I'm IN. ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅π This morning we are mounting an expedition to Toots' DBigBro's rehab facility (an hour away) to deliver hearing aid batteries. He has not had functioning hearing assistance for five weeks since "it's not their job" to get him batteries although the shelter-in-place and other quarantine restrictions meant that we were specifically prohibited from bringing/sending any (YES, WE ASKED). And then they complained that he couldn't hear. Wait until they find out that the h-aids don't help him much - he's that deaf (male line, both sides of ancestry, Toots is too). It's going to be a swell day <sarcasm>. Coffee... βββ... planning... coffee... πππ¦ππππ¦ππππ¦ππππ¦ππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all!

Good morning. I woke up to rain. Lots of rain. It rained all night, especially from 3-6 a.m. My rain gauge ran over at 5" so I don't have an accurate measurement but DebDoesWW, I may have caught up with you! It's slowing down now and I am hopeful it will make the roads passable. DH and I have dental appointments this morning so I'm hoping the roads open up before we leave. Drinking coffee and enjoying the cooler temps!

was awoken at 5 something in the morning to the sound of a really bad car crash. i sleep with the windows open lately because of the cool breezes at night, but that also means i'm hearing all the goings-on outside if there is anything noisy, such as a car crash (i do keep the fan on for white noise though). i was trying to figure out how that even happened considering there is not much traffic these days. i heard the tire screech sound and then the inevitable metal crash sound. i'm guessing it was someone fiddling on their phone or under the influence.

Iβm in. We had a wonderful visit yesterday with mom yesterday. It was great to see her. A storm came through early this morning and knocked out electricity. Of course I was still awake so made my way to the bedroom where electricity was still on. The only left over this morning is the microwave which is not working. This caused breakfast to be switched to cereal and yogurt. Tasted good and got me moving into the day. Tracking and hydrating going on as I keep smiling and focused on blue.
