I honestly do not believe there will ever be a cure for cancer. It's a BIG money maker.
BIG, BIG, money.
Just saying.

money is the big motivator to keep people sick. just look at our health insurance companies in the US. shameful that anyone should make millions of $ in bonuses because they allowed people to die and withheld care.

This thought makes me so very sad. My coworker, mid 50's was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer. She's going for a PET scan tomorrow to see how far it has spread.

I'm sorry too.
When I was in my twenties a woman I worked with had cancer. Cancer? It was the first time any of us who worked with her knew anybody who had cancer, and it was scary. Terrifying.
These days there isn't one person who doesn't know anyone who doesn't have, or had, cancer. Including their pets!
That was over 50 years ago! The only progress we've made is in the profit column. Cancer hospitals, special cancer doctors, cancer treatment centers, drugs, wigs, etc.
