Karen, you might also check Walmart.com along with Amazon Pantry. The TP is in a section of the hallway where I'm unlikely to trip over it and it only takes up about 1/2 the width. Now that I've said that I'll probably go splat next time I pass it! I'm starting to rearrange the guest room supplies, so I may move it back there. It's still hot and hazy out. The dust is supposed to move on starting tomorrow. It will be nice to see the sky again!
Big excitement on the neighborhood Next Door page is that a mother bear and 3 cubs are wandering around. We haven't had any rain with this dust, so they're probably hungry and thirsty. They've been on my street and the street leading into it, so they must've passed my house at some point. Several people have had bird feeders destroyed with the poles bent to the ground and iron fences ripped open. And of course, they've gotten into trash bins for those that keep them outside. Not sure how much you can tell from my avatar, but the mother bear is huge. Yikes!

Linda Her surgery is still on for tomorrow.I just squeaked in on the knee replacement.Covid was declared a pandemic on the day I had it done.I think we are pretty well tied for the dumbest governor.
Karen They closed all the bars in Texas except for to go drinks.Abilene's bar refused to close down which is why they had their license suspended for 30 days. It wasn't because people were infected there. The bar association is now suing the state over the closures.Yes TX has as Abbott calls it paused further openings and restaurants have to scale back to 50% occupancy starting tomorrow. The first yellow watermelon we got from our friend wasn't ripe but this one is delicious.Kenneth never snacks in the afternoons but he snacked on it today. The soreness isn't as bad today. It was already 80,humid and hazy by 8:00 so instead of walking I rode the recumbent bike plus getting in my hourly steps this afternoon in the house.I have done my exercises and will go back to PT tomorrow.
Linda TX has had to close the tubing places as well. They are saying too that they aren't concerned about the younger cases to be as bad but if they spread it to an elderly person that would make it worse.Pence and crew came to TX today and they had a news conference with Abbott. No masks worn by Pence.Abbott at least wore one but took it off to speak.
Kathy How much TP do you have?LOL.

Becky, we did the same here with closing bars except for takeout and scaling restaurants back to 50%. LOL on the TP. I have 7 packs of mega rolls, so I'm good for quite awhile. They are only 6 packs, so they don't actually take up that much space. I only have one full package of paper towels left and a couple of double rolls.

Linda, we aren't getting any covid numbers today. They broke the system and aren't saying when it will be fixed. I have to wonder if the numbers are through the roof and they don't want to make that known until they can come up with a plausible reason that will avoid a freakout. I have to wonder if the 65 and older are the only ones responding to the texts so that the ones they are contacting. That brandy sounds perfect for making herbal medicine. So many brandies are less than 100 proof so I can't use them. Wonder if I can get it here. Surprised you don't get buzzed but sorry about the headache. I think you will need a thicker folder for July.
YOWZER on the bears, Kathy! Are you able to take your trash out in daylight right now? Be careful when you go outside any time of day. Those are cute cubs but that's one big mama. Good thing you don't have a feeder up. Yes, please don't trip over the TP. That would not be a good thing. I talked to a NC GF yesterday and she told me that one of our other GFs fell at home and tore her ACL. You don't want to join her on a walker. Good luck rearranging Storage Central.
Becky, closing the bars probably didn't make some people happy, but it was the responsible thing to do. Too bad they don't have a statewide order to wear masks. But then we don't either and the only thing saving us from being where you are is our population is less than 1/4 what yours is. I hope PT goes well tomorrow. It's great that you're able to get back on the bike. What kind of machines do they have you using in PT? I wouldn't have walked outside either in that heat and humidity. Have you eaten all the melon now?
Where have you been this weekend, Chele? You started us and never checked back.

I am officially a tp hoarder...,Costco sells packs of 30. I have six! Accumulated them over last two months when it was plentiful and I would not be depriving anyone. Lot of paper towels and kleenex too. If nothing else, I can skip shopping for that for a long time. Managed to occasionally find a Lysol kitchen cleaner. Still have most of food we stocked in March...two People cannot eat that much! I buy organic milk which usually has sell by date of three months later because it is super pasteurized, i figure things will get really bad and I may really be stuck home. So we are prepared...I hope.
Someone said Harbour Freight has 10 packs of three ply masks on sale. I think I may check on that when I really have to mail something tomorrow. It is a mile away. We have cloth, but it would nice to have extra...I guess cloth wears down?
