Toots & I are heading for ShopRite and then for Cedar Crest.
DBigBro is scheduled to leave rehab via transport (wheelchair) at 10 AM today. The aide arrives at his apt at noon for a 12-4 shift. The nurse evaluator from Caring People will come in between noon and 1 PM. His meal for tonight will be delivered around 1 PM. Our target is to leave Cedar Crest around 2 PM.
There is a tropical storm heading for NJ.
Coffee... ☕☕☕... feels like I will need LOTS of coffee...

TGIF! It's been a long week!
I'm waiting for the rain to pass to possibly get a good LONG walk in! I haven't been able to the past two days and I'm going a little stir crazy!
On a positive note, my son's FIL is out of the hospital! Two weeks after a double lung transplant! AND IS NOT ON OXYGEN! He had been on O2 for the past 3 years all the time! The family celebrates with his new lease on life and are forever grateful to his donor and their family. They are the heroes here. It's a great gift they gave in their time of sorrow. I have always been willing to be an organ donor and have encouraged my kids to do so. It's the ultimate gift you can give.

Good luck today MJ, hope it all goes smoothly and thank you for getting us started. neen WOW that is so amazing ❤️ I wish it was the opposite of how it is now actually, that you'd have to opt OUT of donating and that donating was the norm. So many don't think to check that little box. So I am still on the hunt for a TV, who knew they stopped doing the PIP/Multi-Screen whatever the heck the company calls that feature. You would think with gaming being so popular that every TV would be doing it. 🤷♀️ I am in and blue-dotting along with pamthomas46! Have a great day everyone! ☕️☕️☕️ |

neen, what wonderful news! I became an organ donor after my mom lost her sight and almost lost her eye due to shingles. I felt that if I really believe in what I say I believe about the afterlife, then it would be very selfish for me to have organs rotting in the ground if it could save someone else's mother's eye- or FIL lungs. I took Benadryl last night and slept till noon today! I think I slept too much, because now I have that fuzzy headed feeling. But I am getting stuff done. Stay safe everyone (especially those in the path of Faye).

I’m in. Another day of blue skies and sunshine. I slept in this morning and am spending the day relaxing which is a good thing. Tracking, hydrating and smiling as I move around the house is all happening this afternoon. Hoping each of you is having a healthy day full of reasons to smile.
