Good morning - THINK FIRST, THURSDAY... I am already thinking about my evening at the mall! LOL Yes DD and I have decided to head to the mall after work - nails - finish shopping - then grab the groceries... yup... still procrastinating on that! Tonight is pretty much the end of any procrastinating that can be done!
Yesterday was good - eating I mean... I ended up ordering out, but opted for a huge salad with grilled chicken and mozz cheese... I forgot to say no cheese... but that's OK... since the bulk of the meal was LETTUCE... I can live with tracking the cheese! LOL
Getting kind of a late start this morning... was catching up on FB... DH cousins DD had her baby last night...Ivan Anthony, stubborn and needed some help, but an adorable little guy no matter when he decided to make an appearance!
Will grab more coffee and catch up here... ☼

Oh Sue... sorry your DM STILL gets to you every now and again.... but YAY at least she liked the cards form the girls..?... ! I came home last night and made the last of my Hot Chocolate and Chai... got it in the jars, labels and all... this morning I will break up the bark to take along... Christine: Hope the past 2 days wasn't "too much" for your knee... how is it doing today?? We do the itemizing and donations too... UGgh, garage sales and Tag Sales...too much work for too little money!! LOL Oh yes your entry sounds like mine... but we have TWO! Yes front entryway is "Main" entry and in good weather a MES... out back we have a "safer" entry for bad weather, and now IT is a mess... well not NOW, as that was part of my focus Monday... now people can come IN and actually take off boots, coats, etc., and HANG them, AND use the bench that is cleared off!! Your cleaning is so much better organized than mine... Ugghh... I sweep when it feels gross under my bare feet - and since I am never barefoot this time of year... YUCK! LOL I did manage to get the dishes done last night and wiped... thoroughly - every counter, the island and cleaned the microwave - coffee pot - toaster... feeling a little better about the house as I go... Lisa: I hear ya... I need to THINK of another gift for one sister, and then buy it!! YAY for a quiet visit with DD, and good luck on your scan project! Sue: Will you still be in re-hab/recovery early April?? LOL I know you are skimming posts, so am thinking that's why you aren't answering my question... rather than not "wanting" to answer... I'd love to swing by Hanover on my way to NC on Sunday April 2... if you'd be up for a visit?!? I will have Ken and maybe Tracy with me... Gabrielle: LOL I Hadn't even noticed the "stars"!! We all know I AM a talker! I don't do laundry every day either... we usually have enough clothes to get us through so my weekends are laundry up the wazoo!! Our "junk" mail piles up... I ask DH to ditch the junk daily as he brings it in - but he "can't" make the decision about what is junk and what isn't... seriously? LOL I mean How many credit card offers do we NEED daily? Those are junk no matter when they arrive!!! My Christmas Eve morning will be pretty laid back... will make Eden her oatmeal - then we will bake some cookies... then I have cleaning to do, to finish up and be ready for Sunday... and I want to get a handle on the brunch stuff for Sunday morning... will have Zoë too, so this is all what I "plan" to do... what gets DONE, is another matter...

Gabrielle: Your holiday plans sound so "cozy"... WOW to having 45 people last weekend! I bet it was a great time!!
Jenny: OH MY! What a scene that must have been!! Glad you weren't there to observe it - or be sucked into it all... I am sure the boss will "come around" and continue his generosity after things calm down!
Shelly: YES! A great loss so close to the holiday!! HOW??? Who cares... as long as it's GONE!!!

OK Time to get moving here... a little snow on the ground - just enough to make it a nuisance...I think... no school delays so it can't be too bad out there! Looking forward to shopping and nails tonight with DD... probably should't spend the time or the money - but Hey... I think we deserve it! :-) Missing the Open House tonight, but like I said, I was going on Sunday - it's not my fault they had to postpone it and we DID have these plans in our minds by then! Not apologizing for not changing my plans... DH will go over, and he said he's fine with me not going... need to walk to a local place today and grab a gift certificate as their gift...will mail it to them this weekend. Ken was pleasantly surprised yesterday, the NEW bosses gave them holiday bonus'... still nothing from the former employers... but it's not the end of the year yet! I would "assume" if they are giving those bonus' they'd want to do it this year, to get the whole "tax package" in the same year... Anyway... hugs to all ♥ try to THINK FIRST TODAY - and then HEY WHY NOT TRACK IT?! I am still tracking - numbers look good - stil no losses at the scale, but no gains to worry about either... so my maintaining goal is going well! ♥hugs♥

Morning Carole....
Yes Carole...it is NOT that I don't want to do personals...time is the key!! I have none! Had planned to come home last night, do nothing but catch up and relax but it didn't happen that way!! Oh well...
I have been skimming to try to at least know what is going on around here! I know tomorrow morning, I will be able to spend some time here...Jason has to work for a while tomorrow but I'm off....4:30pm this afternoon, I'm out until Tuesday at 8:00am!! Will go to the grocery store after work to pick up a few things...then home to make a little more brittle and try to clean the kitchen a bit. Will head to BJ's mid morning to pick up the last of the things I need for Christmas day!!!
You will not believe it Carole...I will actually be in Auburn on April 2nd!! We plan to go up on Friday and come back on Monday!! Can't believe you will be coming through town and I'll be in MA...maybe on the way home???
WI today is up .8#....still have a "5" in the middle but not as low as I was last week....oh well, eating has been really out of whack this week so I guess I should be happy!!
Carole...you are doing great maintaining and tracking over the holidays....I'm doing pretty well, still tracking as best I can with the luncheons and festivities....I try to at least find something close to track when I can't find something!!
Shelly....saw you had a great loss this week!!
Christine...take care of that knee, no more over doing it!!!
Time to pack my lunchbox and track the day...I know there will be some "treats" today but hope to keep them to a minimum!! Have some roast pork leftover from the other day when I had put it in the crockpot plus butternut squash and a nice veggie "tray" with no dip!! Baked omelet for breakfast....
Have a great OP day all....

Good morning all! YAY last day at work till Jan. 3! I am ready for a break, although I am grateful for the job security for the spring semester. And the schedule I like!
Carole-thanks for starting us off. Good luck at the mall...I was all over yesterday but I think I am done. I had a long line at Barnes and Noble in the AV section, but everyone seemed to be patient and the associate had helped me find what I was looking for. Now is the time for procrastinators to get going but super procrastinators will be out on Saturday. That said, even though things might be picked over, there will probably be some great deals!
Sue-I know what you mean about personals...I really want to connect with everyone but always feel like I don't have the time or my ipod is so unreliable that I type a long message then it doesn't post for whatever reason.
So going to see my Dad after work today and my cleaning day is tomorrow. Even though just our immediate family, I want to tidy up a bit.
Scanning project worked on test page but then didn't work on all the other pages. My niece took a shot at it and made some adjustments on the copier and turned the booklet a different way and did a page at a time and appended them all together in Adobe Acrobat. She is much more techy than me but I felt like an idiot not being able to complete it!
Try to bbl...still have a lot of wrapping to do!

Good morning! So today DH and I are part of the "procrastinators" (not yet "super procrastinators") and we are finishing up our shopping. LOL, I haven't set foot in a store (except the grocery store) all season so I like hearing the music, seeing the decorations, and the window shopping as well. I only have a few things to get, but have to make a list or I will forget things. DH and I will go to lunch--most likely at Cheesecake Factory (where I have never had a piece of cheesecake, LOL) and they have good salads. Looking forward to spending the time with DH. I have been eating too many carbs (sweet and otherwise) the last few days and I do NOT like how it makes me feel. Today will be a more "clean" day. Already spent some time on the TM and hope to do a longer run tomorrow since I will not be doing a long run on Christmas Sunday. So the big news is that we might have a white Christmas! I know that for some of you this is not a great thing, but it's a big deal here. Around my house we just get a little snow a few times a year but it never aligns with Christmas! We'll see....onto personals.

Carole: Thanks for starting us off. Sounds like a nice evening for you! So glad that the two of you built in manicures in it--makes it even more special! So nice of you to provide those gifts for co-workers...I am sure that they appreciate it. By the way, I am glad that you decided to miss the work thing for DH.....you ALWAYS go to things and this one was delayed--good for you! Very nice that the new owners gave DH a bonus...hope that the other larger one comes through soon. A nice way to start the new year!
Jenny: Wow to the work party drama! You know, there are lots of news stories and magazine articles about how to behave at an office party--because there are so many people who don't! I am like you...NO WAY am I going to overdrink or anything else. I can't imagine. I am sure that the whole thing was very disheartening to the boss and his statement was a knee-jerk reaction (heck, I probably would have said the same thing!) Time will heal it I would think. In the meantime, that driver is luck to still have a job! Sheesh!

Shelly: Great WI! Whatever you are doing, you are doing it right! Nice that you can go to the Christmas service at church--I'll bet that the music will be beautiful. DS22 is working part time at Walgreen's. They REALLY like him because he is so reliable--I am amazed at how flakey some employees can be! We will work around his work hours. When I was in college, I worked at Macy's during the holidays and had to work till 10 pm on Christmas Eve---glad he doesn't have to do that. Hope that you have a good day! Sue: Good job still having the 5 in the middle! Glad that you have some time off to relax--you have been one busy lady! Hope that you can sneak in a swim or two on those days...it would probably feel good! Wow, that surgery day will be here before you know it...have a good day! Christine: Hope that you are doing well...when is your check up? Fingers crossed that you can ride that bike--so excited for you to be out of pain and enjoying it! Hello to all who follow. Need to shower and get a move on. I have to get DH out shopping before he changes his mind Have a good day!

Will say...it's heaven around here today...many of our customers are also closed tomorrow & Monday so the bulk of the work that needed to be processed before the holiday has already come in and today the office people are just mulling around, taking care of the few things that need to be done but enjoying our last day before the holiday! We already have 50+ more jobs come in this month than projected so that adds to the workload....by this time of the month though, most all new incoming jobs are for the next month. Our journals process on a 5-10 day schedule...most in the 6-8 day range which means jobs coming into production today will be slated to mail/ship around January 3rd or 4th...
The plant though is going FULL TILT....many are working tomorrow OT since there is only 5 "working" days left to the year and the work needs to get out the door! With those additional 50+ jobs, the workload is high!! Tomorrow is not mandatory but still many are taking advantage of the extra $$ this time of year, especially since it's only December 23rd and they will still have a 3 day weekend for the holiday!
I've even had time to make my shopping list for after work... I know the stores will likely be packed today at 4:30pm but since I'm all but at the store here at work, it makes sense to just do that today. Tomorrow I will head a totally different direction to BJ's. On Christmas Eve, I will have to come back this direction to go to the AT&T store to make the big phone switch...not sure I told you what I was doing for Jason this year for Christmas or not....will fill you in later!
Gotta run...time to sort the mail!!

Evening all...Tried to check in earlier today but never was able to post.
Carole thanks for starting us off. I didn't have the healthiest lunch today. It was late and the girls wanted sonic so I got a grilled chicken sandwich but I did also get a reg order of tutor tots and a medium soda. So I am sure that ruined my whole day. Need to track it. Good job on your salad last night. Sounds yummy. That is what I shouldve went with today.
Yay to another new baby in the family. Glad he finally made his debut. Carole I am pretty lazy when it comes to cleaning. When I get home I usually end up on the couch. Sometimes I cook sometimes DH does. Dishes do NOT get done every night. I try to keep it picked up for the most part but do need to do better. I too have a big pile of junk mail. I really should do better I guess I am just lazy.
Hope your shopping trip went good. Nice you are able to get your nails done. I wouldn't worry about missing the open house. Like you said if they wouldn't have changed it you wouldve been there. Nice DH got a Christmas bonus from the new owners. Hope the other bonus comes through soon.

Sue how nice that you have a few days off. Oh how I would love to have a 4 day weekend during the holiday. Maybe someday I can just be the customer and not have to work the busy holiday madness. I really have to get to working my Team National but finding the time hasn't been on the top of my list. Need to change that. Sorry about WI but you will be back down in no time. Nice that you still have the "5" so you are doing ok.
Lisa oh how nice you are off until next year!!! Enjoy your time. Glad DN was able to get the project done. Not sure I wouldve been able how to do it either. Sometimes I just get too frustrated and have to walk away and then come back and can concentrate better. Hope you got your wrapping done.
Gabrielle I was able to stay out of the stores for the most part. Had to go and get stuff for our Elf Costume and picked up a few things for DGD Abel. He is only 11 months but I bought him 18 months. He is such a chunk. He is over 20#'s. Glad DS doesn't have to work so late but I bet he has great work ethic. Yes some employees are pretty flaky. I think some just think it is a job that doesn't mean anything so they think it is ok to call in and it won't really matter no one will miss them. They are so wrong. Every person is very important.
Sue nice it is a quiet day at the office today. Sounds like business is good. Hope you was able to do your shopping tonight after work.
Ok I am out and think I am going to bed. Should be a busy day tomorrow and Saturday.
