TRUSTING TUESDAY - We need to TRUST in ourselves to make the right choices - for the right reasons - at the right time. TRUST... trust the program you are on - to work for YOU, if YOU WORK YOUR PROGRAM! It won't work itself!!
I am TRYING to TRUST that I can do this - and everything that happens (or doesn't happen) is something I have to TRUST will work out somehow! I am still feeling out of sorts - over a lot of things... but I have to trust that it will all get back to normal someday - somehow - someway!
Anyway - I have to TRUST that the scale will go back down again - when I get myself out of this funk & Back On Track!
I can't find my (new) journal/book/planner... I thought I had just ordered a new one some time back - but cannot seem to find it... so I ordered a new one yesterday! I think I will do a "retake" of BLE, when my new journal/tracker comes. I remember NOT losing a lot of weight while on that program - but I DO remember "feeling better"...Pretty sure I was less bloated and overall felt better? I am not looking for anything "drastic" but I need to put my focus on ME, something I can do to make myself feel better - and in turn be a better person to others. I do not like this feeling of BLAH all day - every day - I need to do something to feel better physically - mentally - and emotionally! The food and alcohol are NOT doing it for me!
I also need to TRUST that I will eventually get my landscaping done... most likely in the fall now... which sort of put me over the edge this morning - when I got that email! ANGER and SADNESS are not emotions I deal well with these days... but - whatever... maybe summer is not a good time to have the yard all dug up - or try to get blacktop to "set"... although they do it on roadways All.The.Time.... it is not to "be" here... so another couple of months with our crappy yard and driveway... but if it is done in the fall - then next spring it will already be done - look good - and be easier to take care of... I have to trust it will be OK... I am just very sad - angry - disappointed this morning! It will pass... just once again - got my hopes up and WHAM...
OK Need to refill my coffee... and be back to catch up! ♥

SO once again - MOVE IT MONDAY - didn't MOVE well for me... but we did get in the pool after dinner. Nothing "major" but at least did SOME "MOVING" after eating - before bed. Water temp is up to (about) 80 so it is PERFECT for cooling off, but not being COLD! I felt "better" heading to bed - not as hot and sweaty as I was after doing dishes - that's for sure!
Today after work - I have a PEDICURE APPOINTMENT!! Called yesterday and could get both Tracy & I in today at 5, so will leave work a little early... I CAN'T WAIT! I think my last one may have been for Valentine's Day! I know after Matt died I got a manicure, on March 12, before going to the family viewing - but didn't get a pedicure that day!
Christine - How was your morning walk?? I hope it helped you fight the restlessness for the day??
Jo: UH OH, I know right? I have had some pretty WEIRD dreams lately - some so WEIRD I can't even tell anyone! Hope you were able to shake it off and have a good day! Oh dear, yes... Em will be fine! She may take some ribbing... but hopefully it will all be in good fun.
HA! Yeah... three cakes... each "celebration" has to have it's own cake, don't ya' know??
Sue: Yes, a no cook night is all good - especially in this weather! We had leftovers... which only led to more dishes! LOL Cleaning out the fridge before we are gone for 2 days... tonight I think we will do 99 - outside dining! They have tables/umbrellas set up in the parking lot!
Oh Sue - I am sure you are doing fine... learning a new job always makes us feel like that! Heck, I have been doing this "new" ATM for what, 3 years now? STILL FLOUNDERING!!
I am hoping that Tracy will learn "more" when she has her pre=op call today or tomorrow, but it is what it is... I'll take my laptop - and set up no matter where we are I guess! LOL I NEED to get this stuff done!
LOL Well, if Lowe's has a 0% interest option for a "set" of appliances, we may just do them all at once! I am going to search for appliance stores in the Dedham area - to maybe go to a showroom to see some choices! Or at least a bigger Lowe's on the drive home!
Napping is something I don't seem to be able to do anymore! I haven't napped since I don't know when... and still not back into my reading... maybe this week - at the hotel... glad your nap helped and didn't keep you up that night!
Shelly: OH dear... back to work, and back to "normal" I guess. Ahh, steak and potatoes, always a good dinner!
May I ask what you mean by "sorting" the cattle??
Yikes, hail doesn't sound good at all, glad you have a place for your car to hide from it! WOO HOO getting back to your trainer... enjoy!!

OK Time to move it along here... should try to get in early - to leave early... have some time from yesterday - but also hope to leave early tomorrow, to head to Boston. (Well Dedham)
Meanwhile I did not get a lunch packed last night - so need to have time to figure that out as well - more salad stuff in the fridge left from last week - it will do for one more day! Lots of fruit on there... and cottage cheese - so I should be fine with enough food for the day!
Hope you all have a great day ahead ♥hugs♥

Good Morning! Love today's Title Carole - thank you for giving us something to think about this Tuesday...Trust. Very interesting, especially in dealing with so many changes in our lives - My Walk yesterday was wonderful! So glad I did it - logged 32 minutes. Could have gone further but didn't have the time in order to accomplish what I wanted to do before checking in for work. Not sure why - not like anyone was waiting on me to join or reply to any messages lol Today I have set another time schedule - let's see if I can get out the door timely - ColbyGirl has an early Puppy Spa appointment - same procedure where the groomers meet us outside at our car, wearing masks, and take her in for us - no one is allowed inside - we pay over the phone when we pick her up and they'll bring her out to the car, load her up, and off we go Our vet does it the same way - Work webinars scheduled for today. Love it - very interested in hearing recommendations for procedures this Fall from the State level - I shared the info with the Prince and the Deans to join the Zoom training but only one Dean replied that she was interested - oh, that's right, once they earn their Principal Certificate they NEVER want to sit through classes again! lol (rolling my eyes still at that one) Spent some time over weekend and yesterday helping Linds navigate her Master's program - tons of info and tons of emails to read through, handbooks, step-by-step instructions, registration, pay fees, etc She had a Zoom meeting last night with one Professor to explain their Field Placement that must start this Fall along side classes - Linds said many of the 'students' in her cohort already work in the social work field and will do their placement at their job. She feels a little behind the eight ball in securing a placement so immediately emailed two potential places - She also had to meet with the manager of her new job to get on the schedule - she starts this Friday to shadow other Servers - Need to get moving - making salad w/tuna for lunch and will grab a healthy breakfast of Greek yogurt w/berries.

Morning Carole and all to come....
I have my annual PE with my PCP this afternoon...it was originally scheduled for 5:00pm since I used to work until 4:30! Yesterday after work I called to see if they could possibly move it a bit earlier so I didn't have to "kill an hour" since I now get out at 4:00pm...thankfully they could move it back to 4:30pm!! YAY for me....now I can head over and hopefully get in, out and home at a decent hour!! Jason did say that last week when he went there were on time and he was there maybe 45 minutes total!! I can deal with that!!
Well...got a snafu thrown in this weekend....Colton's games on Friday are now in the morning so I will be picking the boys up on Thursday after work now and Jason will be taking Friday off to stay home with them. He will likely take them to the lot for a bit at some point so I may or may not have to swing down there to get them on Friday depending on what the weather is like and what Jason has planned...will see how that changes our Friday night pizza from Giovanni's for dinner???
Waves to all....have to finish adding the tomatoes and other "wet" things to my salad and pack my lunch box!!
Have a great day all...stay cool!!

Good morning!
I allowed myself to sleep in and it felt good! Today is DH and my 30th anniversary. Kind if anticlimactic, but looking forward to going for a drive or something...anything to get out of the house and feel a little "free". Yesterday's "day off" wound up being about 4 hours of webinars/phone calls and some added stress...have a 10:00 Zoom today and that is it. The stress comes from making the final decision about bringing staff back at the end of the week to one of my schools. I honestly believe that it is as safe as it could possibly be, but still I take on a lot of personal responsibility for everyone's safety. Anyway, I'll get over it.
Carole: LOL, I remember when we had our all ivory appliances and the dishwasher finally broke...about 15 years old. I had to make the decision....what color? So, I picked stainless. The appliance guy installed it and said, "Now you need to replace your stovetop and fridge." LOL, I lived with it for 5 years until we remodeled the kitchen and then switched everything to stainless. It actually didn't bother me too much (and I couldn't afford to replace appliances that were working fine). Maybe you could sell your current ones and offset the cost? I know what you mean though!! I am ALL for consolidating the celebrations. I remember you having these back-to-back celebrations in the past lasting weeks and thinking, "how exhausting!" Do it!! People can still feel special/celebrated with ONE cake and ONE celebration! Yay for ordering a new journal...I love the fresh, clean pages--feels like a fresh start. Yes, I LOVE your idea of putting DH and DS20 in a truck and making them drive to OR together (DS20 has to move his stuff out next week 6/30 - 7/1). We actually have the lease through 7/30 but the manager said that we might get some $ back if he moves out next week. DS20 is actually being stubborn right now...I don't remember if it was you or Sue who said that the two of them might have some similarities--YES. Although both would be SHOCKED if I told them that. DS20 knows that he is welcome at home, but he is just being a stinker. We will see what happens. Hope that you have a good day today and that you and get some laps jogging around the pool tonight--sounds like perfect exercise! Maybe take some music out there with you and tell Tracy and Ken to let you be out there alone? Just a thought!

Sue: Oh, I am not a fan of that "unfamiliar" feeling of a new position! You know that you will be fine soon with it, right? We know you will but, in the meantime, consider yourself expanding the reach of your brain cells--it's good for our minds, right? New learning and new pathways. Wow, good thing that Jason's schedule is flexible so that he can be home on Friday--so glad that you have the boys! That will be fun to come home to! Hope that you feel more in tune with the work today....I am sure that they are happy to have you. BTW, pretty great to not have to plan meals for a while!
Carole: Forgot to say HOORAY for the mani/pedi! My treat yesterday was my manicure and I am SO happy!!! You will feel good too
Christine: Oh, your walk sounded great! It is 78 degrees at 6:51 and I need to get a run in...I guess it will be the TM, sigh. So many cars on our roads this late--not a good idea to be out there with the sun in peoples' eyes as they drive. The initial planning for degrees can be so consuming--I would think that, especially with courses being online, there might be some limitations? I am sure that Linds is glad to have your help. Has she started her new job yet? That will be a nice change for her!
Jo: I am with Sue on the situation with the new job responsibilities....kind of sorry that the friend told you about it. I don't know about you, but I can build a HUGE conflict in my head before talking with someone about something ---I overthink it. I hope that you allow for the conversation with your boss to develop....maybe it won't be as bad as you imagined? Sometimes the things we least expect to work out turn out to be great paths for us. Sounds like a nice FD! Hope that Steve got into the cardiologist. Does he have arrhythmia? My mom does and the cardiologist told us that the Apple Watch is excellent at tracking it (he doesn't recommend it for anything other than arrhythmia)....she actually took her watch to the last appt and he downloaded the data. Is that what you have on your watch? I hope that it is a medication issue and not another ablation needed. Regardless, hope that he feels better.

Shelly: Good to see you (as busy as you are!) and good job committing to the gym!! I just can make myself consider a gym right now--too anxious about COVID....I think that it is one of a few things that will take me some time to work through. So glad that you have your trainer!
Hello to Jenny, Lisa, Nadine, and all who follow. So, I did have a COVID test yesterday--just to see what it was like, add to the local statistics, etc. It honestly wasn't that bad and was over quickly. LOL, it is kind of funny though---I may not have COVID the day they test, but could have it the next day! The antibody test is the real one that will hopefully be more accurate over time--if you give blood, you can get one of those. Hope that you all have a good day! Will see you tomorrow....
