I have a question for everyone who was on points plus back in the day. Was there a time when fruit had points on points plus?

Before PointsPlus, the plan was called Momentum (that's when I joined Weight Watchers), and all fruits had points during those days. I don't remember exactly when fresh fruits became zero; it was probably when PointsPlus started.

Holly Gail is right, that was the whole gimmick with the introduction of PP!

Many foods went up in points on Points Plus. Oatmeal went from 2 points to 4, 1% milk went up to 3, cereal went from 2 to 3, rice went from 4 to 5, and many other things. Although it was nice to be able to sprinkle a few blueberries on your cereal without having to measure or count.

Fruits were free but a medium sized apple was considered two servings of fruit as was a banana.

Just to clarify* I think we all know not to eat fruits with abandon, especially doordie50 who has been at goal forever and a day. Also tammypp who has been with us since the start ❤️ Some people use the terms free/zero interchangeablely. Example, If I put my old treadmill on the curb by my driveway, I don't put a sign on it that says zero dollars. I write FREE! Plus, that was actually how the list was referred to back in the day, the free foods, freebies, etc., way before foods even had POINTS. So some old timers still use the term they are familiar with, and that is okay here. ❤️

I see I've stepped in it. I can't believe I didn't make the zero distinction here. Glad no one got hurt lol
