After a surprising mini gain last week, I knew this week would be a good one. I lost 2.8 lbs, some of which was likely from last week, but wasn't obvious because of water weight or something. I am the lightest I have been in over two years and again back, more securely, in the lower ten pound bracket (160s). It's possible that I could reach a total, to date, 10 lb loss by next Friday. I will then have the challenge of maintaining my weight loss over an extended vacation. I know that will be hard! I won't beat myself up if I gain a little bit then.

I started keeping my sister company using an app to track progress with weight/food/exercise/etc. It is on my phone and checking it and in with my sister since May 16 has been fun and interesting.
I am down 20 pounds (as of this morning) since May 16
In addition, I went back to the CORE plan (old WW program) on August 1 and though I had two days of indulgence this week that had the scale UP over five pounds, counted points again for two days thinking it would be "better" then went back to Core again the past two days...this morning I was down again and had dropped all the pounds gained plus a bit more.
I am down 6.2 pounds since August 1 on Core.
Core is working for me. I am getting in a balance of foods and not focused on "points" but instead on protein, carbs, dairy, etc. I am only counting the non-core points and using the 35 weeklies and any activity points to have those non-core/non-power-food items I want to ingest.

The “at your age” part is so insulting! Glad you are where you feel most comfortable.
Congrats to everyone! Cathy that is so wonderful to have found what works best for you. Your foods that you eat seem like they fit so perfectly into the core plan.
During shutdown since March 11 I had lost 12 lbs but have jumped up 2 over the last week due to extra snacking which I’d stopped for months only to have TOM derail me last week. So I’m on a mission to get the 2 lbs back off and then 4 more from there to get to goal. So I’m right now 6 from goal.

Congrats to all. Some great victories here. I am consistently remaining 2-3 lbs. below goal. Next month will be my first LT WI at a studio. You now have to WI at a studio to get your free LT etools extended unless you can convince CS otherwise
