cyndee - It's a tomato basil sandwich on 647 wheat with canola mayonnaise and a little salt and pepper. Now that tomatoes are in season, it's probably my favorite way to eat them. I love "carrot cake" oatmeal. If I have the points, I'll mix a little cream cheese with sugar free pancake syrup for a "frosting".

I love "carrot cake" oatmeal. If I have the points, I'll mix a little cream cheese with sugar free pancake syrup for a "frosting". Of course I'd love that sandwich. I'm from NJ, so we adore our tomatoes. I also know the 647 breads. I should buy a loaf the next time I'm at the store. I have fresh basil in my garden. Your cream cheese icing idea for the "carrot cake" overnight oats sounds yummy. What I usually do as a "frosting" is to simply put a Tbs dollop of low fat plain yogurt on top and then some pan roasted chopped pecans. The roasted pecans are so extremely delicious that it satisfies me quite a bit. I only need 1 1/2 teaspoons. I have been using some light Philly cream cheese with chive and onion for my veggie snacks. I was surprised how far 15 grams of it goes. I had a very long and deep celery stalk and the 15 grams filled it generously. I'm thinking of using less and then putting the rest on another veggie (pepper strip).
