Move IT Monday went "OK"... I got 6 out of 10 dots, and about 5k steps... it was a rough day. Left the computer and headed to the shower... didn't make it... just sat back down, emailed Crystal and took the day off! I was pretty much a mess all day! I don't even know what prompted it all - but my guess would be between Friday night, then the weird dream about Matt, then waking up thinking about him, and planning more things without him.
I ended up back in bed for a while (Watching DVDs) then sat in the yard... got a few things done - but mostly just "sat"! I was on and off the computer - but nothing help my attention... I did get the fridge freezer section emptied... tossed a LOT of outdated stuff, and found room in the big freezer for the rest. Friday THAT freezer will be emptied and defrosted and re-organized!!
The fridge is almost empty... one cooler is out on the back porch! Figured it was going to be COLD overnight (40s) that it may as well sit outside for the night!
The rest will be emptied this morning - and Ken can disconnect the water - so it is ready to go! The delivery window is 7 AM - 11 AM... we'll see! LOL Hope it is NOT 7 AM! I will NOT be "ready"! Hoping it is earlier though, so Tracy can get to bed before too long this morning. She worked 11 PM last night!
We had leftovers for dinner - not the most WW friendly, but tracked and EH, not the end of the world either! Lunch was one of my jar salads I had left from last week, so I had plnty of points for dinner!

Good Morning ~ the sun should be bright all day and hopefully, fingers crossed, we hit the 70s - the last few days of cool 60s and wind (yes, the winds came back strong) has been irritating~
Today I work at the office. I think DH wishes I would work there on Wednesday too - which is what I thought I could do too, but the Prince was acting weird about it last week thanks, I'm sure, to DL who loves to parade around the building loudly (never EVER see her wear a mask) and proclaim her control over all. Eye Roll Here. Gary is off on Wednesdays, and I agree, there's something therapeutic about having the entire house to your self. I'll see what projects I have going today that might give reason for me to return there tomorrow.
Good news - my hair stylist realizes that since we are STILL in the Yellow here and she STILL cannot reopen - and we suspect even if we were declared Green her immune system has been compromised and she probably should NOT be around the public even with all of us wearing masks, she has offered to mix my hair color formula and have Carly put it on for me! HOORAY - I took a picture of my hair - she could not believe how long and grown out it has gotten - not sure why she was so surprised - my appointment was for March 21 a few days after our Governor shut down non-essential businesses - so yes, I'm a mess here LOL Ashley said this Wednesday she will have the color ready but I will have to use it within an hour of picking it up! So I'm trying to make sure Carly's schedule is open too - I thought I could just do it myself but Ashley was insistent that someone else needs to help - What do I know?

Gabrielle: Good job getting on the TM yesterday - way to get your head together before heading to the dentist!! How did that go?? I don't think dentists are open up here yet. Maybe they are, my appointment isn't until July, so hopefully they will be all back on track by then! At least I have my appointment! Yes MA'am, pat yourself on the back... we know the TM is not your "favorite" form of exercise!
LOL Yes, today is new fridge day... and I hope I am "ready"! Yes, emptying is certainly different than "Cleaning" it! I threw a lot out, shhh, don't tell Ken... Ah yes, I am happy with the outside look of the window too - it is not quite as I expected... but that was my misunderstanding... from knowing my aunt's OLD Bay window... I was just assuming that was what we were getting - not anyone's "fault", just my misconception of what I was hearing... no biggie - we do like it! But - I was washing the middle window and it has a ding in it! Nothing I can SEE, but I "felt" it when washing it... I will call and report it - just so they know, but I honestly don't think it warrants replacing... but I want them to know. Just in case something comes of it down the road! It has lifetime warranty so there won't be an issue, but I don't see a need to replace it now. Yes, I do believe this pandemic, the unknown, the guidance (that changes daily) has made a lot of people feel "off"... without even knowing they ARE feeling off! I do think this has added to my feelings as well.
Oh dear... I do hope your niece is being careful about her shower... but shower of not, I say still go to SO CAL and visit your sister!! Drop gifts off before or after the shower - then just enjoy being away for a few days!!
Sue: YAY for FT with Hannah and the boys! ♥ I have since talked with yet another person from the roof company - pretty much told him the same darned things I had already shared with 2 others... so he is sending a gift card - to ease some of the inconveniences we have endured over the roofing! HA! Whatever - it might be enough to buy a new light for the back porch and a new piece of lumber for the broken post out front... we'll see!
Woo hoo for all your water last week! HA! Yeah - you worked how many weeks before masks were "mandatory"?? I am not on board that these masks are the end all of this virus, but instead we need to use common sense... which I know... is not easy for some folks - but Gosh, we gotta start moving forward!!
Christine: Hope you found some way to MOVE IT MONDAY... we got up to mid 70s yesterday, but was truly only "warm" if I was IN the sunshine. Sitting on the porch out of the sun - with the breeze was chilly! Thankfully we only had "breezes" not WINDS! Yikes! LOL Yes, that's why I was outside more than inside yesterday - house was COLD! Good luck getting parents onboard with testing this summer!
Sue: LOL Yes, but these three knew JUST what they were doing - and I am glad there was NOT a crew of 6... they would have been in each other's way! UGH We can still only eat where there is outside dining. SO many places have had to buy all new tables, chairs, umbrellas - to set up in the parking lots! I wish Tracy's surgery the end of the month was OUT of MA! UGH - This is getting to me (again/still).
Oh dear... well glad you saw your DSKris, sorry she is so draining... ummm, yeah... new tats and piercings, but not paying bills... how does she think they will get paid?? I guess she doesn't care... that would haunt me forever! Then again I am not a tattoo person either - so I guess I just don't get it!?
Most of our yard gets done with the rider, even more will be done with that after the landscaping - but he still has about 40 minutes of mowing around trees and the pool, etc., which also may go down once the yard is done - but Eh, he still deserves a mower that he lies! Yes Sue - I believe that everything just kind of "hit the fan" for me this weekend... feeling much better today!
Yummm lasagna for you too - I might have to make that this weekend! LOL You girls have me wanting it! O h I know... I seriously DOUBT that the Big E will open, but until they "call it" I won't say they won't open! LOL They are having a drive through "Taste of the Big E" the end of the month - with several of the food vendors set up... call ahead, drive through - pick up - sectioned off areas for parking and getting out to sit and eat... we'll see - we may go down for that! They won't even say WHEN they have to make the final decision... the CEO was on the news last night - they are still planning on how it could be done... so time will tell I guess!
LOL No - I had finished the pool deck power washing... the deck, the fencing - all that up there around the pool... now the patio is done as well! I will still be off that Friday... so we will head down Wednesday after work - to the hotel, surgery is Thursday (still no time given) and then just relax at the hotel that day as well, and come home Friday. Hope to hit the Outlet Stores on the way home, but it will depend on the day... the weather... how Tracy is doing... and how far out of the way it will be. Then we will have Saturday and Sunday to kick back here at home!
Oh Sue... glad you can go in for another day this week... yeah being at their beck and call would not be fun - but you are right, not having to pay the COBRA is a benefit to it! Hang in there... Hmmm, yeah, not sure how I'd feel about going itl PF, but then again I am no gym rat! LOL
Shelly: OH NO! Ouch - sorry for the infection and then having to do the COVID Test too! Yikes... well, OK - hey you are getting some rest, anyway - right?? UGH and yu were just with all your family... is anyone else sick? I hope all these symptoms are simply the kidney infection! PLEASE Keep us posted!! STAY IN BED and get your rest!!

Carole - I am sorry you had a rough day emotionally yesterday - but don't beat yourself up! It was to be expected - lots of memories and lingering thoughts going on for you and I'm sure it was all just weighing heavy. It's hard. I really do know how hard but don't ever feel guilty for taking care of your self. I'm very proud of you for seeing that you need that time to just exist. HUGS to you as you HEAL...♥
Sue - glad you are back, feel organized at home, and can be ready to face the unexpected call to report today. Sigh. It does feel a little unfair, doesn't it, that HR will just call you back on a whim - but yes, see the good in it of not having to pay for COBRA just yet...while you are there today can you 'feel them out' as to what's going on with your position?
Gabrielle - I meant to reach out to you yesterday - EXACTLY - you described exactly how I too was feeling near end of May. Like I was just losing it over WHAT?? I couldn't figure out why, suddenly or gradually, I was starting to feel so out of sorts! Stress? It was the only thing I could put my finger on - as if our lives are in such a holding pattern and routine is really feeling closed in - I really hope the weather improves for you to FEEL more balanced with other things that bring us smiles. Any news about the Shower?
Shelly - oh no! I am so sorry to read how awful you feel and I really really hope it's just a kidney infection. SORRY!!! Did it hit while you were on your trip or just when you returned? Don't feel obligated to get on here but do drop us a short line to let us know the results of the COVID testing!!

Good Morning! Doing ok here. Its cooling off some so we have been leaving the windows open. It feels good. I'm starting to feel foggy headed. I'm forgetting things. I tell my family something multiple times. The Estroven I'm taking doesnt seem tp be helping with the menopause brain. This is only my 2nd month taking it though. I helped Emilie dye her hair black. It actually looks good. It has brown highlights. It's not as dark as she wanted.
It was a rough weekend with Steve and I arguing most of it. He is so hard headed sometimes!

Shelly, so sorry you feel so bad. Get well soon. Rest up.
Carole, thanks for starting us. So sorry for the emotional day yesterday. Good for you for taking the day off. I've come to enjoy the dreams of loved ones passed. It is definitely hard. Glad you took some time for you. I thought the fridge wad coming last week?
Christine, you are right about being home alone. Steve took Emilie to orientation yesterday for her college and that 2 hours were bliss even if I was working. Hope it warns up, up there. Our vacation is ago. My oldest sister that lives up there. Diane is going to commute back and forth.
Gabrielle, nice you could clear your head on tread mill.

Gabrielle, sounds like you are right about the Shower for your niece. I hope it's not as bad as you and your sister suspect. Sounds like you need a good nights sleep.
Sue,Yay for a good night sleep and sleeping in! Your cauliflower look beautiful. Wow, you don't see ones that size in grocery stores. Yes I wish the MRI was yesterday! but Friday will do. It can't come soon enough for me.
Well got to do some work. Waves to everyone.

Good morning! I took time to enjoy my coffee this morning and now I'm up and going. Going on a bike ride while it's nice and cool. Tomorrow the temps go near 90 again. Still feeling bored but also feeling that now isn't the right time to put myself on the available list and that one of my potential summer/fall assignments put in a request for me at the appropriate time. Everything usually works out.
Carole-thanks for starting us today. Your dinner looks like what I've got planned for us tonight. I think those emotional times actually help us grieve. I hope that your new refrigerator gets delivered and all goes well.
Christine-it's great that your hairdresser is making the color for you, and I think I'd take her advice and have someone help you with it. I've decided to let mine go gray/white/whatever. I'm starting to wonder if I can put up with longer hair with the hot weather but I'm not ready to give up yet.
Sue-glad you made it home safely and sorry that you got called to work right away - I hope it's not too bad. Your FB pictures of your garden almost look more like a farm!
Shelly-so sorry that you are feeling so sick. I hope they find out what's wrong and that you feel better soon.
Jo-I have those periods of brain fog and I can't explain them other than my mind might be on overload.

Had to go back to move it Monday to reread posts...
Gabrielle-I went to the dentist yesterday too. Actually the peridontist. Waited in the car to come into the building, answered health questions again, of course mask and hand sanitizer and hygienist had face shield and hair net. I was told that they can't use the device that usually softens the plaque on teeth first because of things it can produce in air so I got an old fashioned teeth cleaning with the hook type instruments. 45 minutes and I was done - I think right now they are just trying to catch up on basic services. Oh yes I also had some kind of eye protection heavy plastic that they must clean and reuse. But felt very safe. Hope you are feeling less tired today. Sometimes if I have coffee late in the day I can't sleep and then I'm dragging the next day.
Jenny-how are you doing? Hope you have a good day.
I may wonder out to the mall. It opens at 11 and JC Penney reopened today. I should have an order there.
Greg and I Facetimed with Julie on Sunday. Avery is going to be a bigger girl than Kennedy I think, but she still has her days and nights mixed up. I asked Julie to let us know when it was safe to come to Chicago to visit. She said that one of the peaceful protests passed at the end of their street.
Waving to all - want to get outside and enjoy the lovely weather.
