Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Another beautiful morning. Will hit the 80s today, humidity climbing. Rain expected tomorrow, 80s all weekend.
Dottie - I hope you had a nice lunch. Always good to get together with friends.
Ruth - talking about that cabin reminded me of my college years. I went camping a lot back then, wouldn’t think of it now.
Did you hear about all of the changes the Sabres made. They got rid of the GM, new one in place. That was a good move. They also fired most of the scouting staff, went from 21 to 7. That’s a very lean team. I’m thinking if they don’t start winning next season, the Sabres will be on the selling block. Fortunately, or unfortunately - I’m not that much of a fan of the Sabres anymore. Sad to say since I’ve been a fan since the beginning, 1970. It’s just they haven’t cared about winning for so long, just get their paycheck and go through the motions.
Electrician due this morning for the estimate. Fingers crossed it’s in my budget. I printed out my list so I can give him a copy.
Work was fun yesterday. Other cashier worked later so we had time to chat. We laughed a lot, really had time to catch up. Glad I didn’t have a lot of work, left one thing for today.
I need to get a new My Pillow. I’ve had min for almost 10 years, washed it again yesterday. Its still ok, but a new one will be better.
Later ...

Good morning all. Got my hour of quiet time this morning. Alarm went off at 8 and Stan didn’t hear it; so got up and enjoyed my coffee and the quiet.
Have my appt. after lunch to get my new cpap. Sure hope it helps me to sleep. I said I’m tired of being tired. Hope I can use it and still hear Mara.
Need to throw in a load of laundry shortly. Want to have most of Mara’s clothes clean to send home with her tomorrow. But I want them to get me more of her stuff so I can match it up into outfits; pairs of pj’s, etc. Not that it matters to DS, he doesn’t worry about things like that. Sets off my OCD!!!
Joy, sounds like you are all ready for the electrician. Fingers crossed it’s all in your budget. We need an electrician to change out the ceiling fan/light in our bedroom and a new light for an area downstairs. Let us know how it goes.
I had not heard all that about the Sabres. Those are some big changes. Are they laying off the scouting personnel just to cut operating budget or The same things have been said about the Wild; they are only there to pick up a paycheck. That may be true with some players, but I don’t think with all. I’m looking forward to the playoffs if they get that going. Not sure they’ve decided which cities the games will be played in and the players will be confined in. Will be interesting to see. Is there another team around there you could watch and enjoy?
Always nice to have a good time with a co-worker. Joy, yours sounds nice. Dottie, hope you enjoyed your lunch. The yard gatherings are becoming very popular. I know ours was with family. May be time to do that with a couple couples of friends. Nice to see people after so long.
We got some rain overnight; may get a little more later today; then 80’s for the rest of the week; but rain is possible off and on.
Off to put laundry in and I need to wash my hair. Have a good day all. I’ll check back in later on today.

Joyce, I used to enjoy days when I could catch up with a co-worker. We could accomplish our work and still visit. Hope the electrician is within your budget.
Ruth, hope the fitting for the CPAP goes okay and you can use it and feel better. Bill will sometimes put his on if he wants to take a nap, he is very dependent on his. I always enjoy some quiet time by myself.
I had PT this morning. Starting next week I will go once a week for several weeks, and hopefully do the exercises at home by myself. I figure that the point of the PT was to help with the pain and keep me mobile. I know my condition (leading to bone on bone) won’t get better but if I can stay as active as possible with the PT then I think I met my goal. I can do stairs with very little pain so I feel good about that. The get together yesterday was nice. A chance to catch up with friends.
