I will plant seeds today! I've been saving the large plastic boxes that the greens come in from Costco for mini-greenhouses.

Good Morning, Dear Ones:Lisa, thank you for setting us up for today. Its been overcast, very cold and windy this morning - terribly unpleasant after yesterday. I just plugged in heat mats for my seed trays so that they'd stay nice and toasty warm. Almost all seeds have germinated which is so cool! There are a few places where there appears to be no germination. That's possible because one of my cats figured out how to get her paw in the hole of the tray-cover's vent and may have mucked a few things up. I will reseed as needed today. All-in-all, I am very happy with the germination-rate. Oh, Lisa, you are in a bit of a pickle with your DIL's shower request, aren't you. You are the host, right? Where's Miss Manners when you need her. I found this article (link below). The writer talks about an alternative to "getting the word out" without putting it on the invite. I don't know the writer or the site, so take it for what its worth. I am so sorry you've been put in this situation.
Carol: Do plant some seeds! So therapeutic! I wish I had a heated, plumbed greenhouse! How's the weather up there on The Lake? Do you still have snow? I like your health goal from yesterday and am using it myself today.
I may have to, officially, rejoin WW just to give myself the kick in the pants I need and get off this sugar/carb thing I've got going. I've been counting calories instead of points and ever since the holidays and my IBS misdiagnosis, I've not been on plan. I haven't lost any more weight. And then there's my fitness program. Or lack thereof. Eek! Pat: Have you ever tried a Kabootie for you back? (A chairseat wedge.) I have the sense you have a desk job. My PT recommended it for me and I got mine yesterday (Amazon). So far, I like the way it feels on my tush and, now I just have to be mindful of sitting up straight. Even the nicer office chairs seem not to be built for proper sitting (the back of the seat slopes downward slightly, offering no support.)

Thanks, Susanne! I've read many articles along the same lines. I feel sooooo old! I am trying so hard not to be judgemental. Let me leave it at that.
I'm watching 'Reign' about Mary, the Queen of Scot. Awesome costumes and jewelry, and the setting is beautiful!
