Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning all,
I had a busy morning yesterday, didn't get a chance you post before work.
Ruth & Dottie - sorry to hear that you're having sleep issues. I know what that's like. I had a strange dream a couple of nights ago and woke up sobbing. That happened one night in the summer too. It's been a long time since I cried in my sleep.
Sounds like everyone is on target for the Christmas weekend. They moved our luncheon to tomorrow and asked if I'd bring a pasta dish instead of dessert since we've had cookies all week. I plan on making baked ziti tomorrow morning. Hope it turns out well. Pretty easy to make.
My new tasks at work keep me busy at night. At least I'm not sitting around watching the clock.
Enjoy your day.

Joyce - Enjoy your Christmas luncheon. Why did they change the date? DH's DDIL asked me to bring cookies or a dessert to Christmas Dinner. I want to come up with something good yet different...if time (and my brain power) allows. Glad to hear that your night goes by quicker at work by having something to do plus it adds to job security!
PT isn't coming until 2'ish. I need to get moving and head out to the grocery...FRESH THYME. Today is double ad day...they honor last week's sales along with the new sale that starts today. This afternoon, I hope to get the rest of the wrapping completed or close to it. I'd sure like to enjoy the last couple of days before Christmas w/o having a bunch of tasks that must get done.
I'll try to CBL

Joyce, thanks for the start up. I’m sure your ziti will turn out great. Always nice to have a pasta dish at a potluck. Nice to have new tasks that keep you busy, makes the time go faster.
Cathy, we plan on leaving next Wed. if everything goes OK. Weather, packing – etc. Supposed to be in the 50s next Tues so that makes it nice for packing the car. We still bring down too much, even though it is a lot less than we brought down the first 2 years we went down. Hope John does OK with his PT today. Important for him to get up and get moving. I’m sure your dessert for Christmas will be fine whatever you decide to make. That is a nice useful gift that John’s kids gave him. I really like a hand held shower head, makes it easier to rinse my hair.
I did sleep better last night, don’t know if it was from exhaustion or what. I took a half of a benedryl, not necessarily for sleeping but because my eczema (it is mainly on my hands) has gotten so bad since the weather has changed. During the day it doesn’t bother me but at night it itches and I scratch and scratch and wake up with sores on my hands. I have tried putting special gloves on but somehow I take them off and they end up on the floor when I use them. I will take the other half of benedryl tonight and hopefully get another good nights sleep and maybe my hands will start to heal. Hi to Ruth and Jill, everyone take care and stay warm.

Good night all. Got laundry finished and we have clean sheets on our bed! Picked up just a few groceries, but still need a big trip for Sunday. Spent several hours working on another slouch hat for Carol, this one is in her school colors. To wear now as her hair thins. Talked to her the other night and she had gotten her port. Was going to be used for the first time today. Prayers continue for all of our loved ones. More tomorrow.
