Hi all, Doing better today. Slept so well last night! Lots of spiced tea and a few chocolate chip cookies! The Dr. said I can a take a little more of my Klonopin- which I actually take for leg spasms but it is an anti-anxiety. The amount I was taking obviously didn't do anything for anxiety She said to up it for a few days and then make a virtual appointment if this is still going on. I have three days of a virtual Autism "Boot Camp" from 9-4 and then today I supervise someone on line at 5:00. I will be tired and should sleep well. Thank you again for all of the love and support you show me.

My diet has not been ideal. I'm a little afraid to step on the scale, but know that I should soon. Stress and more stress. It's a real weight gainer situation. This morning has already been a pretty intense one. I called my father and had a very very serious talk with him. My sister and our husbands want our dad to finally return home from the assisted living at the end of the month. Our father is afraid to face his fears. I told him that I understand the fears/anxiety, but we must face them or they jail us. We need him at home in order to get him the proper help he needs and confirm a most serious diagnosis that we've known about, but he's never shared about. I didn't utter the word, but I told him that my siblings and I know about a preliminary diagnosis that is quite concerning. The pandemic basically jails him at the assisted living and he is exhibiting extreme avoidance. Only if he leaves there can we get him to the appointments. My sister has worked her tail off making arrangements to help make transition back home as smooth and supportive as possible. hpeterson1951 , please be careful with the Klonopin. I really hope you do not take it long-term. I have been stuck on it for 10 years and it does nothing now. The length of time on it basically makes it next to impossible to get off of. I call it "Klonopin Jail". I resent this medication. Benzo withdrawal is among the worst kinds of withdrawal there is. I have some personal experience with this, as I also took a different benzo for some time (for a condition similar to Restless Leg Syndrome), in addition to the Klonopin. I wish there was some other medication you could take instead.

Happy afternoon! The storms are here!! I just made the DH run outside and put a few of my flower boxes on the ground so they don't get blown over. OOPS! So in VW last night, our coach told us the WW is changing the way VWs will be run. You will not have to access them thru your phone and will need passwords (or something) to log in from a computer. I bet it's to cut down on the people who are just digital getting in to them. Here is the link they gave us with more info: www.weightwatchers.com/us/m/cms/how-it-works/virtual-workshops But really it looks like if you use Connect, you can still get to them. We shall see! Other than that, not much going on here. Track and planned for the day. Back to work I go! Positive energy to all!

agreeing with cyndee, to be careful. my ex husband had a heck of a time with benzo withdrawal and he was only on it on full dosage for less than a year. he and i don't talk about it regularly now that we're not married anymore but i believe that 2 years later he is still weaning himself off it because full cold turkey was not advisable. his symptoms during withdrawal have resulted in many side effects.
