Strawberries would cook on the plant here!
I finally lost a pound and an inch Over last 8 days. Asked DH to bring hime a small pack if Hersey's kisses...I control that pretty well...came home with two Kit Kat Bars and two snickers.arghh! Said he did not see the other as he was update by woman there whose kid was staying next to him even when he moved away, and when he asked her to explain to the kid that he needed to stay farther away, she went off on him saying do not talk to her child.... he said but I asked you..,she started yelling at him.
people are nuts. Also Walgreens refuses to obey mask ruling for customers until HQ tells
Last of the decent days before extreme heat and I overslept! Of well. Dusted four rooms, cleaned baths, and changed beds and did that laundry. Going to make poutine for DH tonight as he was so disappointed that restaurant is now gone.

Thanks for the start, Karen.
Denise, enjoy your day off.
Linda, good luck with the poutine. People have gone off the deep end. Bob was respectful and the woman lashed out. Was she wearing a mask?
It is a hot summer day here and I woke up with an allergy headache. Grass is pollinating. Iggy edged the front yard and sidewalk grass today. The yard hasn’t looked this good since the early aughts.
Have a good evening.

Becky, are you still sore today? Perhaps it's good that you have a few days off until you next PT session. Do you have 2 next week or just Monday? It's good that Abbott is listening to at least some of the mayors and that they were able to show him the data to give them the power to do what should have been happening anyway.
Are there a lot of folks in Canada who came from Poland, Linda? I had to google Poutine and it looks quite intriguing but probably rather high on the calorie count. We only have one place around here that I know of that sells cheese curds and it's a convenience store. Well, unless you count the A&W restaurant that has them on the menu. How far are you from the airport? Hope you're enjoying your "cool" weather today. Congrats on the lb and the inch. Hershey's Kisses aren't even close to Kit Kats and Snickers. But under the circumstances....Did the woman and her weird child at least wear masks? Yes, people are nuts! I think I would probably be contacting Walgreens corporate to let them know their employees are not following the rules of the jurisdiction. I can't believe they would be too pleased with that.
Denise, are you expecting rain any time soon? We had some this morning and might get more this afternoon. Plus we have at least a 50% chance most of next week. I had watered the garden and the blueberries about 15 minutes before this morning's downpour came. It was a surprise. Enjoy strawberry picking next week. I guess if you stay as far away from people as possible, it shouldn't be a problem because it's outdoors.
The retiree was productive today, Chele. Sorry about the grass-induced headache. Our grasses were high earlier in the week and that's what triggered my problem. I slept better last night. Only one nostril clogged. Dale said I didn't even snore. I hope your head will clear up quickly. I hope you will be successful with the farmers tomorrow and everyone will be wearing their masks. The performance fabric one I made worked out great at Osteo yesterday and I plan to make a couple more that I can put filters in for the gym when I go back in a couple of weeks.
Kathy, I heard your ICUs are filling up fast there. Wait until the convention in JAX. Going to be filling up fast here soon I'm afraid. We are up almost 1200 cases since yesterday and 45 of those are in Sevier County. But we aren't scaling back the reopening. Bet you aren't either. Are you expecting hot and humid weather this weekend?
Friday, Liz! I know you're glad the week is over. Have a restful weekend!
We are doing the negotiation dance on the house with the 3rd verbal offer of the week. If they would come up about $15K I think we would say, "sold", even though we wouldn't come even close to breaking even. Dale is going back to work so we can absorb the loss. I had a MG Zoom this morning and an Osteo one this afternoon with one of Tony Robbins' star trainers. I've never read any of his books or gone to a seminar, so it was new to me but interesting and something I think might be helpful, but might have been more helpful before I retired.

Oh yeah, French fries...even air fried... with meaty cheese curds and gravy is not calorie friendly. I will have mostly salad.
The woman had a mask was wandering leisurely as if things were normal and looking at magazines .She was like a lot of people these days ...let her young child run loose in a store. Kids under six do not have to wear masks, but they are excellent germ carriers, even thus one since they often show no symptoms unless they get that horrid inflammatory reaction. I would not want my kid in the store exposed to anything let alone close to strangers.
Karen, so sorry about the house and Dale needing to work. Hope you can unload it.

Denise, you can have some of our rain! We've been getting it almost every day. Not complaining though since I haven't had to turn my sprinklers on lately. Linda, congrats on the loss. I've held steady the past couple of weeks, but I'm still down since March which amazes me. That's insane on the kid in the store. Everyone is so on edge right now. I've heard of poutine, but had to look it up. It looks like some amazing comfort food. Hope you and Bob enjoy it. Chele, sorry about the allergy headache. Iggy is going to run out of grass to mow! Karen, I'm wondering if the convention will even happen here at the rate we're getting new cases. It's really hit the younger population with the bars reopening, but now they've had time to spread it to everyone else. I'm not looking forward to seeing our numbers for next week. Our governor says we're not scaling back and the numbers are just the result of more testing. Our county just made masks mandatory in public places. It's going to get interesting since so many people are dead set against wearing them. Your tourist areas look very crowded, so I'm not surprised numbers are increasing there too. We will have hot and humid weather until late next fall. I hope they come up some on the house and you can sell it. Even with a loss, it would be good to be done with it. Liz, Friday at last! Hope you had a good one. Becky, that's a great idea on fining the businesses instead of individuals for the face masks. Our county just made them mandatory, but I'm not clear on how they plan to enforce it yet.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Linda Yea on your loss.
Denise Enjoy your day off.
Chele It sounds like Iggy is working out good as a yard man.I hope you got rid of your headache.
Karen Yes I'm still sore today.I still need to do the home exercises until I go back and in between sessions.Monday for sure and they hope to know something before Friday. The thing is all businesses have had the right to refuse entry to anyone not wearing a mask and they still aren't doing it here.
Kathy I'll gladly take your rain. Our county has not gotten on board yet with mandatory face masks.I have messaged the county judge and our mayor on Facebook and nothing so far.
