I will PTMH. Yesterday was a good day for eating and moving but air quality skyrocketed from 161 to 280. Madera across the river was 290 and 300 or higher is hazardous. We were warned not to go outside but I walked early, did some errands and deliver more handbooks. You do what you have to do. Today my manicurist is coming at 10:30 to give me a manicure. I need to pick up a few groceries and will see how the air is to do more. I can deliver handbooks another day. Itβs totally volunteer on my part. Bee, weβre watching Sally. I have to see if you posted about your appointment. Letβs all stay safe and cool.

I can keep doing what I have been doing.
Scale: 181
Still not into the next decade but I will be and am feeling good as I move that direction. My attitude is positive and I am enjoying what I am eating. I walked 20 minutes yesterday and plan to do so again today eventually building up to 60 minutes (again) and then more.
Not sure what lunch will be but thinking Mjudra (lentils, bulgur and fried onions) with cucumber, mint, garlic, yogurt salad.
JUNE: I am glad that you have figured out a way to teach as you always do and do it online! My husband says he is not fond of soup in summer SO am not making more soup till it gets cooler, probably.
BEE: Your pea soup sounds like the base for many delicious soups. Your oncology appointment sounds like it went well. I am glad you like the doctor, there is a PET scan ordered and you will know more soon.
ANN: I like hummus, too, and have beans of some sort every day. I have also made pureed beans of various colors to use as I would hummus. There was one white bean with a bit of vinegar and sage that was tasty and called Tuscan...can't remember it exactly. How nice that the nursing home and you both were happy with the donation!
SUSI: The stuffings for the chicken sound divine...bet they would be good in a stuffed potato, too!
AUDREY: The air quality is a killer! My sister says she has read it is not healthy to be out in it but is not going to kill her in the short term. She also said she thinks about miners and hopes that what she has read is true...and stays out of it if it is hazardous but walks if it is just unhealthy. I actually went to a try-out for the Dating Game but did not get on the show so YES I do remember it
BECKY: It sounds like shopping is an adventure when you go to Walmart. I used to enjoy walking through big stores like that and the big box stores...so many different items in the USA and there are here in Lebanon.
LADONNA: I bet you are looking forward to next week!
Okay...need to get cooking soon or we might have Lupper instead of lunch and supper.

Good morning girls. Slept well and woke up to a temperature of 41. Needed a light blanket on the bed last night and that felt good. Too cold to sit out. I guess those days will be numbered now. We'll enjoy them while we can. No plans for today...I shall continue to PTMH and KOKO as I see fit. Audrey thanks for the start. So sorry about your air quality. Happy you got to do your errands earlier. Enjoy your manicure. You are right...you do what you have to do. Prayers continue. LaDonna I hope this week won't be too hectic for you. I bet you will be SO HAPPY to start your vacation I can feel the excitement in your post Cathy, great job on your weight loss. You'll see that new decade. I just KNOW you will. LOL to LUPPER Put a smile on my face. Also a big bean lover. Waving and wishing all a wonderful day. Can you believe September is half over?

BBL for personals.
Pray for the folks in Mississippi and Alabama as Hurricane Sally has shifted more to the east, They say the storm is barely moving forward, and won't hit until tomorrow morning.
Going out some time today to water the plants.
Other than that am continuing to chew on what the doc told me yesterday.
Praying for ALL!

Goooood morning
Caught up on the posts from yesterday and this morning. We are a chatty group of friends.
Thought I would "chat" in no particular order just to shake up my routine!
Bee As I so often do with our group, I wish that I could give you a big, warm hug. In spirit, we are standing with you. ππ¦ππ¦ My vegetable soup happened but not as planned. I pulled out the last quart from the freezer. Cabbage still is sitting in the fridge trying to decide what to be.
LaDonna LOL why is it a vacation from work means more work before you go and more work after you come home? Great to be back in your groove and OP. R is cooking the last of his venison backstraps. Using a family recipe for the sauce. Good eating!
Susi Any word on the dog adoption? I thought of your garden as I located one large red tomato on R's bush. It's his first of the traditional tomatoes. We have had a steady supply of the cherry tomatoes. Yum! LOL. I am making things work & maintaining a healthy lifestyle. That counts for a lot in my book.
Pam Hope all is well with you!
Ann Goodness. . Amazing what level of pettiness people can find. Sad that someone ripped down your free books notice. It is getting brisk here. Yesterday I wore a tee shirt under a heavier shirt. It was one of dad's & wearing it made me feel happy.
Becky Still laughing about WMart. We HAVE seen a thing or two. Plus R has made a spectacle of himself kissing me in the store. Why? " Because"was his answer.
Audrey Those fires are unbelievable and heartbreaking. Your letters will brighten the days of those who read them. What a wonderful gesture. Good that you can deliver the handbooks. Very thoughtful.

Tuesday's goals
Took a long morning to sleep later, linger over tea & breakfast, and "talk" to you. Nice soak in the today is set for later. Trying to decide ipwhether to walk or clean.
Cruisin' in the blue lane and following the school bus at asafe distance. Scale is not giving me any surprises. All is well that ends well.
Will try to check back later.

Great goals for today, June. I vote for a nice walk in the cool fresh air rather than cleaning. Always a day when you can't enjoy mother nature to do that sort of thing Oh I bet it was so very comforting to have one of your DD heavier shirts on. Thanks for sharing that. Enjoy that nice soak today. RE: the pettiness...as my DM would say 'it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round' I'm just happy that the NH accepted them all. My day is planned and tracked. In a bit I'll head on out for a walk. Waving.......

Bee, have you had PET scans. I did when I was diagnosed with low grade and then former which was about 2002. It did not make me claustrophobic like an MRI but I remember having to hold my body in certain positions for what seemed like forever.I am sure a lot of the techniques have changed since then.
Kathy my plateau broke after five days exactly the same way so I am sure yours will too.It went down 2.7 pounds which Iβm sure is for a longer period of time than the five days. Now I have to keep it there before I can move down again. My body is so used to being a yo-yo.
