I'm IN.
ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅π
Today is a WFH day. I thought I/we didn't get much done at CC yesterday but when we tallied it up, it was a day full of "little things that add up in the grand scheme". Today's list is long and mostly Russ-centered although there is some Young Marines work to complete before tomorrow's drill.
And of course, we are waiting for the storm to come through this afternoon.
Coffee... βββ... breakfast...
π¦ππ»ππ¦ππ»ππ¦ππ»ππ¦ππ»ππ¦ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! π¦ππ»ππ¦ππ»ππ¦ππ»ππ¦ππ»ππ¦

Stay safe MJ. The worst appears to be west of us at the moment. I'm planned and tracked.

Good morning. I hope the storm moves away and spares you all.
I am with the grands today. DGS has a zoom meeting at noon today to discuss his role in band this year. He has never played trombone so I wonder how that works in a virtual school. This should be interesting.
The good news is the roof is complete and everything is cleaned up. Yea!
Have a good day, you'll. Stay safe!

We've been getting hammered for hours here in the Philly suburbs. Just wow! So grateful we still have power. DB's is out.
So much water - stay safe inland and coastal peeps!
I'm in.

Happy Tuesday!
Be safe to everyone in the path of the hurricane! UGH!!
I had to go in and check my office. Apparently there has been some weirdness going on in our building (which is closed and locked). When I got to my office, there were some workers working in my suite replacing some of the pipes in the wall HVAC unit. He apologized to me for the scratches in the paint. No worries, I have the extra to do touch ups. I then found a note from our regular maintenance guy saying "sorry about the paint but the leak is fixed!" Ummm OK. I looked at my floor under my desk and it's all warped and the paint on the wall behind my desk (above the rubber trim that has fallen down) was all bubbly and icky. GREAT! We have had serious mold problems in our building so I'm sure my office is NEXT! UGH UGH UGH! I did report it to our department head's secretary so there is record of it.
One of my friends met me on campus and we walked about 3 1/2 miles. It was nice to catch up with her in person and chat and get some exercise in. My big dog is mad because I didn't take her with me. I really should have! It is so so so nice out there! I may run them all to the dog park later today.
My gallbladder started to act up again in the middle of the night. I guess I should probably call my doctor to see if I can get in to him (he is also our county health director so I know the poor man is super busy right now). If I can't see him, I guess it's to urgent care I go! BLAH!
Anyway, I hope you all have a great day! Positive energy to all!

neen,- take care of yourself, get that gall bladder taken care of! I just realized how long it's been since I've checked in. I've either been at school or doing on ling training pretty much every weekday. We got official confirmation today that we WILL be going back to school with a hybrid model. Group A goes to school Monday/Thursday with on line learning the other days. Group B goes Tuesday/Friday with on line the other 3. We got permission for our kids to go to school all 5 days. The hybrid would just not be good for the kids. I hope you are all safe and healthy

Some of us in NJ, eastern PA and perhaps elsewhere had power outages today because of Hurricane Isaias. I just got mine back at about 10:30 pm after almost 12 daytime hours in the dark. I hope others in the affected areas have or will soon have electricity. Thought I would put this out there since I know some here live in the areas. I hope no one was hurt or their property. Lots of trees and lines down from the winds, and tornadoes further south in NJ.
My brother is an electrician who specializes in generators. He was ultra busy today. He stopped by my house, briefly, but had to run as calls kept coming in.
