Let's do a daily post with just ONE THING we are grateful for. With everything that is going on, sometimes it is hard to remember to focus on the good things too. It can be funny, silly, serious, whatever, no judgements here.
Mike is once again my one thing. The annual rumors thread made me remember how much he loved those and how he went digging for all the patent applications. 😭❤️

I also miss Mike when we talk about WW changes. I always trusted his judgment on those issues and he had been around enough to be able to really see where WW was headed. Right now, I really appreciate my air conditioner. I don't know how I lived 8 years in New Orleans as a child in the 50s without A/C but we did it. I also remember living in Houston and there was no A/C in the schools. Windows were opened wide and there was 1 large fan running in the classroom. Of course, we didn't start school until after Labor Day which is different here today. But, still, September is hot, hot, hot in Houston. Whew!

That my little deck pool cooled down enough overnight to be refreshing after my bike ride. It will be a hot tub tonight.

Water - Oh how I take it for granted. We got a robo call yesterday from the township saying there was "trouble" in the water plant here and no outside watering. I never think of what a gift "water" is and also all those who do not have this gift. Marie

I too miss Mike and his input to the discussion.
Another day where it is a/c for the win.

A covey of quail at dusk last evening. linda72, omg, I vividly remember those hot, sweaty summer nights in Minnesota, trying to sleep on top of the sheets. No A/C in the cars either.

lani, I remember a family vacation when we drove from Houston to Los Angeles with no A/C in the car. The windows were down but it was so loud with the wind blowing through. What a treat it was to drive through west Texas, New Mexico and Arizona in the summer. Wow!

Wow! linda, when i was a kid my parents didn't have enough money to pay for us to fly from san francisco to joplin, missouri (to visit my dad's family), so we drove! i got to see things i never would have seen had we flown! they took the route that takes you through utah and colorado. seeing the smack dab middle of the rockies was incredible. it was also the first time i saw haystacks rolled up instead of in square shapes (that was in kansas and probably missouri too). road trips are so memorable.

That I found everything on my list and that everyone was going the right way down the aisles I am HORRIBLE with this!!! With the MS my balance is all askew so I avoid looking up or down while walking, then I forget that the aisles are even labeled UGH I am probably one of the people you guys glare at in stores 🤣🤣 * I do turn around if someone is coming down the aisle because I realize it is most likely me going the wrong way. 🤣

I backed down an aisle recently and I realized I was like the salmon going upstream. My glasses fog up and I feel lost half the time!

Today was my last PT session. I am grateful for all the therapists there. They were happy for me but all said they would miss me.It was the sweetest thing. One was on the verge of tears.
However now I have tendinitis in my left foot and they said if the steroid pack doesn't help I may be able to come back.
