This morning we are mounting an expedition to Toots' DBigBro's rehab facility (an hour away) to deliver hearing aid batteries. He has not had functioning hearing assistance for five weeks since "it's not their job" to get him batteries although the shelter-in-place and other quarantine restrictions meant that we were specifically prohibited from bringing/sending any (YES, WE ASKED). And then they complained that he couldn't hear. Wait until they find out that the h-aids don't help him much - he's that deaf (male line, both sides of ancestry, Toots is too).
It's going to be a swell day <sarcasm>.
