TRACKIN' TUESDAY... I admit to not tracking (again) the past several days.... anyone else give it up over the weekends?? UGH! WHY???Other than I don't eat much - and what I do eat isn't "good"? Combined why bother to track it?? Maybe?? I can go back and track yesterday... when I track today... but I know it's not quite the same as tracking before eating - and only eating what you track!!!
I am still doing the intermittent fasting - weekdays - so tracking isn't that difficult! I mean c'mon, only 2 meals - HOW can I be too busy to track that??? LOL Especially when the lunch is pretty much the SAME day after day! ??
OK So today... maybe I will track my lunch for every day this week? I didn't get today's lunch ready last night - got caught up on folding clothes instead - so will have to throw a salad together again this morning! Maybe tonight I will get the rest of the week made and packaged!
Been sleeping "better" the past few nights - but still wake feeling tired... groggy... blaahhh... need to work on this next week! (vacation)
Took the truck for "detailing" yesterday - will make an appointment for my car in the next couple of weeks... just love when it comes home all fresh and clean - almost "like new"! Anyway, by the time we got the truck dropped off and Ken got me to work - I was LATE, so I must go earlier today... MUST... since today is injections and I have to leave early!
Need to refill my coffee and I'll be right back ♥

Gabrielle: WOW You had a pretty productive day Sunday! WHEW!! Glad the fruit stand opening was a good one. I know I'd be there if I could be! Aww, sorry the long run was so hard - and HOT - but you did it! You always amaze me - and we are all so proud of you! ♥ HA! Yes our little Zoë STILL does not eat MUCH of anything!!
Interesting analogy of a new path to WW... I am still planning on getting a whole new "jump start" next week... although (as usual) my week of no plans is filling IN quickly! UGH! Just.Say.No.!
Glad a few of you could gather for a Zoom call... I don't even remember what I was doing at 4:30 pm!
MONDAY MINDSET: So I was able to "reel it in" yesterday... even though I didn't track, I know my eating was good. I did allow myself some candy - but I also know when tracked it fits in my tracker!
Leftovers last night - not the healthiest, but not much of them either! LOL SO none of us "overate"! LOL
Christine: YAY for a Monday off!! The day went fine... the usual... felt very tired and resentful for most of the day! Kathy was a big help getting things out and cleaned up... when my sisters got back in the pool with the girls after dessert, I came inside and starting packing things up for folks to take home - got stuff put away... I felt good getting it done! That way when everyone said they were leaving - we didn't spend yet another half hour doing all that!! I know I sound very UNGRATEFUL for my family... I don't mean to sound this way - I truly don't... I am just TIRED of these long draining days! IT was so VERY hot... but just didn't feel like getting changed to get in the pool... easier to sit in the shade for a while... lazy is the word for it - plain and simple - LAZY!
Anyway - 1 more to go!! This Sunday is for Zoë, and my aunt... with less mess and clean up!
Oh Christine - sorry your DM is once again heading to dehydration... good for you spending time with her and getting her to drink something!! Hope she heeds your advice - are temps down a bit for you all this week?? We are only 66 this morning - quite a difference those 10 degrees make!
Oh dear... moving Linds "big things" AND having company over... yeah, good choice to wait on the moving for a week! What's the occasion for having the sleep over??
OMGosh Christine - Good for you letting the Prince "have it" over Queen B and her childish crap! UGH! IS he "opening his eyes" to what's happening??
Add to that you had to take the Contact Tracing Class?? Had to LOL that the Prince took it too...
YAY to getting some stuff out of the house! We too have to do that here!! Tracy has brought some stuff downstairs - and Here.It.Sits.! Nope, as soon as Dr gives her green light - OUT IT GOES!! See how my vacation is quickly "filling in"? UGH! But it will feel good to get some things done too!
Gabrielle: LOL Thanks, I am TRYING to find a day to be here - home alone... but with Tracy out of work... not sure it will happen! If I have to, I can wrap Tracy's arm so she can get in the pool for a bit - but Sunday was too soon... today she can unwrap it - and swap out the bandages with band-aids... and take a shower... my concern is the chemicals/bacteria (?) in the pool or hot tub... never did ask her last night if she called the doctor??
WOW... Hard to believe the open bars and restaurants are NOT the cause of the CA surge in Covid!! Must be why MA is STILL in Phase three... and will be for some time! No large parties... groups of 100 can be outside, but no dance floors/bars... so weddings are still not being planned! Also funerals... due to capacity in funeral homes, at 25% is not a lot of people allowed to be inside at one time! Certainly not enough for our family/friends! So still we wait!
I agree I just don't see an "end" because so many people are so sure of their "right" to do whatever they want! It's a very SAD - SAD world we live in right now!
Sue: Oh Dear... well, OK so the glitch made your Monday easier?? LOL
Yes - thanks, it was weird... we had ZERO Rain, but beautiful rainbow! LOL Must have been raining somewhere! Yes, we cannot keep them OUT of the pool any more! LOL
Sue - Ahhh yes... you DID focus on not letting the virus add to your weight... I on the other hand (once again) FAILED at that!! No surprise there!! I let the stress of "everything" get to me... and it has not gotten better yet!
Yes this week is last party of the year!!
HA! Yeah, Tracy is getting out of the house THIS week... Thursday and Friday she has plans to get out! Next week - not so much... we'll see what we can change by then! Seriously I need a day without her chatting me up all day!
UGH Sorry the Sheridan plan doesn't seem too promising for you {{{hugs}}} Oh yay another weekend with the boys ahead!! LOL Yes, Tracy is feeling it with it being her right arm, but she has been very good at getting things done! Our table already has mail/bills on it! It happens... mail comes and it has to sit somewhere for ME to handle!
OK Time to get moving - not going to be too early today! UGH! Lost track of the time... ♥hugs♥

Good Morning ~ back to work today...it's all good. Summer schedule is less rushed...we had Rotisserie chicken last night for dinner with left over broccoli salad and watermelon. Will take the chicken for lunch over a large salad today. Temps are normal, mid-70s and plenty of sunshine so no complaints here Still sleeping much better - is it my Ivory soap at foot of my bed?? lol I am telling ya, TRY IT if you ever get crazy leg cramps at night. I am not one to fall for the placebo effect. I just remember reading about this trick when younger, in Dear Abby or Ann Landers columns lol I did get a good morning walk in yesterday - earned 10,000 steps throughout the day. We lugged about 5 large leaf-bags of donations to Goodwill. First stop was to the consignment shoppe where Linds sold about $60 worth of jeans, Columbia fleece and sweaters. Then we drove across the large parking lot and dropped off at Goodwill what was left. Not bad. I checked in with DM throughout the day, trying not to nag, but gosh she is stubborn. Be evening she said she was feeling better just mostly tired. My younger DB was going to check on her after his work shift. No big plans today - I am reading, reading, reading again on Bright Line Eating plan. It's the No Sugar, No Flour plan - at first glance it does look so simple and a no brainer, but, we know from experience it is HARD and there is a LOT of time consuming planning that goes into such a lifestyle so I want to READ everything again to see how I can make some major adjustments here.

Morning Carole, Christine and all yet to come...
Beautiful morning this morning...the calm before the HEAT WAVE that arrives tomorrow!!
The COVID news is getting dim...the re-closing or scaling back of opening things in many states is crazy!!! PA added 4 more "must quarantine" states to the list!!
Need to finish packing my lunch and get this day started....

Good morning!
Well, count CA in on the scaling back of opening due to COVID. We have 58 counties and currently 30 are on the "watch list"--the state set criteria that you had to meet to not be on the list--things like % of ICU beds available, % of cases per 100,000 people, etc. Our county is not on the watch list but the governor shut down all bars and indoor eating places in ALL counties (which is sad but understandable....all people had to do was leave their own county and drive a few miles to the next county and go out to dinner). Fortunately, hair salons and things are only closed in the watch list counties (that is my hair guy---hopefully he will find a slot here in our county --- he actually lives here). Hopefully this will help somehow. People are still doing their big gatherings though, sigh. And the pressure is picking up for schools (you've probably seen it in the news). Fun times.
Carole: Thanks for starting us off! Today will be my 3rd day of pretracking my day including snacks. I am REALLY hoping to make a habit of it--I love knowing what I am making for dinner--especially with vegan limitations. You have been my idol in this department! So glad that Tracy is not removing the bandages, etc. How is the pain? Hopefully it is okay. Listen here....JUST SAY NO!!! Really! You need to have your time to yourself--just one day!! I really hope it can happen....sorry that it aligns with Tracy's recovery. Hey, we know that you love your family! But that doesn't mean that you have to enjoy the clean up and all of the preparation. I have to admit that, as I am getting older, it takes me more days to recover from hosting a late party, all of the clean up, etc. I get it! Enjoy the NO COOKING next weekend I have never had my car detailed (I have only cleaned my own) but it would be nice! Someday maybe! Hope that you have a good day!

Christine: Wow, I hope that your mom feels better! Have you ever been really dehydrated? I did that one time (it was a hot day, not too long of a run but I didn't drink enough) -- it was AWFUL. I got the chills and I was so nauseous and no amount of water would help. I hope that she is feeling better and (like Carole said) that she remembers this feeling and stays on top of it. No sugar or flour would probably put me over the edge...and I don't eat a lot of baked goods. This whole vegan thing has been hard enough and I've got no more patience! On the other hand, I know people who have said that they couldn't believe how much better they felt---GOOD FOR YOU for researching it and making sure you are prepared! You will have to let us know how it works!
Sue: Hope that today at work isn't insane after that glitch yesterday....sounds like it might be a possibility? LOL, I thought your story was GREAT. Yes, we will share on the next Zoom. Wow to Colton's team and yahoo that Sarah can go with Josh next weekend! Such a special time for Colton! And you get to have the boys -- fun time for grandma and grandpa. Wow, lucky for Shea to be off base and have that house to himself! Isn't it great that the got on with SW and all before all of this happened? It just seems like the stars aligned
Hello to all who follow. I need to do my pre-tracking, shower, and get going with this day. Have a good day everyone!

Evening all...well, the glitch finally got fixed so the big job finally loaded and got posted....got started on it about 10:00am and made decent progress but still have probably 4 more hours to finish up....Thanks to the glitch there were MANY other orders mixed in so it takes a lot longer to organize it and separate the orders....never really started entering the orders and printing the pick lists until just after 12:00pm.....
Carole...since I haven't really been tracking for a LONG time I gave up on the week....I mentally track all along but it's not the same as seeing it on paper but I just don't have it in me right now! Honestly Carole it seems the older I get I have become a 2 meal a day eater....I eat breakfast mid-morning and lunch about 12:30-1:00 when I'm working and sometimes I eat "dinner" but it's usually more like a snack....my big meal is usually lunch as I don't like to eat too late. On weekend I do brunch and usually and early dinner. Thankfully when I made my lunch for yesterday I made a 2nd for later in the week...this morning I made tuna for lunch and made enough so I have enough for tomorrow too...I just left it in the fridge at work and will bring my roll in the morning when I pack my lunch box!
That's odd Carole...sleeping better but still tired and groggy??? Maybe it's just a "funk" thing and as you work through more of the funk that feeling will go away??? I, or should I say we, have never had a car detailed EVER!! Bummer dropping off the truck made you late yesterday....hopefully you can make up enough time today so you won't have to go in early again tomorrow!
LOL...it took Colton until he was about 6-7 years old before he really started to eat and try more things without a fuss.....I'm sure if you keep offering Zoe different foods she will eventually try some of them and "expand her palate"!! Glad you could clean out a few more leftovers....did you have a lot left from the party???
Carole....I don't blame you for coming inside and getting things packed up and put away while your sisters took the girls in the pool...there is nothing worse than cleaning up after everyone is gone and honestly relaxing for a bit in the shade on Sunday afternoon/evening after the party is not lazy....it's relaxing!!
Carole...I would NOT get in the hot tub if I were Tracy....wrapping her arm for the pool is one thing but the hot tub would be more of a "germ fest" because the water is warmer. I agree...until she got the OK for a shower, the pool was too early!!! I'm sure she enjoyed her shower today!! LOL!! I remember how much I enjoyed my 1st shower after my TKR. Could have stayed in there for an hour!! Will Tracy have any PT for her arm or just at home exercises?? Well, maybe she can shift her plans to be away to one day next week so you can have some quiet time...Ken will be home Monday right???
Yes, that is why our table gets so cluttered...usually Jason brings the mail in and tosses everything on my end since I'm the one who pays the bills and takes care of pretty much everything!!

Yes Carole...the glitch made my Monday easier but NOT my Tuesday!! LOL! I'm finally in the "easy" part of the process...easy but tedious and time consuming!! As for work...I'm kind of bracing myself for sitting at home again come Monday....who knows, I will "ride it out" and hope that they will call me back a day here, day there to keep pushing off the COBRA.....but will admit the "limbo" is getting to me!!
I am excited to have the boys...Friday is Kellen's birthday so it will be his day to pick everything!! I'll text Sarah tomorrow and ask her to check with the boys and see what they want for Friday....will probably leave them with Jason and shop on Saturday as usual so that can wait. Might actually grab pizza on Friday on my way to get the boys and enjoy it there with everyone for a "party" for Kellen!! Spend a little time down there and then bring them home for the weekend....will bounce that off Sarah! Sounds like a good plan in my brain!
Christine...I'm sure you are enjoying the less rushed summer schedule....once the school years starts it GO GO GO!! I do love those rotisserie chickens....can't go wrong for $4.99 for a fully cooked chicken....definitely worth the $$$. Our temps are mid-80's but LOW humidity today and tomorrow....it's heavenly and I'm loving it!! Thankful the "heat wave" is coming a day later now so tomorrow should be just as awesome as today!!
LOL...your Ivory soap makes me giggle!! Hey, if it works, whether it's real or placebo...go with it!! I haven't heard Ann Landers or Dear Abby in ages....definitely a "blast from the past"!!
Glad Linds made a little $$$ at the consignment shop for some of her cloths....always nice to get those things out of the house! After my huge purge last year before Mason's yard sale I'm in good shape now for closet space...I did pick up a couple new summer tops at Walmart....many of the tops I wear for work are starting to "show their age" and figured it was time for a couple new ones.
Glad DM is feeling better...oh, I know stubborn...remember, I have a DM just like yours and when she digs in her heels, she can be VERY challenging!! Hopefully DB also encouraged her to continue drinking and each day will be better! Glad you are taking the time to reread the BLE info and getting a good plan. Yes, most plans seem easy at first glance but changing our habits and choices it a "horse of a different color!! You've got this!!
Oh...one of the states that PA residents are suggested to self-quarantine and Sheridan requires is OK, guess I'm not heading to visit Shelly anytime soon....makes me wonder if Nebraska has any states they are suggesting you quarantine...Hannah was in OK for a week and just got back on Saturday...but for her, 14 day quarantine is not an issue. Another is Delaware which sucks for Todd....they have a beach house in DE and usually head down every other weekend, leaving after work Friday and coming home Sunday, sometimes adding an extra day....guess he and Kim (she also works at Sheridan) will NOT be heading to the beach for a while....Sheridan goes by the PA recommendations so at the moment, there are several people who chose to still go on vacation and are now quarantined.....not sure why people would still go! I know if we hadn't cancelled out TX trip early but knew that we would both need to quarantine when we got back, we would have cancelled the trip anyway right up until a couple days before. As much as I pray it doesn't happen, if NE would be a "hot spot" at Christmas we would cancel because neither of us can afford 2 weeks off. Well heck, if I'm not working, I may still go but that is a long ways off so who knows what will be going on at that point!
Gabrielle...I had heard the CA was not making all the counties close back down many thing but going more county by county based on specific criteria.....I do get the closing of bars and inside dining be as we all know...people will cross county lines in a heart beat just to do what they want!! I'm glad that your governor is not "punishing" all counties by making things state wide...that, as much as many complained about, I like about Gov. Wolf...each county was it's own entity and based on each county's stats...the opening progressed. So far, PA is doing OK! Yes, more cases since everyone is "green" but hospital space is fine and not an issue so the new cases are manageable and not stressing the medical professionals!
You know Gabrielle...I have to kind of laugh at Hannah, while I will never tell her that, but she has no idea how lucky they are that Shea got in with SW when he did...YES, he is still on the bottom of the totem pole thanks to the MAX getting grounded and few new classes after his...then COVID struck...but SW is the most financially sound airline currently and they are doing all they can to keep every pilot, flight attendant, ticket person....EVERYONE! By getting employees to take early retirement, others taking ETO (Extended Time Off) for up to 5 years and only collecting 2/3 pay...they hopefully will not have to furlough anyone. While the $$$ might be tight for a bit....SW will bounce back faster than the other airlines and this will definitely be a learning experience for them on how to "tighten the purse strings"! Now, they are not frivolous....and do not live outside their means but they know that they are comfortable and have the "extra" to do things...but even when we Face-Timed with Hannah on Sunday one of the boys asked for something and she said "that is an extra, so for now, NO"!! And yes....Shea is lucky to actually be in a house!! A bit of normal in the chaos!!
Yes...Sarah is happy we will watch the boys so she can watch Colton next weekend...she hasn't watched him play in weeks thanks to COVID or other constraints....with such a crazy season with limited practice and restrictions it's fun to see them doing well against all odds!! Thankfully since we have only been able to attend one game this season, they put my number on the "update list" so I get an inning by inning update!! I love that but will say, we both miss being at the ball park watching for ourselves!!
Waves Jenny, Jo, Shelly, Lisa and Nadine...hope all are well, happy and healthy!! ♥♥♥♥♥

Hello
Well I had an incident this morning that triggered and issue with my stomach so I had enough and finally went to zoomcare and they are sending me to have blood tests and a gastronologist. Thank the lord I think its time to change doctors. I just can't do this anymore, my tummy has been so naughsiated all day.
I enjoyed our zoom call and all the laughter. It's 8:30 and ready to go to bed
