Good morning friends. Another night of sleeping well. Grateful for that. Today is going to be another HHH day. I'll plan it around the weather. Depending on how it feels to me shall determine how long I walk outdoors.
Sue you are so right. In these very stressful and dark times looking for and holding onto the happy memories and happy things that bring joy are what needs to be done. I did share the Clorox wipes being the new dozen roses with the man stocking the shelves at Ocean State Job Lot and he cracked up laughing...only I used Clorox disinfectant spray I told him that came from a friend in Michigan. He said that he is also going to use it...so your statement is traveling lol.
I am going to give that book Shelter In Place one more day and see if I can't get myself more involved. I'm enjoying it...I just thing it's not a good fit for me right now.
Will CBL.....need to finish my desktop chores then sit and plan/track my day.
forgot to mention that my plastic surgeon cancelled my 8/4 appointment and it's rescheduled for 8/31. I also have a gel manicure appointment on Friday 7/31. It's all good.......

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Hump Day!! I also slept well and woke refreshed - although it was 7:30!! Long night's sleep for me, but wonderful all the same. I sat and drank my coffee waiting for DH to get up and make breakfast - only to remember (almost too late) that it wasn't Tuesday (any more) and I should have made my yogurt 'n berries breakfast. I forgot ..... So I ate bowl of fruit and called it breakfast - done!
I am meeting my VBF at our WW center today. We last WI'd there on March 4th, so I am kind of excited to see the gals and feel somewhat "normal" in that regard. After WI we are going to Mr. B's for lunch on the covered patio - always a treat!!
We have temps in the mid-70's this morning with 'some' humidity, but not terrible. It is going to be upper 80's later in the day, but after that we should have some cooler days on tap. I am more than ready!!
DH and I have decided on pizza and salad supper tonight. My job is to get the remaining half of pizza out of the freezer - then DH will chop a salad when he gets home. Easy as can be!!
BBL. Make a great day!!

Sue sounds like you have a fun filled day on tap. Getting a later than normal start. It's all good.
Took a short walk and depending on how hot it gets may go out later.
It was beautiful last night in the screen room. We enjoyed being there.
Day is planned and tracked . Will pop in later.

Good morning WW friends! We kept Abby all day yesterday after her Monday night sleepover, because DD had to take DSIL for a gastroscope midday. His test confirmed gastric reflux and nothing more serious, thank goodness. Abby and I played about a million games of Crazy Eights, Crackers in My Bed and Yahtzee. She is always happy if she wins, lol. She also watched several movies on Disney+ in the time she was here. She loves the cats and enjoys enticing them to play with cat toys. Poor darling said, "Jude is always in his room on the computer, Anna is in her room watching tv and I'm all alone and it's BORING!" DD says the school has informed them classes will be in person and I am convinced this will be the best thing for the kids, even though it means we will have to go back to limiting our contact with them. Jude, especially, did not do well with online learning at the end of the last school term. He will be in 9th grade, so it is important that he keep up with his studies. After days of rainstorms, we got a break this morning and Debbie and I were able to walk. Garmin, unfortunately, is not operating up to par. Our 3 mile walk at a pace of 17 or so registered on Garmin as 1 1/2 miles at a pace of 36.33. Hopefully, they will get things straightened out eventually. When I returned from my walk, DH told me he had placed a call to his wound care doctor and was waiting for a call back. He noticed a red spot between 2 toes this weekend that is now an open wound. Wound care could not see him until next week, so he called our PCP. He is also booked, but he was able to make an appt. for this afternoon with another doctor in the clinic. He mentioned on the phone that his toe is changing color, so he couldn't wait until tomorrow, something he failed to mention to me. I will not be surprised if they hospitalize him on IV antibiotics. Maybe this will spur him to get back on WW? I hope and pray, because his lack of compliance with a diabetic diet is the only thing he can do to help this situation. Needless to say, my stress level went through the roof, as I know he is probably hours away from another amputation if they don't get this under control quickly. My weight has been steadily creeping upward, so once again, I am attempting to rein in the eating and bump up the activity. Judy - Hoping the meeting with the attorney goes well. Feel free to vent with us in whatever way makes you feel better. Sorry to hear your DF is having such problems, but it sounds hopeful for her, so that is good. Sue - Making our DH's feel loved and appreciated is one reason we are all still married after so many years, I'm sure. Glad you found the coffee maker you wanted. Ann - I'm glad you are enjoying screen room time. We have missed our green room time for a solid week now, due to the rain. Time to put clean sheets on the bed and get ready for my next webinar. I already attended one for SMP. The next one is Alzheimer's related.

Pam so happy that you enjoyed having the sleepover company. I'm sure you both kept one another amused LOL. Happy that the schools will open in your area. There is a delay here....but as to how long I don't really know. I don't pay attention to that as I have nobody that will be attending. I can see where it raises issues.
Praying that DH gets the help that he needs. I can see where your stress level was through the roof! Sending warm and soothing vibes your way.
Just had lunch....now going to putter around. Will CBL

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
I am back home after a much-needed time with VBF. We did our WW WI and I was down 0.3 from last March 4th WI. That's some pretty good maintaining, methinks. I would have liked to be down more, but isn't that just human nature?? Nonetheless, our regular gals were not at our studio, but a fella we didn't know - but was very friendly and took good care of us. It felt good (and normal) to be back.
We enjoyed a great lunch on the patio with only one little rain shower which we heard on the rooftop but didn't see or feel it. The weather was absolutely perfect!! Just talking for a couple of hours and catching up on anything and everything smoothed out all the wrinkles in my life. {{sigh}} We made our next WI and lunch date for three weeks out - before she goes back to school (if they have school in her district). Everyone seems to be so up-in-the-air .... Like she said "leave it in God's hands, and we'll just do what He tells us to do".
We have an absolutely beautiful day here and I DO SO hope it is headed to Judy and Ann. Right now it is 85 but promising to drop steadily. Then we start with a stretch of highs in the low 80's. A perfect Michigan Summer!!
I am going to go read my book while it is quiet. BBL. Waving to all .....

I don't know when I'll get to post again. DH is scheduled for amputation of one or more toes on his right foot tomorrow at 8:00am. Pray for us!

So happy you enjoyed your lunch with your friend Sue. Love listening to the rain.
Yes do send that cool air our way lol.
I sat out under a tree with 2 neighbors. We were far apart sipping sparkling water as we talked. It felt good and lifted our spirits.
Pam praying for DH and you. Please pop in if only to keep us updated. ♥️🙏❤

Pam ~ I am so sorry about your distressing news. I know you are upset and my heart goes out to you. That "being powerless over other people" really stinks!! But you've managed it so well, IMO. You and your DH will be in my thoughts and prayers!!

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. He sees the surgeon in BTR at 10:45 tomorrow morning and then will find out if it can be done at the outpatient surgery center (our preference) or if he will have to go to the hospital and be admitted. His understanding is the surgery will be tomorrow and I hope and pray he is right, as every hour counts when infection is spreading. They gave him a shot of antibiotics and pills, too.
DH talked with all 3 girls, as I made sure he understood this was his job this time, not mine. DD3 is quite upset and of course, unable to come home this time like she did the last time. I am exhausted but not sure I can sleep. I cleaned 2 bedrooms, bathrooms and hall this afternoon to burn off energy, as well as sanitize for DH to come home to a clean home. I will get up and finish the rest of the house tomorrow morning before we have to leave at 9:15.
Keep the prayers coming!
