Double checked another thread was not started - here we go!! Another Wednesday and Another chance to improve on our Water intake Happy Wednesday - half way through the week already! Reading the book on Bright Line Eating so my mornings are a little tight to jump on here too - wanted to wave and say hello... Jenny - ugh, no. Sending positive Vibes your way that the stomach issue settles down so you can be more comfortable. So so sorry. Keep us in the loop... Gabrielle - Ohh Boy...large school districts in CA are NOT reopening...saw a very brief interview with your CA Secretary of Schools on CNN last night, "Tony" but he didn't get a chance to really state a case - Chris Cuomo just led him down the path, "So it's not safe to open schools" thought which was more validating Cuomo's thoughts, not hearing Tony's thoughts...anywho...thought of YOU. I'm getting antsy what this return to schools will look like - we unveil our Plan tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath - so far it looks like a cluster - no matter what Educators are suggesting, DL is doing it HER way and she is NOT even an educator!!!! Ridiculous... Sue - let us know if you hear anything for next week's work. Yep, HHH days return, for us today. Plenty of Scattered Thunderstorms with it... Carole - must have missed you...hope you had a decent day yesterday and again today

Good morning!
It's so nice---only 70 at 5:00 am and it just feels better. The only thing that would make it even better would be a breeze...maybe one will stir up soon. Today I will go in for a socially distanced/masked meeting with Superintendents about Re-Entry of Schools (what else, LOL) and I have dentist appt-- I had cracked an old crown (I'm sure I was gritting my teeth) and today the permanent one is put on so it should be pretty quick I hope. I also have a "socially distanced" meeting at 4:30 IN A PARKING LOT when it is supposed to be 92 degrees...can you believe that? It is one of the Boards I'm on and, when I suggested that it might not be a good idea and that I could help set up a Zoom, they said, "We'll have ice and we need to see everyone in person." I would estimate that 80% of the group is aged 70+ and it is about 12 of us. Let me tell you, I think that it is a TERRIBLE idea. Oh well!
Christine: Thanks for starting us off today. So you must have seen Tony Thurmond, Supt of Public Instruction on CNN? I am sorry to hear that Mr. Cuomo used it to his advantage. I do have to say that Tony T's message is pretty much, "It is a local decision to be made by local school agencies and their public health officer." So, our meeting is today with our Public Health Officer--the poor woman has been working so hard --and she is not inclined to be a decisive person. The "bigs" announced Distance learning for 100% of children in the fall: Los Angeles, San Diego and now San Joaquin (in the central valley--a hotbed for COVID), and multiple districts in Sacramento. Our county has 15 districts and we currently have 350 cases (since March), zero deaths, 2 in the hospital who are in the ICU (no others in the hospital) so we are still considered as doing "okay"....but the pressure around us is really making the conversation a tough one. I am curious to hear of DL's plan!! I really am! Okay, now you have me interested in reading more about BLI...what are you reading? Is it online? I am curious! Hope that your DM is doing better now and that you are feeling okay as well--any evening walks? It sounds so humid....maybe a walk down by the water? Hope that you have a good day!

Jenny: Oh, I am so sorry to read about the stomach issues! A good gastroenterologist can help though I would think. Have you ever had a colonoscopy? I really like my fellow who has done that for me a few times now....hope that you can get in soon. Saw you pop in early too--I hope that it isn't keeping you from sleeping! Take care.
Sue: Sounds like a fun weekend for you --- and a great idea to have the pizza party at Sarah's house before bringing them back to your place---we know that you will have a good time with them. Is the location of Colton's game one where Sarah and Josh will drive back and forth or do they have to spend the night away from home? Either way, it will be a nice "date weekend" for them as well. I am not surprised to hear that work got hectic yesterday (although I am sorry to hear that the orders got mixed in with the big one)....I have never used a system like that, but I imagined a big machine that spits things out one end and something got jammed in there and eventually came flying out at you! Yes, as Christine mentioned, we are hoping that you have more work next week. Reading about your plans for December is such a reminder of us not having any idea about what things will be like. So crazy! I look back at emails from March 13th and it reads like "it is so surprising, but we are closing school buildings for one week." and we thought that was amazing...who would have ever guessed? Anyway, hope that today is a good day. for you. I remember when you were a faithful tracker--you probably are pretty good at the mental tracking and it will eventually come back to you. Glad that you are recognizing the motivation is not there and not beating yourself up about it!

Carole: I hope that you were able to get your injections and that you have a nice, clean car! Our cars seem to be our only escape lately, LOL. I need to clean mine at some point. Hope that today is a good day.
So, my goal has been to pre-track this week and I have been doing that. Yesterday I did not follow my plan though. I am still going to count it as making the pre-tracking effort, but still bummed that it didn't work out --DH wanted to order mexican food and mine was actually not too bad (taco salad with no cheese or sour cream - it had chicken), but still not what was planned. Today will be better. So last night, for the first time, I drove the car on our local roads for a bit. DH wanted me to (he's been driving it every so often) but (I am sorry to say) he isn't the best at giving thorough directions....important things like, "When you push the clutch, don't push it all of the way down"...things like that. So, it was a rough start, but was better by the end of the drive and it will take some practice. Every 5 speed I have ever owned, I pushed the clutch to the floor of the car so this is just different....it will get better (if he will let me drive---he acts like he will, but he is not the most patient person on the planet). Okay, need to get going. First meeting is at 7:30 am. Have a good day ladies!
