Bob is vacuuming the living-dining room. Big unused space except for Playing with dog Who looks out the windows days and puzzles on dining table. He takes a room of carpet each day for three days. The rest is laminate or tile. So today I dust there and clean laminate floors with Bono. I am back to doing a bit outside in shade mornings again.
Tonight is potato salad, cole slaw and hot dogs by request. I can skip the bun, keep small portions and add sliced tomato. Trying to get it in gear.
Did find nice peaches yesterday ...or was it Tuesday?Days seem so long. Going to make Bob half a peach cobbler. I can just skip the topping. Sigh. Got that set up except for peeling and slicing peaches.
need to make his potato salad.
it was decent at ten, only 94, so Micki got a walk that is still in shade on the way back. I also trimmed off some excessive Mediterreanean palm fronds falling down at bottom..nice palm but multiple trunks and sprawls. Nasty curved spiked thorns on stems. Felt good to get outside..maybe 109 at three.

Chele, thanks for the start. Lucky did better than DuhSantis with his mask! If you didn't see the pictures, he put one on sideways with one ear loop going over his head and the other dangling from his chin. Linda, my living-dining room is similar. It's at the front of the house and I'm usually in one of the other rooms. I used the dining room table for my work computer, so I should make more use of it now that I don't have all the work stuff in there. I'm chuckling at you cleaning floors with Bono. Now, that would be entertaining! I haven't had a hot dog in a long time, but they are good once in awhile. Dinner sounds good. Becky, I've done mail in voting for years and I think it would be really difficult for fraud to occur due to the mail-in ballots. The way it works here, once you're registered to vote, you can request a mail-in ballot to be sent to your registered mailing address. They don't send them to people unless they request them and you have to put a signature on file with them. The ballot has a barcode that identifies it as your ballot and only you can use it. Once you mail it in, you can login and track the progress of it on the website. If the signature doesn't match, they'll reject the ballot and you have a chance to resubmit it. Karen, hope you had a good Osteo session. It's thundering here and only 89, so you may be warmer than us today.
Hope everyone has a good Thursday.

Linda, keeping busy right now is a good thing, even if it is housework. I, too, hate dusting. I bet both you and Micki were glad to get out and walk. This house confinement is nerve wracking. How was the potato salad and hot dog? Did you get the half of cobbler made?
Kathy, cleaning with Bono would be amazing. I had to look up the picture with DuhSantis and the mask. Sigh! So you are the one getting all the rain. Still dry here. We get clouds and wind but no rain. The heat and humidity are back.
Karen, I hope you enjoyed Osteo and were able to make your stops without hitting too much traffic. Iggy jas been mulching again and fixed the outdoor faucet which had begun leaking again. He looked up how to on You Tube. How is Dale doing at work?
Denise, I hope your floor stays Covid free for all your sakes.
Liz, I hope you are hanging onto your sanity.
Becky, what is the news in the foot? Any improvement?
We had to wait on a handyman today for a quote on fixing the soffits in three places. He was supposed to arrive at 9 am and by 10 he still wasn’t here. I had to text him and he had a family emergency during the night. He rescheduled between 4 and 5 and at 5 txted he was running late. He finally showed up at 5:45. He is the 3rd handyman we contacted. Now we wait for the written estimate. The first two never even called back. While we were waiting we discovered the garage door opener was not working. Iggy tried to fix it but did not have any luck. So tomorrow we wait for the door tech. Ah, home ownership. It’s a blast, blast, blast.

Thanks for the start, Chele. Cute video of Lucky. The clerks at our local PO need to take lessons from him. I went to a HUGE Joann and picked up a few things on the way home "from Osteo. I also had to stop at the bank in KVL because our local branch was closed due to some kind of "staffing issue. I thought that was rather odd for a good-sized regional bank. You can learn anything from YouTube. Work seems to be going ok for Dale. He seems to be happier than his previous term of employment there. Isn't it amazing how so many of these small contractors are either too busy or don't seem to want to work? I don't know how people with a residential home and a vacation home do it. One house is more than enough.
Linda, yikes on the freak accident but I'm glad you were able to repair the pitcher. With just the 3 of you, I wouldn't think the carpets should be terribly bad. Good that Bob helps with the cleaning. We intentionally went with just hardwood and tile when we built so we wouldn't have the off-gassing of the carpet. I love potato salad and was going to make some but the CSA ran out of some of the ingredients I needed before I got to the order page and Dale forgot to put the order in when the order window opened. So I won't have potato salad this week. I hope Bob enjoys his cobbler. Only in AZ would 94 degrees be considered decent. We got to 92 and that was warm enough.
How's the foot today, Becky? I suffered with PF for over a year so I feel your pain. And, yes, that would not explain the pain on the top of your foot, so maybe there's more than one thing going on. Did you get an input on what to do about it? When do you go back to PT? Sorry about the August weather you're getting in July. How's the new fan working? I hope it's keeping indoors tolerable. I agree with Kathy that mail-in voter fraud is a very low risk option. There has only been one case in the past few years and it was the Republicans who did it. It was in eastern NC, so I heard a lot about it. I have my mail-in ballot ready to fill out and mail in. I had to fill out a lot of information to even get the ballot and there are a lot of safeguards built in on the back end as well. I think Trump is trying to discredit mail-in voting ahead of time so he can blame it if he loses the election.
Kathy, we have been having thunder and even some lightning here but no rain so far. I wish we would get some. LOL on Bono and cleaning. That never occurred to me but then I'm not the U2 fan that you and Chele are. Osteo went ok today, better than last week, despite continuing sinus problems. I used one of my new masks and it worked well. Speaking of masks, maybe DuhSantis is reluctant to order a statewide mask order because he doesn't know what it's supposed to do.
Sorry about your BIL, Liz. One of my former employee's spouses got diagnosed before Thanksgiving and lost his battle before Christmas. You either catch it by luck or sometimes it's too late. There needs to be a better way. I hope the equipment install is going well. It's almost Friday!
Denise, how are the raspberries?
Heard from the realtor right after dinner. The closing got moved up to the 27th of July but they want to take possession before closing--like tomorrow. The house is sitting vacant, so we signed the agreement. They really love the house and can't wait to move in, which is what we wanted in a buyer. If they back out, they have to pay us $100 a day. I hope that won't happen. They already paid to clean the gutters out and are having the carpets cleaned, so I think this one will be "the one". We'll know for sure in 10 days. Sinuses are still reacting to something. Mimosa is in full bloom but I have never reacted to that in the past. It sure feels like ragweed but that's not in bloom yet. I may be a slug for the next few days.

Thanks for the start Chele.Lucky was so funny.
Kathy In Texas it is easy for someone to find fraud in anything.I think it's good for some states but just wouldn't work here.Anyone 65 or older or disabled can do a mail in ballot.I saw on the news in some state a woman got a ballot for her deceased cat in the mail but it wasn't from the state. It was some company trying to scam the voting.I would love to have your 89 degrees and any of your rain. It's supposed to be hot and dry the rest of the month.
Chele No improvement with the foot.It seems to get worse as the day goes on.Yuck on all that waiting for people to show up.
Karen I'm glad Dale seems to like his job better this time around.I have been researching online and the hurting on the top of the foot sounds like tendonitis but since it also hurts on the bottom who knows. She said to stretch it and put a frozen water under it to roll under it and ice it and I had already iced it.When I told her about the things I had already tried she said she would make me a honorary therapist. LOL.I don't go back until next Wednesday. They didn't have any morning openings for Monday and not only is it too hot to go back out in the afternoons it's inconvenient. What did you do for your PF?Scooter's new fan is doing great except it's just too dang hot and we have to clean the AC filter in the morning.I hope the house sells for sure this time.

Ouch Becky, hope that does the trick.
Somehow i missed Iggy’s new job.
Trump's new post office head change the rules to slow mail...get those ballots mailed way ahead of time because they have to be there by the day or not be counted.
I got some adjustable bands with hook on each end to put it behind your head attached to mask loops so they are not on your Hearing aids.
seemed like a normal summer day between classes and work. I went out to mail something..no mask, just mailbox and back into car. Cooked, gardened, dog walked while it was not bad, and worked on a new puzzle. Nice to be outside. Nice for one day to feel normal.
