Good Morning ~ the SUN is out but chilly temps (40s) out there - I think our Gabrielle sent her cooler temps all the way here Slept well last night, again, so not complaining. Yesterday was a good day - did some gardening, ran to Lowe's for a few more bags of mulch and topsoil, and splurged on an Umbrella for our deck table Might string some lights under it - it's a bright blue/green/white pattern which I thought would be perfect to add color back there - everything is so brown and beige lol After I dropped everything off at the house I picked up Cheryl and we did a Drive-Thru for turkey burgers. Found a picnic table in the SUN out on the Peninsula but ohh was it windy and cool. If the wind didn't blow it would have been perfect but that made it chilly. Still, it was good to visit outside in a park like setting I was going to sit out on her deck with her to continue visiting but I was TIRED by that time. Begged off and came home to take a nap but that didn't happen! As soon as I lay down my cell phone rang who CALLS anymore? It was Lindsey...she received her ACCEPTANCE LETTER to Grad School!!! Whoo Hooo!!!! So relieved this Girl can feel like she has something to look forward to! A Plan is in place!!

Good morning from chilly California!
So Christine, we didn't SEND you our cold weather, we SHARED it with you, LOL. So odd to have it be this cold...as long as it is sunny later though, I am fine with it. Leaving in a bit for my long run so need to make this short, but I will be back later. I am glad to see that Carole's window did get finished, Linds is headed to grad school (YAHOO!!), Audrey did SO well in school, and Sue had a good road trip....I promise to be back!
Have a nice morning ladies!

Chatted a bit with DH, waiting to flip laundry, and had some fresh watermelon with my coffee - I feel caught up here too If you sit in the direct sunlight it's beautiful. So I'm on my front porch enjoying the birds and warm sun Carole - the new Window looks wonderful! So glad it's what you had hoped for!! I also caught a few pictures of last night's Relay for Life at your sisters' house - very nice...Did many folks acknowledge your Team? Did they honk driving by or stop to offer a donation? I'm not sure how it works...did others stop by too or was it just your family and Sisters? I'm betting you had a good night weather wise - maybe chilly but at least no rain this year! I was checking on Orlando, FL weather (as this week would have been our rescheduled Trip) and sure enough, RAIN ever day. Not just a passing cloud, but 2-4 inches of flooding rains, 80% daily through next Thursday!! So So glad we are not there. I could not have handled another Disney vacation with that much rain daily and not able to enjoy the Florida sun which is also why we head down there. Wow. Sue - glad you could get outta town! Hoping just being together is soothing and FUN! Yesterday the Gov. announced our County is NOT to turn Green yet. So many folks are beyond frustrated! But, we have had an increase daily of COVID 19 as well as increase in deaths. Just no where near what larger cities or larger counties have had and THEY are permitted to turn Green. Indeed frustrating. Jenny - no! I'm sorry to read you also had a horrible frustrating week. Not fair! How is your back feeling now? Are you able to be OFF on Monday or did they request you no longer follow that schedule? I tweaked my back pretty good last Tuesday - but oddly it helped to walk! I also have returned to my stretches. Yesterday it was 'better' - I did do some raking and sat and pulled weeds but stopped before over-doing it. Baby Steps, right. Congrats on another pound DOWN!! Whoo Hoo!! Jo - hoping your Friday was better than earlier this week I saw the picture on FB of Em's high school diploma - VERY nice!! We told Lindsey when she got accepted into Grad School we would buy her a new laptop - well, she's gotta get shopping for it!! lol Her laptop she bought with her HS grad money no longer has all the keys working...but she pushed through her last semester with it! We did mention an Apple MAC that Carly bought herself - apparently a lot of professional students such as Law School and Med School declare it 'a must have' but Lindsey so far has frowned on that - you know, Linds, forever the rebel and determined to not follow the crowd LOL We will see what she decides...How's Steve's back? Gary swears his easily tweaks doing the most tiny job around here which I laugh as I'M the ONE with the bulging discs and inflammation yet I'm the one doing all the yard work and activity. But, I honestly wouldn't have it any other way I do love being outside... Shelly - shout out to you during this weekend - HOORAY for the impromptu road trip to go see the Grands!!! Yay!! So happy you just did it! Eager to hear next week how it all goes... Okay, need to water my new planted grass - still hopeful some grass will grow LOL

Good morning! surprisingly the week went fast even though I had to get new tires on Thursday. I had one plugged recently and was told to get new ones at next oil change, but when the tire pressure light was on Thursday morning when I got in my car, I went straight to the tire place and went ahead and got 4 new ones, still about $100 cheaper than the dealer was going to charge.
Christine-thanks for starting us off today. Sounds like you got a LOT done yesterday in the garden/outdoors. The umbrella sounds great too. So glad that Linds got into grad school.
Gabrielle-thanks for sending some of that cooler weather this way. I am going for a walk in a bit - I did once around the block yesterday so may go a little further today. I'm also doing stretching exercises to try and rehab my pulled muscle.
Sue-so glad that you ended up not having to work on Friday!
Jo-saw Em's graduation pics on FB - congrats!

Jenny-I so feel for you with the pulled back muscle after going through my own pulled muscle experience. Sorry for tech problems that is so frustrating. But good report on Audrey's grades. Hope you can relax this weekend.
Carol-loved the luminaries pic on FB! and glad that your window got installed and you are pleased with it.
Shelly-glad that you are able to get away this weekend.
It is Greg's Saturday to work. Business has been picking up at the car dealership he says.
I got on the scale and I'm about the same as pre-bee encounter so I'll consider that good and start from here.
Going to have some Light and Fit yogurt then off for my walk. Have a great day and waves to all!
