I'm IN. 💞🐵🙈🐵🙉🐵🙊🐵💞 Yesterday was another DivaBlender, concentrated (mostly) around the family abode. It was a nice change <hahahahaha>. Today we're heading up to DBigBro's with his groceries (Lamb chops? He wants LAMB CHOPS?!?! I can't remember the last time I spent that much money on a tiny bite of meat...) and a rather long "Check-On List" (check on this, check on that, check on t'other thing). We'll also deliver (and install) vacuum cleaner bags so I can get my Shark back (and wash it out again) and his new scale (requested by the CC-visiting nurse). And I will start the investigative process on how he can turn in his leased Rav4 (he is giving up driving; he told Toots on Friday and the CC-VN strongly recommended it when she met him on Saturday). We're not racing to get up there and our plan is to leave no later than 2 PM <stop snickering, DebDoesWW >. Coffee... ☕☕☕... here's to US on a Monday morning... <mug raised high!>... 🌸🌼🌻🌼🌸🌼🌻🌼🌸🌼🌻🌼🌸🌼🌻🌼🌸 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all!

diva49, good luck with the continuing Russ saga---take some time to breathe!!! Good morning. The plants have been happy with the almost-daily rains. Tomato plants are loaded but no red ones yet, waiting patiently. The rabbit population has exploded here and a few have found happiness in my garden, much to the horror of some of my daisy plants. I need to spray repellant around---I put some chili powder around the favored plants last night and DH reported that he looked at the garden this morning and was met by a smiling bunny, undeterred by the chili powder. I have a big jug of the animal repellent and I need to refill the empty sprayer and go out there and do a proper job. Wishing all a peaceful day. KOKO.

Hello everyone! Another sunny day where I am, but we've been having major storms during the middle of the night. I sleep through them. Luckily, this afternoon is slightly cooler. One of my husband's friend's mother passed away today. Her mother was 99, so it wasn't a premature loss, but the sad thing was that his friend hadn't been able to visit her mother for a long time because of covid-19. That's really so terrible. At least his friend's sister was allowed. Her mother got shingles and that must have been too much for her. It's an odd coincidence because my 78 year old father just got over the shingles, but he is obviously much stronger. Gosh, I hope shingles isn't going around, too! I can say that it has been noted that mental health issues have increased notably during this pandemic, understandably. I also read that suicides are up 1.6 % which is a lot! There was no real precedent for preparing for such stress. I hope that there are some steps put in place for the future. I have also read that sickness and death from other causes are also up. Again, understandably. In my view, the total numbers of deaths from coronavirus-19 don't fully reflect the numbers it has, in indirect ways, caused. fullmahina, I have noted many positives in the environment and wildlife since covid-19. That, I guess, is at least one very nice thing. Birds are singing more joyfully, I think. They just plain seem happier. The rainy spring seemed to make the plant life happier, too. I'm sure the bunnies are cute, but I know that some other cuties near me are enjoying my herbs a little too much.

I'm in. Late, late, late. I don't think I've posted much before noon since the work-from-home started. It's amazing how much things around here have changed *sigh* Last night, a doe and her twin fawns stopped to graze under the bird feeders just outside our bay window. They were the smallest, I've ever seen here. A real treat! fullmahina, good luck with your critters. Some of our stuff was recently nibbled so we sprayed Saturday. Omg that stuff is gross! lol cyndee, I think you're right about the shutdown causing a bounce in the wildlife. The birds have been out in force with lots to say. Love the new pic susiq25679, I'm grilling flank steak with red potato and salad. I can use the leftover beef for stir fry. Have a nice evening everyone!

I’m in. PT exercises done and meds counted out for the week. My mantra KOKO continues with tracking completed, moving as steps add up, and hydrating is focused on increasing water consumption. Looking forward to a quiet afternoon with many reasons to smile. Hope you are smiling as well.

i'm definitely getting too old to drink too much! my ex husband brought me my favorite french champagne for my birthday yesterday. we split that and then had a few more glasses of wine after that. i was so lethargic and light headed until about 1pm today! thank goodness for working from home on a day like this. i think i'm going to go dry for a couple of weeks and give my body a rest from alcohol. i never really drink all that much ever since the pandemic shutdown. maybe a glass or two within an entire weekend. anything more than that doesn't seem to agree with me!
