We are deciding whether a trip to DBigBro's apt should be on our agenda today. We know that the cat "is covered" as far as feeding goes, and we will be there later in the week as DBigBro transitions from rehab back home (date TBD, but on target for mid-to-late week). So we're moving slowly on this sunny and gonna-be-hot day.

diva49, I will join you with the coffee mug held high. But, I first have to finish my glass of ice water that I drink after my walk. It was so muggy and warm when we walked. 80 degrees at 6 a.m. is way too warm for me. This is why I miss walking early at the mall. The mall security won't let us in until the mall opens at 11 when everyone is there so I don't want to go then. Doing laundry today. No other plans for the moment. Have a great day, y'all!

I'm in for a cuppa coffee! Happy Monday!
It's another HOT one! I'm forgoing my walk only because I didn't get out the door by 8:30 and now it's way too hot. Heck, it was way too hot at 8:30, but I was going to give it a slow try (I'm not working too hard on my pace when it's this hot)! Even my dogs think it's too hot, but it doesn't stop them from wanting to BE OUTSIDE! Big dog will ring the bells to go out as soon as she come back in. Crazy things!
It was a quiet weekend. We stayed home and I was OK with it. The less I have to be with the in-laws the better!
Busy work week to try to get budget figured out to be sure we can hire people to teach for the fall and to pay our grad students. It's always fun (NOT)!

It's a stinker here too at 93. Hopefully the thunderstorms this afternoon and evening will cool things down a little. The A/C is cranking.
