Good morning friends. Slept well last night and so very grateful. We are under a 'fog warning' It's thick as pea soup out there right now.
No plans to go anyplace today...we have all that we need and then some. It'll be another day of just 'doing'
In a bit I shall plan and track my day.
Hope y'all slept well and will CBL

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Saturday!! We had a cool-down again overnight, enough that we could sleep with the windows open. I slept so very well! Could have had something to do with all the walking and gardening?? Nonetheless, no troublesome dreams. I think mine were related to the shingles vaccine that one night.
Since I wrote so very much yesterday, there isn't anything new to report today. We dawdled quite a while this morning, and so I got a late start. I have walked once around the complex, but it is HHH and that was enough! I think I will finish up my 'exercise' on the power rider today. I have a load of laundry in washing, so I can do a set on the power rider when I go down to put it in the dryer and then another one when I go to take them out. It is a very small load, but DH and I each had several masks that needed washing. Now that will be done for this week. I have watered the petunia 'garden' on the patio and that's all set.
Waving hello to Judy (hope you're having fun at the Cape) and Pam (hope you're having fun at Camp).
BBL. Make a great day!!

Back again. Made a HUGE mistake walking to get the mail. Thank God we didn't take miss LuLa with us. 'They say' the real feel is 84 but I beg to differ. It seems like it was at least 100 out there. Man that sun is hot and strong! I will NOT be going out anytime soon as I had a hard time breathing. I was never so happy to come home and get hit in the face with the wonderful AC Ahhh all those little things that mean so much! I've already done laundry...it's dried and put away. Tonight Carl is making burgers on the grille with a side of tomato cucumber salad and air fries. Quick and easy peasy. Glad you slept well, Sue. It makes a world of difference. Smart to NOT walk in the HHH....as I said, I'm happy to park it at home today. Waving to Judy at the Cape and Pam. Wishing all a wonderful day and will pop in later. Right now? More coffee is on tap

Happy Saturday everybody!
Well, we decided not to go to the Cape this weekend. We needed a couple days at home to do some things and now has it and said it’s so awfully hot outside that DH has not felt like doing a few of the yardwork chores he had planned at least yet. Much as I miss being at the Cape, it’s kind of nice to get a break. At our age it seems to get harder and harder to pack up every weekend and shuttle back-and-forth and especially during this pandemic where we have to bring all our food etc.
I’ve done a few things around the house like laundry and a little bit of weeding out and cleaning but not too much. I’m feeling a little tired. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a few days and a headache And I’m not sure where I could possibly have picked that up. I haven’t been within 10 feet of anyone other than my DH and I always wear a mask and even gloves when I go out. I called my doctor this morning just as a precautionary measure and she said that if it’s just a little bit of a scratchy throat and a headache with no fever and no other symptoms to just keep an eye on it over the weekend. I honestly think it’s probably a combination of this horrible humid air and the air conditioning. But I’m glad to be home.
I thought I was on the wrong day because it’s said Friday in the title but then I realized the date was right so I took a chance LOL. Half the time I don’t think I even know what day it is!
I don’t have a lot else to report right now but I’ll check in later and I’m glad you’re both keeping cool. Ann! I agree with you, even if we were at the beach, I wouldn’t be sitting on it today. Too hot for me. TTFN

Hi girls. Finished reading What You Save In A Fire by Katherine Center and really enjoyed it. Now I have to find something else that I've downloaded on my kindle to read. Always hard when you read such a wonderful book!
Judy I hear you on just staying put. At times I find it hard enough to go to Walmart or Hannaford's let alone a drive to the Cape packing all your gear. You made a wise choice. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
Going to check on that kindle....If I'm not back into the cafe, will catch y'all tomorrow. Pam hope all is well with you.
