Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Yesterday turned out to be a very nice day.
I exchanged my cable box, nice and easy process. They were very organized.
Then I went to my favorite restaurant for breakfast. That ended up being a good decision. They removed tables and reorganized the dining area. All staff, servers & kitchen, wore masks. Customers wore a mask until they were seated. It was very comfortable. I enjoyed chatting with a few of the servers, my breakfast was delicious, and I would go there again. One of the owners was there, probably making sure things were going well. A few customers went up to him, asked how he was doing, thanked him for keeping open - he said they are doing ok and he was glad people were coming back.
I went to Best Buy, talked to a nice and knowledgeable staff member, bought a 50” Samsung Smart tv that will be delivered on July 6. I asked him how long he’s been back to work, he said he was off the first 2 weeks, was called back and has been working ever since. He also said most TVs that were 50” or less were sold during the lockdown, that’s why I had to wait a bit to get mine. They are finally getting their stock back.
So, it was a busy and fun day. I’m heading to work soon. Giving myself a mini manicure when I get home.
Enjoy your day.

Joyce, sounds like you had a very enjoyable day yesterday. That is interesting about the amount of TVs sold during the pandemic. I know Bill and I are watching more TV then we ever have.
Ruth, hope you had a good night with your CPAP.
We are heading up to the lake shortly and won't be back till Monday. It is supposed to be a nice but warm weekend. I'm sure the kids will enjoy the water. Have a great weekend.

Good morning Ladies! Dottie, have a wonderful weekend with the kids at the lake. Hope the weather cooperates, the water is warm, and you get lots of grand kids snuggles in!!!
Joy, you will be amazed at how good the picture will be on your new TV. We usually think the old tv isn’t that bad, until you get the new one!! I guess with everyone home it’s not surprising they sold out on bigger tv’s. People are watching more movies and things and want the bigger screen for the theater-like experience.
I used the CPAP last night. I made it until 6 am with it on; think the headgear had moved and the mask wasn’t sealing well by then. It’s going to be a learning experience getting used to wearing it all night again. The headgear on this one is smaller and not as bad, but I still woke up with my head itching a couple times. Anything on my head makes it itch. Really sensitive for some reason. Can hardly stand to wear hats in the winter.
Stan is out mowing and I need to get a few inside chores done. Unload the dishwasher; vacuum & dust; wash our bedding. And pick up toys. Mara puts the little things back in their plastic containers, but then they are sitting around and books are out and all. Need to clear it up so I can vacuum.
Have an order to pick up at Target. Actually 2 orders. I bought Stan a Ninja Foodie (combo InstaPot and air fryer) for Father’s Day. Another WW friend (the one I camp with) has one and DS Carol & her hubby got one from their kids for their anniversary in May. Everyone likes it, so hopefully Stan will. If he does, will get rid of our InstaPot. Get it off the counter and replace it with this. Need to clean out a cabinet so it can be stored out of sight. Then I also ordered a few groceries, so they can just put all of it in the back end.
Have a wonderful day all. Will check in later.

Good morning,
Another beautiful sunny morning. We’ve had an amazing weather week
Work went well yesterday. I had enough to do to keep me busy. Still selling lots of cars, especially used cars - that inventory is very low.
I was notified by email that the Y is opening on July 1, limited programs. They will only be open M-F from 7-7. They are asking members to keep to a 90 minute maximum visit, cardio and weight area will be open, gym will be open for limited classes on first come basis, indoor track open, pool open for lap swim only. No child watch, adventure room, lobby area closed. They require masks for entering, exiting, and in common area. They will be controlling capacity. It sounds like they are doing their opening the right way. I won’t be heading there yet, I prefer going after work so I’ll wait until they stay open later.
Dottie - have fun at the lake.
Ruth - here’s hoping you get used to the Cpap quickly and that it helps with sleeping. I’ve heard a lot of good reviews on the Foodie. I still don’t have an instapot or air fryer and everyone tells me I’ll wonder what took me so long if I ever do get one of them.
Enjoy your day

Good morning all. Hope Dottie is enjoying Father’s Day at the lake with both DH, both DS’s and the grands.
Joy, do your DB/DSIL have children? Nice that work is going so well. I think cars are selling well here too, but not like your dealership is doing.
Not sure what we are going to be doing today. I think meeting up with DS at some point as I have some groceries for them. We might see younger DD’s family as we have a bike that I picked up for DSIL for Sawyer. He had bought it on Craigslist here in Hugo and it turned out to be about 2 miles from us. They are leaving tomorrow for a week at a cabin on some lake. Haven’t heard details.
I don’t think there’s a lot else going on here today. Going to read the paper, read some on my book, maybe knit a little and hit Target’s drive up.
Have a good day. I’ll check in tonight to see if Dottie is home.
