Weve had a rise in cases but at the hospital its not to bad back in april there were a lot of cases. No cases on the floor where i work which is maternity. Took a flower arranging class online its a video where you follow along and they send you some flowers and a vase im not real good at it but its something to do and its fun. Hope you have a good day

Karen, I am glad you made it to AVLand back with no issues except for the fawns. I am glad you all avoided each other. My car needs a wash as well. No fever so just allergies. Enjoy that haircut. I wore a 3 ply paper mask to get my hair cut and it did not get a lot of hair stuck to it like the cloth mask would and it is disposable. I took a nap yesterday and forgot all about Sarah. Getting rid of utilities at other house will sure lighten the load. Do you have gas and electric there or just electric? Have you seen Pepe Le Pew today? A co worker had a skunk come through her cat door one time. She opened the door and waited for it to wander back out. Denise, did you get to arrange your flowers? If so, how did they turn out? Do you have a Michael’s or Joann’s near you? They have good artificial flowers. Kathy, what flavor of Haagen Dazs did you get? The sore throat went away yesterday and came back this morning so it is just a function of post nasal drip. We finally got some decent rain overnight and a nice drizzle this morning. Our area is in a moderate drought right now after having a very rainy spring. Linda, I am lucky Iggy likes to cook. We are on our own for breakfast and one of the other of is fixes lunch and usually leftovers, soup or salad for dinner, bit even we get tired of our own cooking. Yesterday we had takeout Thai. How are you, Bob and Micki doing today? When the doggie wants to eat, the doggie is relentless, I know. Changing Micki’s and Bob’s schedule would be hard. Maybe you could sneak a 10 minute delay every few days until Micki gets used to it. Liz, how is the new bldg coming? Becky, ouch on the foot tendinitis. My right arm finally stopped hurting somewhere between the steroids and anti inflammatory medication. I hope the steroids do the trick for you.

Kathy, speaking of deer, is your new avatar from your yard? I went through the car wash today so I could confirm no damage and there isn't. The car looks amazing when it's clean. I haven't had any non-dairy Cherry Garcia lately and haven't seen it on BOGO since last summer. What flavor Haagen Dazs did you get and how does it compare? Congrats on only one substitution. Hopefully things are getting a bit more available. I did some stocking up in AVL yesterday for pantry stuff and a bit more at Walgreens this morning on my way back from my hair cut. So if we get locked down again any time soon, I thought it might be tendinitis, Becky. Good that you now have a diagnosis and treatment. If you no longer have pain you just cancel the follow up appointment? When will your new bike arrive? Good luck with the steroids. They always mess with my appetite, but you're pretty disciplined, so maybe it won't be as much of a challenge. Linda, I know how a hungry dog can get. Arya gets absolutely hangry if dinner is late. How is Micki doing, other than chewing your feet? I agree with Chele about sneaking time forward a few minutes at a time until you get the meal schedule where you want it. I think we are set. Now we just have to replenish what we use in the meantime. Turtles are one of my favorite animals. Cute meme. Are you managing to keep it under 110 for the high today? We are a bit cloudy here as well, Denise, but are still predicted to be in the 90s for the 9th day in a row. I just heard thunder so maybe we'll have a shower. Sorry you are seeing a rise in covid cases but it's good that it's not at the April level. Our cases are still rising here. In fact, we have almost as many cases total as your state in my state. We don't get our daily counts until 3 pm, so I won't know how far up we've gone since yesterday until then. But I know all the counties in our region will increase and we're not doing anything to change that. I do have a box of disposable masks, but I usually use cloth masks and have a mesh bag that all the used ones go in to be washed every week. With the exception of days like yesterday, I usually have plenty and don't have to use a disposable one. Chele, no fever probably equals allergies, so Iggy can relax. I used a different mask today that has a wire piece across the nose and got close to zero pieces of hair under the mask. Here's a link to the Sarah Cooper interview. She was quite entertaining. Definitely worth the watch. Yes, not having to pay electric, water, insurance, and taxes on two houses. It would have cost us $3K to run a gas line so we didn't have natural gas there. There is a problem, though. The new owners got the electric switched but they were supposed to be responsible for utilities starting last Friday and they got it scheduled to start on closing day. So I don't know if we are going to try to recoup or just let it go. The water company doesn't do anything in the middle of a billing cycle, so we'll get stuck there anyway. Enjoy the rain. I hope we get some as well. How are things for you, Liz? Do you have an upcoming doctor's appointment? I did a bit of cleaning after I got home from the haircut and Walgreens and did the cleaning that needed done. No plans for the afternoon except get ready to go to KVL tomorrow. I woke up in the middle of the night was a pretty intense calf cramp and it's still a bit sore, so I probably need to put heat on it. I also need to wrap Dale's birthday presents as tomorrow is his big day.

Chele, the flavor I got is Haagen-dazs HEAVEN Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Light Ice Cream. I'm saving it for a weekend treat. I don't know why I still honor the weekend between being retired and being stuck at home anyway, but I still do. My car also needs a wash, although I got caught in a heavy shower a couple of weeks ago which did help get the pollen off. We're actually an inch or two short of where we should be for rainfall on the year, but I'm sure we'll catch up soon. We got a heavy shower around 4am this morning and it's sprinkling now. Glad it's just allergies and that you finally got some rain.
Karen, the deer are from the same neighborhood as the other avatar. It's only a couple of miles away from here. I got a picture of a family of four here, but it wasn't sharp enough to post. I haven't tried the ice cream yet, but will post a review when I do. It's not as light as the B&J, so I'm sure it's good. Or does that make it bad? I've been buying a bit extra each time I get groceries so I'll have a bit more on hand. I've also been replacing things when I open them instead of when I'm close to running out. I'm expecting this back to school season to be bad since things are out of control here. I wonder how many of the politicians' children will attend school in person? Rick Scott admitted that his grandchildren will be doing remote learning. You're getting close to getting rid of that house! That will be such a relief, not to mention the money savings.

Have fun with the flowers, Denise. Hope hospital stays sane.
Cheke, I get the sore throat allergy drip too...a PIA.
I hope , Karen, you get that house off your back safely soon!
Yes, the start of school is going to be chaos. My dsil heads up preschool and kindergarten for a city district ..big city...350,000. She is pulling out her hair. At least our gov. moved it back a bit, but teachers and drs. Want Oct 1.
We have a lot of MAGA people here though. Wonder if Trump saying masks are good idea will change their minds any. He is not including Fauci. Now that his numbers are down, I think he hates most of the country. His Unwanted Gestapo are only being sent to cities where Democrats are mayors. Cannot believe they fired tear gas in pregnant unarmed kind of women.
Would you believe I actually got to sleep before 11 and shortly after the dog woke me up...dragging tummy on carpet...allergies again. Gave him apoquel. Half hour later, actually asleep again And he us in bed upset, wants out, and yikes, major wind he was telling me about. Dashed around putting down 4 market umbrellas ...nose full of dust. Then could not sleep until 1. Up at five to wake up enough so I would get the insulin shot right after they walked...I am a slow waker. Back to sleep by six until almost 11!
This schedule is not good for getting anything done mornings. EVen though it was only 99, the humidity is up enough to really push that real feel up...until mid Sept. got the rest of the cooked lemons off the tree to go out with garbage pick up tomorrow morning.
cleared out fridge for garbage too. Tossed corn into microwave to cut later. since gym graft in lower front teeth last year, DH cannot bite into corn cob but loves fresh corn.
Wandering around picking up clutter..sense of order inside beats the total insAnity in politics, government and Covid outside.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Chele I hope you are feeling better with your allergies.I cook breakfast,we are on our own for lunch and Kenneth cooks dinner which normally lasts for 3-4 nights so all we have to do is reheat.Did you have headaches with the steroids? I have had a splitting headache from just the 6 pills I took at breakfast.
Linda I agree.Forward is forward.
Karen That is what the podiatrist said.I have enough steroids for 6 days and my follow up is a week from Thursday I think. He said it should feel 50% better after the steroids and better in 2-3 weeks. He said if I do come back he will either prescribe another steroid pack or try something else but if the pain is gone just call and cancel. The bike should be here by 8 PM Friday but I'm sure it will be Sat or Sun before we get it all together.I wasn't hungry until just before dinner and I never get hungry then.I will just drink lots of water. We got up to 100 briefly today and it's only down to 94 at 6:30.Travis County seems to be plateauing a little on cases so I guess everyone is wearing masks.Tell Dale Happy Birthday.
I went to PT this morning thinking it was a regular appointment. The lady who does the assessments had me fill out a form and she measured my bend and straightness.I did have a regular session and they were so busy I actually saw 3 of the 4 therapists there today.I was released from PT today.I could have gone back Friday but I didn't see much point.I figured another hour wouldn't get me any closer to my goals.I'm sure insurance was pushing them to end it since it's been way over the 6 weeks the doctor had authorized. One of them took my hand and was on the verge of tears and told me she would miss me so much.On my way out they all told me they enjoyed working with me and not to be a stranger. In fact one said if the steroids didn't work maybe the podiatrist would recommend PT. I hope it doesn't go that far.Anyway they sent me home with several pages of stretches to do 3 times a day.I know it will take 6-9 months for full recovery or up to a year and it's only been 4 months but I now feel better prepared to do this on my own now.It was kinda scary when she said I would be released but I have this going and will keep up with exercises.
