Tales from the Scale is a weekly check-in/accountability thread. Post your questions and thoughts Ups, downs, maintains To weigh or not to weigh Why the Scale Lies What does/doesn't work for you on the program And anything else you want to share about your program and the trials and tribulations Whether you hug your scale or have banished it to the garage, Tales from the Scale is a great place to share. Good luck everyone! Bring on those numbers! 😊 I really think this kind of thinking is the hardest mindset for members to break. So often it is the good/bad, whole foods/junk food comparisons, even the word "processed" has a bad connotation. Not to mention trying to break the whole "I cheated because I went over my dailies" mindset. I cannot say this enough, the weeklies are there to be used. Start out using them! Track EVERYTHING. For WW members: Don't forget to check out week 4 of the "What Happens to your Body When..." series. www.weightwatchers.com/us/m/cms/article/what-happens-your-bodywhen-youre-active

Although I was down to within 6 lbs of goal 2 weeks ago, I kept bouncing around and as of yesterday was 7 lbs from goal. Oh well. Will continue on.

I met my interim goal of reaching the next lower 10 lb bracket today! I lost 2.0 lbs this week, so am finally out of the 170s and into the 160s, albeit at the very high end. I mentioned elsewhere that I shaved off 100 calories from my daily calorie allowance to achieve this. I'm at least glad that that sacrifice worked. I have restored those calories so that I can enjoy the extra snacks I missed this past week.
My next interim goal is to fit into all of my size smaller jeans and dresses again. I guess that will require another 6 to 7 lbs loss. After that, I'll set another interim goal.

Thanks for sharing this article, Deb. I am not currently a WW member (I used to be) but it seems applicable to all. I know that this time around I must make exercise a more significant part of my current weight loss journey. So far it has been, but I could up it even more. Last night I was totally beat after dinner, but my husband said we should walk, so we did. Glad we did so, and even walked further than I expected. When we got home, I immediately washed up for bed and totally crashed, but woke up feeling good.

I am firmly in onederland and weighed in at 187 yesterday. I am making my way down on the scale and happy to be doing so. At the moment I am on the old Core program and it seems to be working for me
