe than sorry. I have a friend that lives in Jacksonville. I live around the Detroit area in mich I also border Canada too. I miss going over to Windsor Ontario to gamble the casinos will probably be the last thing to open here.

You did quite well at the market, Chele. CSA didn't have Hakurei turnips this week, so fingers crossed for next week and I'm envious of your salad turnips. I had some for lunch today with hummus and they were so good. I agree with you on the roast, but it should have had both potatoes and carrots. We used to have that every Sunday after church when I was growing up. We would put it in the oven right before we left for Sunday school and it was nicely done by the time we got home. I got some SC cling peaches on my way home Thursday and they are really sweet but extemely messy. Your back yard veggies seem to be doing well. My peppers sound like yours--just a couple of blooms, but that's more than the eggplant has. Things have been doing pretty well container growing this year--no weeds. Just need watered more often. Enjoy your pizza. MAJOR score on the cleaning products! Shopping in the garage is a win! Good luck to Iggy tomorrow while visiting with his DB. Where are they planning to go? Linda, you were busy as usual! I don't know how you do it in the heat! Did you manage to stay away from refined carbs and sweets today? I like to experiment in the garden, too, Denise. This year I got an Indigo Apple tomato and it has lots of blooms so fingers crossed it will fruit. I also like yellow (wax) beans and our local grocery stores don't carry them. I never tried growing peanuts, but I am trying to get an avocado pit to root. WOW on the strawberries. That's an amazing price! Like Kathy, I am a fan of Rainier cherries. Your governor is a smart lady. I wish we had taken it a bit slower but many people around her just aren't taking it seriously. Becky, it was nice of your friend to bring produce. If you need to make room in the fridge for the watermelon, how about putting it through the blender and making juice? It's so refreshing on a hot day. It's good that you got the WW offer. Looks like Jacksonville will have a chance to catch up on covid cases in August, Kathy. I agree about virtual conventions and I'll bet Biden does it that way. But, as you said, Trump thrives on his crowds. If you have a Salsarita's I would recommend the Shrimp Burrito Bowl. You get to customize your beans, rice, extra protein (at a cost), and toppings. I think it cost about $11 and I got 2 good-sized meals out of it, so definitely worth the price. I guess you explained why I've never heard of Zellwood corn. I hope the Rainier cherries will be in the stores soon. I read a good article in The Atlantic called The Virus Will Win. Kind of sobering, but, sadly, I think the guy is spot on. Cases in Sevier County increased more than in Knox County today. Up another 10% since yesterday and 154% in the last 10 days. That all can't be blamed on increased testing because that's stayng about the same. We plan to continue staying home as much as humanly possible.

Karen The melon is yellow meat so I don't think it will make good juice. It just needed to ripen but he knows I like the yellow meat ones so he brought it along.
I just found out a married couple from church have tested positive for Covid. I don't ever remember seeing the wife in church but he was in church last week when we were there. We had already decided last week not to go back until they could open services up more and now I'm glad we did.I think the man is probably in his late 60's and they said he wore a mask in and out but took it off while in church.I think everyone did.He isn't showing any symptoms but his wife has pneumonia. They live in Bastrop so they may have gotten it there somewhere. I'm glad he called the pastor so people could decide whether to continue to come to church.

Why would you wear the mask in then take it off? Or would they not let him in?
I read the Atlantic article too off a Facebook..,sad and true.
