TRACKIN' TUESDAY - Because I want TRACKING to become 2nd nature to me... so I have to keep on tryin'! I want to get SO USED to tracking, that I even do it on the weekends! I want my tracking to stay within points each day - not be satisfied that I am tracking - but be satisfied with the points used each day! I want/need to be more "in control" and not have to second-guess my choices!!
I did track yesterday - I will track again today. I am not sure what dinner will be - but it WILL be a chicken dinner of some sort - Tracy's is cooking!! I think she said salsa chicken, most likely that means with black beans and rice? It will be manageable - no matter what.
WATER: Drank 100 oz of liquids yesterday, and about 68 of those ounces was plain water! I am not taking seltzer to work much any more, so that I will pour that "one more" bottle of water!
I do have a "plan" - like I said I need to just get through this week and next, then on my vacation week - there will be some "changes" coming!! Starting to make a few of those "changes" now... instead of waiting for the vacation week to do them all! LOL
OK Let me catch up on yesterday... if I have time... I didn't want to get out of bed this morning - so running a little behind!

Mornin' Sue... Up with the birds today, eh?? Sounds like OT this week - good luck!
Move it Monday was OK... 6 out of 10 (I think it was)... not a ton of steps, but moved more than I do some days! Not at all sure what today will bring - but will try to get moving and tracking when I can!
Christine: Sorry it's back to work for you - what days are you IN the office now?? Have you had to leave Lindsey's room yet??
OMGosh - YES... I missed Jo's BD yesterday... so sorry Jo - HAPPY BIRTHDAY (a day late)!
Gabrielle: YAY to getting everyone together for your birthday! Glad it was a happy way to celebrate! OH No! Hopefully Ed can get that darned throttle figured out, and you DO get to just enjoy the car for the rest of the summer! Oh - IS it a "summer" car?? Or being in CA maybe an all year round car?
I haven't googled Brookline, but will try to do that today. Apparently the hospital will NOT allow family inside to wait! UGH! Of course this time we do NOT have the option of the hotel, and I will be by myself - so this could get ugly! LOL I plan to do some walking... not just sitting in the car... but will also need to know there is a restroom somewhere close by! IF she has to be there real early... I will get her to the hospital and then take my time in the hotel that morning, before checking out at 11. Then I can even sit in the lobby - for a while if I have to! YAY for your friend walking 365 days!! I made the same general commitment once - a long time ago... walked to work and home every day... not a long walk but it added up I guess! Yes, I know it IS possible for Nancy to get out once in a while... hoping that day will work for her ♥
Ahhh, time to get back tot he office huh? Good for you! Glad you can have the option of both - working part time in and part time OUT of the office!
JO! Oh dear... sorry for your day! Hey CLOVES... put a few in your drawers, it should help keep the ants OUT. I even sprinkle cinnamon around and push it INTO the cracks of my counters - where the counter meets the wall... good luck! Glad Steve was there to help you - but I get it - those little buggers are nasty! ICK! Hey I also used some clove and cinnamon OILS out on the patio... just under each table leg - and so far (KNOCK ON WOOD) We have not had ants on the tables since!
Sorry can't help you with your nails or your brand new chair... hmmm, did Steven maybe borrow it when he moved out?
Hope your ice cream cake was yummy... and a chance to see Steven... enjoy your new sandals!
Jenny: Ah, yes, another day for you! NOT having to go to work on a Monday is a good thing!! I have 2 in August off! YAY! YES schedule to use that PTO so you DO NOT LOSE IT GF! Your 4th sounds like a nice day... Fireworks, and sparklers are all illegal in MA, but i have a box here - that Matt bought years ago in NH! I think a friend of Ken's was going up - so Matt had him get him some, whatever - they are here! We lit a few sparklers, but not the fireworks... I just don't know how/where to dispose of them! So the box just sits on the shelf! Good luck heading back to the office today ♥
Shelly: Yikes, sorry company showed up a full day early! What a SURPRISE huh??? Sounds like a pretty busy week - YAY for going to other houses too - so you don't get stuck with all the prep and cleaning! Hey - no worries... while you are traveling - if we don't hear from you - we'll catch up when you get back! Just enjoy your time away!

Good Morning I Tracked my day as best I could - I do have the app on my phone too but for some reason I just prefer tracking on my laptop... Yesterday was Day #1 back in my office full time. It was fine. Apparently not everyone is back but then I'm assuming there were folks still on Vacation. I STILL have 4 days of Vacation left to use before end of this month...will probably use a few Mondays. That day just feels the hardest for me each week to get moving LOL Lindsey continues to drive to and from her apartment a few days a week. I'm FINE with that as part of me feels that was our agreement for her to start working. She does like her job at the local Brewery but they are not busy - is it because they are still 'new' or is it COVID? Not sure - but Carly and I went this past Sunday afternoon and sat on their patio - it was gorgeous!! OH MY! More like a winery and very fancy outdoor seating - very spaced apart - and it was good to see most tables were full. Their craft beers were good and we had a ton of fun trying a flight! Linds did awesome in working her customers for those tips LOL I guess she told the owner to schedule her Sundays as she's not doing anything those days anyways and she's solo that day at work, which means all the tables are hers to work. Let's hope business picks up - this owner also has a VERY successful busy Brewery on the far East side of town so we are confident he can make this one work too.

Good morning!
Well, we usually would have met this morning in a small group to run, but the coach is out of town so we are staying home....this means I have to hop on the TM as soon as I am done here (I decided to treat myself to a cup of coffee first like I would usually do on a Tuesday). Yesterday at work went fine...wound up being there most of the afternoon and had some calls that went until 7:00 pm. I think that today I am going to make a list of the things that need to be done between now and mid-August and start really focusing on specific projects as I can. My boss is going on a week long vacation (camping)--this is his third one (he is the one who flew to NC in April to see family)---not sure how he has the time (I mean ability to leave the work)...but it is what it is!
Carole: I hear you on the bathroom thing in Brookline---I was telling DH that it is a miracle that I haven't gotten a UTI since COVID started. It just feels like we should be careful about using public restrooms. I will tell you that, in CA, all Starbucks have restrooms open and they are reasonably clean so that is usually my target location if I can't make it home. I hope that it is a nice day in Brookline for you! It sounds like you have some great plans for vacation to feel better---good job! I love time like that where you feel like you are setting up some good healthy habits. Hope that today is a good day for you...Oh, we actually have quite a bit of rain here so the Corvette will be a late spring/summer/fall car. And I also prefer the early morning or evening when the sun isn't beating down -- so, I won't be driving it every day, but what a fun thing to take a drive into town on a Sunday morning with DH, have a cup of coffee, and make the drive home....just for fun. Looking forward to those days.
Jo: Oh, I am SO sorry that I missed your birthday---I am glad that it was ending on a good note though! Uggh to the chain of events the other day--and ants! They are terrible around here in the summer too. Darn nails...is there any chance you can go get a manicure and let them clean them up for you so you just feel better? I hope so--might be a nice one-time treat. I am so glad that your DS#3 could be there for DM---that must be painful. When are you leaving on your trip? I know that it is soon, right?

Sue: Wow, lots of hours of work for you! Yay! Glad that this has opened up for you for now. It seems like it will be good for more people to become familiar with what good worker you are too. Christine: Wow, the place Linds works sounds wonderful! I love doing flights as well! Our local brewery shut down permanently (due to COVID and $ lost ) but we have others and the flights are so fun to try. Glad that the apt is closeby and manageable for the drive. I hear you on Mondays--they are hard! It sounds like a good idea to take a few off. So glad that work went okay! We are really looking at assessment and what districts might be able to use to assess the levels of kids at the beginning of the school year---especially grades 1-3. NWEA MAP is pretty expensive .... hope that you all have that figured out (I am sure that you do!) Shelly: Wow, a full day early? Good for you for taking it all in stride! Love hearing about your family-filled week--enjoy!Jenny: It is hard to go back, isn't it? Yes, we DO need to hear your story...I will see about setting up a Zoom call this weekend maybe. Hope that work goes well for you! When/How is Audrey's school year starting this year? We have so many different things going on!Hello to Lisa, Nadine and all who follow. Need to face reality and get on the TM. See you all later!Would everyone like a Zoom this weekend? When is better---Saturday, July 11 or Sunday, July 12? Let me know and we'll get it scheduled!

Evening all....worked a little extra tonight and will head in at 6:00am again tomorrow....the holiday weekend really had us buried from minute one!! Still working on finishing up some of yesterday's orders....hopefully I can get the last big one finished up by 8:00-9:00am tomorrow and get started on today's work...who knows what will be in the queue tomorrow but both Gloria and I are hoping we will be caught up by tomorrow afternoon...time will tell!!
Time to catch up a bit....
Carole....honestly didn't move much yesterday...never did even look at my step count...I was glued to my desk!! LOL, yes, you were busy and moving over the weekend!! Sounds like making NO PLAN is your best plan...you're plans always change!! The ambulance calls really put a kink in the day!! I'm sure your sisters didn't mind being "used" to swim with Zoe...but glad you could take advantage of them being there to get a few things done!! Sounds like despite all the changes in your day....you were able to get most of the chores done!!
LOL Carole...sometimes our movie theaters only have 15-20 people in them anyway....depends on the movie and how early in the run you go....if you go when it will soon be over, sometimes there are very few people there!! We have 16 screens at the theater in town!!
Yes...by Sunday the swelling on Jason's face was down and thankfully yesterday when he was down spreading more grass/mulch near the bees he didn't get stung!! Oh, Jason did say that Sarah seemed more "herself" yesterday so I guess after "sleeping on it" for a couple night's she knows she's
LOL Carole....I challenge you to try and "stand up" for yourself every now and then!! You know you are getting better about scaling things back, like this weekend's meal and letting your sisters entertain Zoe in the pool...YOU CAN DO IT!! Small steps!! Oh my yes...mom ALWAYS gets the blame for everything!!
Unfortunately Carole...while Nancy KNOWS she needs to "unplug" sometimes, she has a hard time doing it...like you, she takes on way to much for one person and has a hard time letting go even for a couple hours!! WOW....sounds like your stay-cation is going to be packed with things to do and you'll need to go back to work to relax!!
Carole it sounds like you are like Jason....you have to actually "work" the hours to get OT??? At Sheridan, vacation & holiday time counts as "worked hours" since they are earned and a benefit...so last week when I worked 3 extra hours and had a holiday on Friday, they will be paid as OT, not just straight time!!

Christine...bummer the vacation is over already!! Glad you enjoyed being "unplugged" and you really packed a lot into the week!! Some chores and some just fun!!
Gabrielle...yes, birthdays are funny this year thanks to COVID but mine was good too! Glad you got to have a nice visit with DM, the boys and Tyler's GF....any family time these days is a treasure!! Have to laugh at the car overheating but sounds like Ed has it under control!! ME TOO Gabrielle...my eyes would likely have been swelled shut!!
Jo....WOW, sorry your Sunday was such a disaster!! Hopefully things improve quickly!! We had ant issues about 2 weeks ago....they came out of nowhere and were in the kitchen and bathroom but not where there was food...Jason got the stuff he swears by and in a day...problem solve and haven't seen one in a long time! Sounds like the glass of wine and FB chat with you sisters was much needed!! Glad DM felt better after her chat with DS#3.
Happy Belated Birthday....sorry I missed it! Yesterday was a blur!!
Jenny....unfortunately vacations do come to an end and seems they go so quickly!! Definitely get those days scheduled so you don't lose them!! Thankfully we can carry over 40 hours and now that I'm hourly, the rest get paid out the last check of the year!! I still need to watch Hamilton....might just do it this weekend! Glad you had a nice 4th...our actual day was quiet!!
Shelly....WOW, sorry for the surprise of company a day early!! I'm sure you manage w/o a problem!! Glad you had help on the clean up!! Sounds like lots of family time coming for you and days w/o cooking are a bonus!! No worries about being MIA...enjoy your family time and we will all be here when you get back!!
OK...I can't sit in this chair any longer....will have to finish catching up tomorrow.....still need to eat some dinner or a snack...ate lunch late because I was so busy so wasn't hungry when I first got home!!
Sweet dreams all and waves to anyone I missed....
