My goals are to attend my WW Zoom meeting next Monday, to track my food, weigh and measure, exercise, meditate, and keep up with my online support groups. My winter depression is starting to hit and I'm not as good with my exercise and meditation as I was but did get them in today. My me-time is going to be computer, puzzle, exercise, and meditation time.

Weekly goal: Continute to get back into a normal routine. Cooked for the first time since August 20. Yay! Also, calm this darn cat down. He is still protesting his busted routine.
Me-time: Reading, exercise, meditating, watching non-news TV.

It’s been hectic as my mom’s been in the hospital with an infection and is being discharged tomorrow AND our adult kids are visiting after getting negative Covid test so this week’s goal is to just get back on track.
me time= time with kids while they are here.

bbbearsmom, he is slooowly getting used to being home. I think he's bored. Jeremy, the British cat boarder, said he was getting along with the three female cats that were also there. Is this the same cat? When he sees an outside cat here he goes ballistic. He is like the child that behaves well at school and is a brat at home.

lani, Maybe you need to get him a friend, although that doesn't always work out. We have three cats and the newest is 2 or 3 years. Well the oldest a female is forever reminding me she didn't ask for a little brother. He pesters her and goes after her a lot.

Goal is to stay OP this week and try to add back in a few Pilates sessions, which I have been avoiding while the weather was really hot the past 3 weeks.
Me time is reading, walking (which is also exercise but I like to just space out while I'm walking), self facials maybe?

bbbearsmom , Thank you for keeping us going! How do you counteract the autumn/winter depression?
luvvinlife , What are you reading and what project are you working on needlework-wise?
lani , Enjoy settling back into your normal routine. Hope the kitty settles down, too. Maybe it just missed you and wants to let you know not to leave again?
lizlor , Glad your mother will be discharged soon but sorry she had to be in the hospital. Will she need care when she gets home? Enjoy the time with your children!
surfgirl , I have been avoiding walking due to the heat AND not having enough guaranteed water for showers every day. I took a quick cold shower yesterday. No idea when the water will return so not exercising till we have water in tanks on the roof and ground BUT those tanks are limited and when the water is gone it is gone till more fills it up. So...conserving water, saving dish-rinse-water, bathroom conservation, etc.

cathygeha, I’m reading Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan I’m working on winter hats & scarves for my grandchildren and a crib blanket requested by my daughter’s coworker. When I’m done, I will return to a project that collects scarves for veterans.

cathygeha, thanks! No, that darn cat prefers the cat boarder to us. He is a genuine "cat whisperer" a la Jackson Galaxy. Kitty is running out of energy to complain, every day a little less protesting.

cathygeha, It is rough going. I have a winter depression Facebook group and they help me get through it. I think me meditating is helping some. I'm quicker to counter bad thought patterns. When I do exercise that helps. Actually the socializing from all of my online groups help.
