Karen, the container plants look nice and healthy. Congrats on the new wifi service. I am glad the fish a d protein shakes are giving you the protein you need without GI issues. I did not see many masks at the grocery in Kokomo but I didn’t expect to. The employees had them.
Linda, bad times in Arizona between the climbing virus numbers and the fires. I have limited my news to half an hour on the internet. I read that NZ who said they had beaten the virus now have 3 known cases due to relaxing the quarantine rules for returning New Zealanders. They are back to the full 2 week quarantine-no exceptions. Now that are doing the contact tracing. How was the peach cake and sandwiches?
Kathy, the young are following the examples of our leaders because the leaders (and maybe their parents)are saying what they want to hear. When you are that young you think you are invincible and since the virus can stay asymptomatic they don’t feel sick; therefore they are not sick, right? Anyway, I am glad you and your family take precautions.
Denise, how is the week going? Everything good in the neighborhood?
Becky, fingers crossed insurance will pay for more PT, so you can be 100%, pain-free and mobile.
The trip was good except for the construction and slowdowns but it was sunny and not too hot. I got a nice bouquet to put on DM’s grave and we had no trouble finding it this time. Today the gardener aka Iggy is mowing and contemplating getting more mulch for the backyard. I am making him some chicken tacos and doing housework.

The carnivore was skeptical about the chicken instead of beef for the tacos but I made him a believer. He said it was a definite repeat meal. He made me crazy while I was cooking it though. Never said a word just stared while I was prepping. I am loosening the leash and letting him run an errand without me.

Chele, glad you had a nice picnic yesterday and a good outing. The Wall Street Journal just published an interview with Trump where he said Covid testing is "overrated" and some Americans may be wearing masks to signal disapproval of him—not as a preventative measure. With that attitude coming from the top, it's no wonder a lot of people don't wear masks. They interviewed a student on the news last night that tested positive, but had no symptoms. He said he regretted going to several places in between when he was tested and when he got the results. We are doomed. Opening the bars was such a huge mistake. I hope for Iggy's sake that he doesn't abuse his privileges while he is off the leash! I would've had to throw him out of the room with the staring.
Waving to everyone. Hope you have a great day.

Not many cases if you do not test is sort of like not pregnant if no test. But not a source I look to for truth or common sense.
the cake is easy except for peeling and cutting peaches into cubes. Ithink it would be ok if you did not have a springform pan, it pulled away from edges. .I get up foggy and clogging and a little off balance every day right now. Lot of saline spray, blowing, ear popping and a Sudafed and still a bit out if it. Another reason to hate AZ summer.
Micki loves eggs...fried, scrambled, boiled, poached!
Mayors all over are now allowed to regulate and have instituted required masks in public areas except outdoors where you are distant or pools. That should help if people stop being so nasty about it. We had about 30% wearing and skyrocketing cases.
That big fire NE of us ( largest in country) is growing In wind and fortunately smoke is going away from us. Hoping that does not change. Communities up there have evacuated. Going to be a long summer...110 next week.
Did laundry, poofed more food grade D earth Around the foundation, walked dog around 9:30 while one side was still shady. DH walked him at fIve, but my knees need to walk decently and short one at 7 is not doing it for me.
DH wanted a specific food only one place has...now closed permanently. Lot of that happening here.

Thanks for the start, Chele. Hope you enjoyed your picnic yesterday. I guess the park wasn't crowded or you wouldn't have stayed. This time of year there always seem to be road construction delays. Where did you find your bouquet? We usually end up at Hobby Lobby. How did the day go for your yard man? I know he appreciated those chicken tacos, especially if the recipe is a keeper. Did he get his errand run without you? Plant seem happy and I have several new tomatoes. I got CSA tomatoes coming next week, but may not need them after that.
Linda, I just saw that you have a record number of cases there. At least the guv is finally letting local jurisdictions require masks. Is there any teeth to it where you are? Our numbers are climbing. Sevier County is up 15% since yesterday and the tourists are back, so the numbers will keep on climbing here. I'm glad the cake turned out well. Yes, peeling peaches is not easy and neither is dislodging the pit from cling peaches. What kind of food did the closed restaurant used to have that Bob liked so well? Lots of changes everywhere. Your clogging sounds like mine. I got out of bed around midnight because I couldn't breathe out of either nostril and thought sitting up might help, but it didn't. The inhaler didn't work either, so I didn't get a great deal of sleep and have been kind of dragging all day. Hopefully I'll be clear enough to sleep tonight.
I hadn't seen that Trump interview, Kathy. It's always about him. That myth about only Trump haters wearing masks is a popular one and is one more indication that he cares about no one but himself. I guess if someone told the positive student that he should isolate until his test results come back, he didn't listen. Dale and I have been saying all along that we're on our own. I was surprised that about 75% of customers were actually wearing masks. What a pleasant surprise! However, I encountered a couple of women who looked to be in their 40s with no masks going the wrong way down one of the aisles. I came very close to saying something but didn't.
Becky, good luck at PT tomorrow. I hope you will know how many additional sessions you'll be having. Did you do your "homework"? How are Austin and SA managing to get around the guv's executive order on masks?
How are you doing, Denise? How are your plants?
Liz, you've almost made it to the weekend. I hope it hasn't been a crazy week, but suspect it probably has. How are the joints doing?
Osteo was OK today, but I worked with the owner today and she remarked that my leg press hadn't returned to my pre-covid level and we were trying to figure out why. On the way home I realized that I hit that number in my last pre-covid session, which was also the last week I worked out at the gyms. I told Dale I probably need to at least get back to twice a week to just do legs. I should be able to get in and out in about 15 or 20 minutes. I'll probably wait until the last week of the month, which happens to be when Dale starts his new old job. He will be back where he was before he retired--same job with a lot of the same co workers. . They actually called him about a month ago to see if he would come backHe starts on the 29th. We got another offer on the house today. It was a little more than the last one, but we countered because it's not enough. With him going back to work, if it doesn't sell, we can afford to get the renovations done without having to dip into savings. That will allow us to sell it for considerably more and it will be updated, which has been one of the complaints from prospective buyers. I have both an a.m. and a p.m. Zoom tomorrow, so it will be a busy day.

Thanks for the start Chele. I'm glad you enjoyed your picnic yesterday. No picnic here. I'm fairly mobile as I can walk and ride the recumbent bike but between the PT yesterday and the exercises they gave me to do at home I am sore today. I'm glad Iggy liked the chicken. For tacos I would rather have ground beef but I do like boneless skinless chicken. LOL on getting him out of the house.
Kathy Some of the Texas mayors wrote a letter to our governor and showed him new studies on how much face masks help and he has reversed his opinion. It's not all counties yet but some can make sure the businesses mandate face masks before shopping and if they let them in then the business can get fined up to $1000. That makes more sense than fining individuals.
Karen I don't go back to PT until next Monday. Then by next Friday they hope to have more sessions approved. The exercises are pretty tough on my knee/leg.Abbott is giving mayors no problem once they showed him the new studies that face masks help. They can now fine the businesses if people don't comply but of course our county has had no response to that.I hope Dale will enjoy his new old job.

In Tempe first offense is warning. Not sure after that but we have done real hard heads.
The restaurant was Polish and Canadian...first they moved to Canada, then here. We wanted poutine.
i am hearing a lot more planes in the Sky Harbor landing pattern over is.
ouch on all the PT. I just started again at home and walked a mile today with Micki...lucky to only get to 102. 110 next week for days...pretty much third week June typical..usually worse.
