Prayers are going up for those in the path of fire and storm(s).

Today we'll drop off the solid maple 1940s-50s 4-drawer desk in EXCELLENT condition that one of our neighbors had put out for trash pickup. We've made them VERY happy; they did not want to discard it but truly had no place for it any more (and had gotten it "with the house" many years ago). We've made our DD VERY happy; she had expressed her need for a desk for the Mouseketeer and MousekeTWO, as the new virtual-learning school year gets closer to its start. We've made US very, VERY happy; we're doing something for OUR FAMILY - the Flock of Fifteen - and not yet-another thing for DBigBro.
Later, we'll drop off the oak bookshelf for the Kressling, one rescued item from DBigBro's apartment and just big enough to replace the particle-board one he's been using.
Then there'll be groceries, planning for the week at CC, and NASCAR. Maybe there'll be a steak in there as well...
Coffee... ☕☕☕... ibuprofen...
