Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
My neighbor is getting AC installed and they are going to be working on the side of her house next to my driveway . I needed to move my car to the street, so I decided to get my walk in early today. Beautiful morning.
I have my VM today. Had a -0.8 loss so I’m heading back in the right direction. Planning my meals is helping.
Laundry on today’s agenda. Think I’ll wear capris to work today.
Enjoy your day

Joyce, nice to get your walk in early. I haven’t been walking but doing an exercise DVD and the exercises/stretches for my knees. I really do a double set of knee exercises because I do the same exercise for both knees. So far the left knee isn’t bothering me but figure it might start at some point. Capris sound like a nice choice for work.
Waving to Ruth. Did you pick up Mara last night or this morning?
I’m heading out to lunch with my church friends. Actually it is in backyard of one of my friends. We all bring our own lunch and just sit and visit, so good to see people. She lives on a busy street but has a 6 foot stockade fence around the back yard. It is private and helps with the street noise. The only time of the day my deck is in the sun is midday so it is difficult for me to have the group outside unless we all want to sit in the sun. I did get my plants watered early. When the flowers are in pots/planters they need to be watered daily, now if I could just keep the squirrels out of the planters. The squirrels have dug up a few of the flowers so I have a few bare spots in those planters, UGH!!!

Good morning all. Going to get on here early or the day just seems to get away from me. Sorry I missed yesterday. I read the posts, then got busy with Mara and didn’t get back to post myself.
We picked up Mara on Monday after dinner. Her parents left yesterday for their 3 night “camping” trip. They are in a very small cabin that has electricity and no running water. Does have beds and a stove apparently. Not my thing; but they wanted a cheap get away. And they needed it. They picked up the replacement car, a 2014 Mitsubishi SUV and then dropped off DS’s car for an oil change and a tune up. They haven’t called me about it so I’m assuming DS told them there was no hurry and he said this repair place was swamped. I’m hoping no news is good news. We’ll return Mara to them Friday afternoon sometime. Probably dinner time because I am supposed to get my CPAP in the afternoon and they have to pick up dogs once they get home.
We are having sunny HOT (90’s) weather. 4 days of that, then storms, then 70’s for a week or so. Gotta love summer in MN! Didn’t sleep well last night and am really tired this morning. I let Stan & Mara sleep in. Gotta get Mara up soon so she hopefully will nap this afternoon. She didn’t yesterday and needed to.
Joy, WTG on the weight loss. That is wonderful. And you are working the program and walking. It all helps. Dottie, enjoy your lunch with friends. So nice to see people. I need to schedule an outdoor visit with DF Rita soon. Her building has lifted some restrictions and she can sit outside to visit. But not when it’s in the 90’s. Not healthy for her.
Ok, going to get Mara up and get our day going. Have to get her outside for a while before it gets too hot. She’s so fair skinned she burns if she’s out too long. Then a ton of phone calls I need to make. Have a great day all.
