How are you doing on late night eating, bedtime snacks?

We eat dinner real late so I don't eat after dinner. When I started WW I had a planned snack at bedtime but over the years it got moved down earlier in the day.

I usually end up eating much earlier than my husband does and try to close the kitchen around or before 6pm. That said, if I have wine in the evening I tend to lose sight of points and eat more than I had planned to.

I don't eat after dinner. Hard and fast rule. If I'm hungry, I should be sleeping. I'll drink water though.
My snack attack is around 2-3 in the afternoon. I allot points for that and end up with 4 smaller meals in a day.

I’m not doing well with this . Recovery is quicker than it used to be though. I give myself credit for that progress.

I used to have a bedtime snack when I was growing up. That was my mom's snack attack time. I suspect that she thought that if my sister and I were having a bedtime snack, it was OK for her to have a snack along with us.
If I snack in the evenings, it's not confined to bedtime. It goes on all evening long. In order to put a stop to it, after supper I brush and floss my teeth and then rinse with Listerine. The lingering taste of Listerine in the mouth kind of destroys the taste of anything else. If I really just have to have something, I fix a cup of hot tea.

Right now, I'm trying to limit nighttime 'snacks' to an after dinner Italian ice. It's 3 PP but it cools me down immediately when it's really hot out at night, so that's what I'm doing. Before that, I'm trying to use fresh fruit as a dessert. And during the first 3 months of quarantine I was a baking fool and we'd have an evening cookie or piece of tea cake with our evening tea. That cannot go on all Fall/Winter for obvious reasons, but I'd like to figure out a way to do it sometimes, because it's a nice little treat at night. I know...why use food as a treat, right?!?

I don’t snack late at night but sometimes eat a little too late- which means snacking before dinner.
my goal is to follow Beck’s vegetables before dinner, but I’m not there yet.
