Tales from the Scale is a weekly check-in/accountability thread. Post your questions and thoughts Ups, downs, maintains To weigh or not to weigh Why the Scale Lies What does/doesn't work for you on the program And anything else you want to share about your program and the trials and tribulations Whether you hug your scale or have banished it to the garage, Tales from the Scale is a great place to share. Good luck everyone! Bring on those numbers! ð Here we are, midway through the year, and what a year it has been! ððĪŠ Did anyone join in on last week's 1/2 pound challenge? ð How did you do? We had some fabulous losses last week here, let's do it again! With everything else being so out of control in the world right now we can only control things in our own little bubble. For just this week let's lose just 1/2 pound, that would be at least 13 pounds by New Year's!! For those of you maintaining, well done and keep going!!!

Still maintaining below WW goal.
After 3 months of only home cooked food, and grocery items only delivered to my home, I've begun to get some restaurant food that I pick up curbside. Not eating out, as well as not having any access to junk foods or sweets (I don't keep those kinds of things in my house anyway) has been helpful to me in losing and maintaining my weight over this time. Now that I've expanded my bubble, I have to be really careful about staying within my daily/weekly calorie allowances. This will definitely have me facing some challenges.

Susan & Fin, I also fixed food at home during the pandemic. The problem was I brought foods home such as cake that I never buy or bring into my house. You are both such smart ladies for doing so good during the pandemic with weight loss. Congratulations to both of you! I am 10 pounds from goal, gained almost three during the pandemic so now it's time to lose it and get to goal. It's very hard to lose weight at this age, I used to lose so easy when younger but not the case now at this age. Fin, WTG this week on the 1 pound loss!!! I was down the 1/2 pound we said we'd lose so now 9 1/2 pounds to go to GOAL Do you want to join me on another 1/2 pound this week Fin?ðĪ
