Good morning! So you know I didnt sleep last night. I woke up at 2am, Steve wad up watching tv. I tried to go back to sleep, don't know what time I drifted off. I got up at 5am, meditated and made breakfast for Steve and I. I cant have anything to eat or drink for 8 hours before the MRI. I could not focus on work yesterday afternoon. I work until about 1230 today. I should have just taken today off. I have some things I need to wrap up before the weekend can officially start.
Need to jump in there shower. I'll come back later.

Morning Jo...just MMS for now....will likely not be back tonight since I'll come home, drop my stuff off and leave shortly after to head to the studio for paint night!! So excited for that one!! It's a fun sand castle and according to the description it has "texture" paint to make it really look like sand! Will be perfect as summer officially arrives this weekend!!
Need to get my lunch box packed and want to make sure I leave in plenty of time to clock in and grab a few things from my desk to bring to the other warehouse for the next 3 weeks!!
I am excited about a couple good paychecks!! Only got $50.32 yesterday once they took out my insurance and flex spending.....next paycheck will be a 3 day week plus a full week. Then another full paycheck. Will be checking with HR this morning how to handle my unemployment...I know this time I will file for the short week and then it's two weeks of FT work so don't know what I need to do to keep my claim open in case after 3 weeks I'm off again?!?!?
Have a great day all....supposed to be a warm and humid one here so will need to close windows before I leave as well!!

Good morning Jo ~ Thanks for starting us off this morning. Sorry sleep was so difficult for you - but completely understand! Hoping today goes quickly for you - is Steve driving you to the MRI?? Is he allowed to go inside? Or will he wait outside? We still don't know details of Tracy's surgery next week!
T.G.I.F. for sure... and the day off... as usual my "plans" have changed (for me) but it will be fine, I'll make it work!
Going to be a long HOT weekend, but need to get some usual weekend chores done - so I am ready for next week! Work Monday - Wednesday, leave Wednesday night for the hotel - and Tracy's surgery early Thursday morning. We opted to stay another night, in case we can't wait AT the Dr office. This way we can wait at the hotel "next door" and then not have to make the drive home... we'll find somewhere to grab dinner - and enjoy the tub and pool IF They let it open by then! Only time-will-tell!
Going to grab another cup of coffee and enjoy some quiet time, before Tracy and Eden arrive home (for the day)! ♥

Good morning ladies~
So today begins our 4-day trend of over 100 degrees....but it is dry and I actually don't mind (as long as I can sleep at night). I have a full day today (of course) but had planned to take the next two weeks off and I see that this will not be possible. There is simply too much going on. Yesterday our governor announced that everyone must where a mask when inside and it caused a panic in schools....so, I decided to READ the guidance and saw that it said "except for schools and childcare centers"....so I forwarded to our leadership team who continued to panic. Then, "miraculously" about 4 hours later the public health officer announced that the policy says "except for schools and childcare centers" and everyone was relieved. My principals got a kick out of it...they thought it was pretty funny that I had calmed them down hours earlier. If there is nothing else that I have learned through all of this, it is that miscommunication is rampant...you have to READ everything to be sure. So, on we go!
Jo: I will be thinking about you today and completely understand why sleep was so hard. I hope that you are able to catch up on your sleep tonight. If EVER there was a time when we should try to keep ourselves rested and healthy it is now, right? I hope that you are able to get those things done this morning though so that you start the weekend on a good note. How cool that Em is doing mechanics! Hey, I have heard that women LOVE having women mechanics...as a matter of a fact, there is a shop somewhere in the mid-west that is all women and has made quite a name for itself. Wonderful--happy for her! I am so glad that your mom's care place is being so cautious. We have all seen how traumatic it can be to see the most vulnerable get so sick. I am so happy for you getting away and totally understand your sister's concern. You never know if she will feel more comfortable once she is with all of you. Maybe she should bring her clothes, etc. just in case? Hope that your day passes quickly. Hugs to you.

Sue: Well, it sounds like you have a couple of people really working to find a place for you. I love seeing that good work ethic pays off. I hope that this all pans out for you. In the meantime, great idea to expand your skills for working within the company. Oh how fun to have the boys there! Yes, sounds so normal! I feel for your friend. I actually have a few friends that have still not held their grandchild due to COVID. Yep, we will never forget this time of our lives! My schools are for incarcerated and social-service referred youth so the kids live there, are far behind in school, and have school almost every day of the year. All of these "executive orders" about school starting completely ignore (as always) the most vulnerable kids we have in these systems across the US. It's pretty frustrating. So, I am planning to "start" what all other schools are doing in August.....and feel like I am on my own on this. It's pretty high stress because I have teachers with health conditions, over 65, etc. and I worry for their safety. Oh well, we do our best, right? I am finding that my work is helping others (I am actually getting calls asking how I have talked to staff, etc. as people prepare). Hope that you have a good day my friend! YAHOO for paint night! Oh, and good idea (I think) to hold off on PF....
Shelly: Oh so glad that your test came back negative! So Shelly, I STRONGLY encourage you to consider asking your employees to wear masks -- maybe your boss can provide them? Now that we have seen cases and are seeing slight surges, we have learned that masks are the #1 effective way to fight things. Your little town could really put a halt to it if people could do it. There was a hair dresser in So. California that was COVID positive (didn't know it because she had few symptoms) but she and her clients wore masks while she did their hair. They tested 200 clients that she worked on (once they found out she ws positive) and NOT A SINGLE PERSON got Covid...I am telling you, masks can make a huge difference. Oh, the kidney infection sounds like it was awful!!! What causes it? Can you do things to avoid them in the future? So glad that you feel better!

Christine: I hope that you have a good day....or do you have today off? Trying to remember. TGIF, right???
Carole: Okay, so Tracy's surgery is next week. Got it. Yes, it will feel SO good to be somewhere other than home! Hugs to you my friend and proud of you for saying, "No, I can walk" -- oh and yahoo for the injection issues being covered! Hope that you have a good day.
Lisa; Wow, nice surprise having the kids come over last night--thank goodness someone reported the leak! Hope that you have something fun planned today or this weekend....I miss hearing about those fun things that you and DH used to do pre-COVID!
Hello to Jenny, Shelly, and all who follow. Need to power through this day!

Just pouring more coffee, and moved to the patio... sun is starting to shine brighter - so not sure how long I can be outside! LOL The glare - not the sun itself! LOL
Will try to catch up on yesterday - but oh dear, Eden just arrived! Not sure what her plan is for the day! She brought her remote control car, so she will be entertained for a little while anyway!
Oh Christine - I do hope those TStorms just moves away for you. Eden tells me her Alexa said a high of 88 today! UGH Sorry your "focus" is waning... I do believe it is just the "unknown" messing with our heads!
Jo: Oh nice! Being able to go visit Mum in July... in person... I am sure she will appreciate that!
Christine: By now, you know Tracy's surgery is next week. Yesterday was just a later start morning - no computer time. Today will be a pool day - hot temps and Eden is here!
LOL Glad Carly's client was so informative! LOL BUt YAY for her being able to enjoy the pool!
WOO HOO Linds will be home for FD with Gary ♥
Gabrielle: YAY For being able to get out and RUN before your Zooms start! Routine maintenance is good - tires, not so good, but a necessary "evil"! LOL UGH So many decisions to make regarding school in the fall! Testing kids every day seems "extreme"... as yes they may be available, but what's the cost of each test?? Quite frankly I do not ever want one of those tests!! Yikes - sorry the board meeting went so long... hoping the big issue was resolved.
I don't "do" FD for Ken, I let the kids do that! LOL However... my sisters BD is ALSO 6/26, but we are celebrating hers and Kathy's BDs this Sunday. Trying NOT to have a "celebration" next weekend - which would include Matt & Patti's anniversary. Will be a tough one for Patti I'm sure.
Jo: Oh, I guess I get it - if your DS is "high risk"... hope you made up some time yesterday... thinking of you today ♥ {{{{hugs}}}}
Sue: YAY! I KNEW Todd & Paul would figure something out for you! How grateful you must feel now! I get the "door mat" feeling, but Glad you were able to out it aside and just go in as called! Oh dear - yes, sounds like the same travel policy the bank has right now... that's why I will not be traveling out of state any time soon!
Lisa: Glad the kids could stay with you folks... hopefully the food didn't spoil. Well as things open up a bit, maybe you will be called to work. - Fingers crossed...
Yeah, well the fridge was a Special Buy... but I was (still am) so MAD. The area we live in doesn't offer many options!
Sue: Glad you are still able to "collect" while back to work... that will help your savings account! Yeah, by now you know the fridge was a bust... Sounds like you are getting back to normal... paint night - massage - back to work... good time to live in PA! I want a pedicure!
No - What I shared was "Matt's Bank" lobbies opening... ours will be July at the earliest now! No date in July has been set! I just shared today a video of VP video explaining all we are doing to protect everyone!!
YAY for back to work the next 3 weeks!! For sure... every single thing I have done this spring has gone through HELL to get it done!! Now I am "waiting" for the landscape guy... getting a bit miffed at him as well - he was right on it to give me the quote, now that we have said YES, he's doing every other job in the county BUT.NOT.OURS.! I am trying to be patient and not just cancel him too - I know he is coordinating with the blacktop guy - and I know WHEN it happens I will be so happy - but I hate feeling like I am at the bottom of the pile for work to be done!
LOL Yes, I am a 4 week haircut... haven't been since February 27th this time! I wish I didn't have to have bangs, but my hairline/widow's peak/cowlick, whatever you want to call it means I must!
Shelly: YAY for feeling a bit better. Oh heck, I'd have taken the extra day anyway - test results in or not!
Oh Shelly - some days I do NOT "do it"... I fumble my way through the day - feeling anxious and tired and cranky and sad... No way I use the word lazy to describe YOU my friend! Thanks ♥ I know all of this will pass... but right now I am letting all the little things get to me - I need to shake this FUNK and just get some normal back in my life!!
Oh dear - I don't think I ever caught up on Wednesday... I will read back (later) and see if I missed much.
Meanwhile this post has taken a long time - keep getting interrupted! LOL Now I think I will offer Eden the pool, before we take a walk downstreet. We are heading to the school to grab the free lunches they are giving out to kids today - and then hit the store, to see Grampa! It is getting hot - I had to move inside... didn't want the sun doing anything funky to my laptop!
I'll be back later... time to swim - then take a walk - then get a grocery list done - then dishes... a rather busy day for me - considering Monday I told everyone Friday was a ME DAY... doing nothing - but here we are! ♥hugs♥

Hello everyone
What a week, I just finally got a day to myself because I've been training at the Stayton plant. I'm at my old plant today and I was just getting here and in pulls WWOW and I thought "Oh good golly", but you know what we had a long talk and she even apologized to me for being such a witch last year, I was stunned She explained how hurt she was after getting demoted and she took it out on me. She said she was letting it consume her and she just recently just had to let it go and release herself of those feelings cause she didn't like who she was becoming and how she was acting. I thought that was a huge action to take for herself, so we just laughed all morning long. I feel much better about our relationship now, I feel she finally letting go and getting ready for her next step in life which is retirement. I like it when people realize their wrong doings and are not afraid to admit it.
I'll try and catch up best that I can since I'm so far behind.
Carole hugs to you friend ()()()() . It's always hard for the firsts of not being with our loved ones after they pass, it sounds like you had a pretty rough couple past weeks with the roof not going as planned, but the window was ok except for the ding, then the fridge!!!! I would of ripped someone a new one, I don't blame you one bit. What crappy customer service. We don't shop at HD anymore we go to Lowe's. DH had a bad experience with HD a while ago so we haven't been back. I hope Tracy's surgery is a success. Have fun with Eden today.

Sue so happy that you have people that are watching your back at work and realize that your a great worker sounds like some what of a normal life is returning for you. Yeah to having the boys next weekend. How is Colton doing with his grandma passing. I hope he's getting back to a regular routine again, poor guy. Enjoy your paint night tonight.
Jo oh boy hope the MRI turns out well. When will you know the results? I saw the picture of Em graduating, good for her. You know going into a trade like mechanics is great and they get paid well to. Sorry about you and Steve feuding, it's a hard time right now for you. Hugs ())()()()
Gabrielle sounds like lots of zoom meetings you have scheduled for today and HOT weather. We are going to be around 85 today and then Sunday high 70's, perfect day to BBQ for FD.
Christine well sisters will be sisters and feud with each other don't let it get you down. I bet your happy with at least getting into the office at least a couple day's a week. Is Gary back working? Oh at the Stayton plant I'm learning about bark dust and garden blends, bark chips, bark nuggets decorative rock and I love it. If we lived closer I could bring some over of what you needed for you back yard. They even have a little 5 yard dump truck to deliver products with and I told Billy that I could deliver also but since it has air breaks on it, some one with a CDL needs to drive it and I got rid of my CDL years ago. Bummer, but I'm not going to get my CDL just for that because then I'd be in all the trucks since I have experience in everything and I'm just getting to old for that.
Lisa how are you doing? My back is much better but it took a week to heal, the older I get the harder things are on me. I still have a hematoma from my fall a month ago. It's no fun.
Shelly I'm so sorry that your not feeling well but so relieved it isn't COVID, what a scare for you. I'm like Gabrielle, I wear my mask in all stores especially since Oregon had such a big spike this week. I know the spike is in Eastern Oregon but hey, I don't want this stuff at all. I'm happy my work place doesn't have more than 2 people in the office at a time. We are moving into the yellow phase today phase 2 with up to 50 people for gatherings and I think churches can go now too.
OK friends got to run for now everyone have a great FD weekend
Jenny

Had a good day at work....brain kind of mush but everything today was new...I know the programs I was working in but the actual order processing is totally new!! Have another whole week of training before Gloria is on vacation!! Then she comes back and Tonya is off....that runs through 7/10....after that, who knows! Todd did tell Rhonda in payroll that I was going to need access to Kronos for logging in and out for the "foreseeable" future....so not sure what that will mean??
Sorry no personals....need to empty my lunch box and get ready to head to the studio! Lynne is picking up a pizza so we will enjoy a quick, casual dinner before hand!!
See you all in the morning....not sure if it will be before or after my massage???
